  1. Right, I suppose you wouldn't. The Ivory Mages are... were.... some of the most powerful good mages in the game. They were destroyed by Golemzilla.
  2. I call Iey over to heal him, and help him to his feet. I ask him if he knows what's going on outside, and why he's here.
  3. I remove some of the metal from the inside of my armour and allomantically manipulate it to form a metal suit that keeps my limbs from collapsing and other outer negative effects caused by the blood loss. I ready my polemace, and begin looking for items in the corpses of those eaten by the spider. I keep an eye on Earthsage and Iey.
  4. I bow, thanking the elf, and hand her Jen's Staff, saying that it will assist her against any demons that she might face. I then begin looking around, creating an orb of light to float near me and light the way.
  5. Yeah, the players have a telepathic link in this game =b
  6. I extend the spikes on my armour to rip apart the cocoon, and keep those on the head, shoulders, arms, and back extended in case the spider tries what it did before. I begin carefully cutting open the other cocoons with a knife I form from a bit of my armour's steel.
  7. I'm still here.
  8. Why isn't it on par with the rules? Also, my RS membership just ran out, so I'm out of it.
  9. I'm here.
  10. Sorry about the wait. Earth, finding that the glove has unexpected properties, leaves the cryogenics hallway to help the wounded. Tyden, gasping, apologizes to his commander before passing out again as bloods seeps from the wound in his arm. Paul is simply lying on the ground, not moving. Charles tries to snatch away Jen's gun and is clubbed in the head, knocking him out. Exhausted and bleeding, tired now that the threat to her life is over, Jen collapses next to him. Seemingly a world away from this mayhem, Zathe walks up and puts his hand on the A.I. screen. After a few moments, it begins to glow with a dim light. "Greetings, my friend, Zathe. You must be wondering why I activated you. You and another maintenance A.I. were awakened to care for this section of the ship. The hull was breached by several Telduar vessels attempting an attack. However, they seem not to have anticipated the thickness of these walls, and their vessels barely broke through. Few made it into the ship alive, and were quickly dispatched by the Terran soldiers and combat A.I. such as yourself. The breaching ships that were still manned withdrew and left holes through which a good deal of oxygen escaped. I sealed off those areas, but not quickly enough. An officer named Jen and her unit were the only personnel to survive in this section, as the cryogenics chambers are always secure incase of such instances, with a backup oxygen supply. Unfortunately, while several maintenance A.I. were repairing the circuits damaged by the Telduar, the system suffered an overload. An electromagnetic pulse similar to that caused by Terran combat gloves, originating from a control panel in one of the cryogenics hallways, destroyed practically all ship electronics and most of the maintenance and combat A.I. Even the LO Drive was destroyed, and the ship is currently in the gravitational pull of a nearby star. I can activate the cryogenics hallway's backup LO Drive and have it collide with the nearest planet, but I cannot guarantee the safety or success of such a manuever. If you would please step back into the cryogenics hallway, I can jettison that section before we collide with the sun. Goodbye, and good luck, old friend."
  11. Ok, whatever. You made a mistake trying to "help" though, I would've been fine. If I needed help I would've asked, and you really need to stop using acid. Nothing good has come of it.
  12. While it's too expensive to be a legitimate concept, just imagine... The Tavern playing EVE Online! If you don't know what that is, google it and watch the full-length trailer. It's epic, and not close to a quarter of the game. EVE online has an unimaginably huge game world... I've heard of players who took several real-life days to get from one end to the other in hyperdrive. And that says nothing for the wormhole-accessed pocket dimensions. EVE's economy is player driven, its space stations are player built and controlled, and its combat is player vs player battles of massive scale.
  13. Earth, there was a stone shield above me and the web was just going to slide off unless I rolled like a three or lower. But your acid burned through the shield... Really, during group adventures, read the other posts and responses.
  14. Teehee!
  15. You have no idea how often I get pissed. It just kinda went on overload when you dropped acid in my face. Actually, maybe I have such good luck because of karma. My character is generally lawful good after all.
  16. Earthsage, that's because you annoy me. And when else have I done anything stupid? Other than trying to save you from that troll, of course. And throwing a fireball into that room full of dynamite and igniting the wooden mine supports. And creating a mineshaft underneath a bar that took a day to create and was built into the side of a mountain, causing it to collapse onto me and my bar patrons. And trying to save Poseidon's sorry arse from that angry mob. And... actually, I can't think of anything else. And I haven't died yet, unlike everyone else but Meguy, Iey, and Poseidon. Guess I'm not too bad! And I'm sure we'd all love to have you with us Iey. It's nice to have someone who isn't trying to kill you all the time. Oh, and nice job creating entirely new forms of magic. And my staff didn't start out making interesting noises, I enchanted it to do that, and I can focus the sounds of that staff to a particular frequency. I can use it to do a sonic dash, or attune it to the resonant frequency of, oh, stone perhaps? And the metal banding on the staff allows me to use my allomancy and turn it into a polearm. Of course, I don't have that with me in our little apocalypse campaign... I brought my demondeath staff instead! :D
  17. I'll try. This stinks.
  18. SOME of us cannot do DnD. This is stupid, and shouldn't we be considerate of Iey?
  19. I begin flying the 304, hiveship, and city ship towards Earthsage's location. I have all the 304 crew go onto the city-ship, and have the 304 manned by the Wraith. I have the Wraith ready to beam in and defend me if the city ship crew refuses my order to carpet bomb the castle on that planet.
  20. So, when's the session tonight? We NEED to have one to see how Iey does.
  21. Allomancy is a good skill. Powerful. If you're creative you can do anything. And, if all the Archineers are killed and the skill disappears we get all our points refunded in any other skills.
  22. Don't get your hopes up. We have Hex. Things you need to know about: Mather - Never mention ANYTHING that could in any way be related to the Norse or Stargate. It's asking for a ten-page argument. Earthsage - Try to ignore his bad grammar. And don't mention pastries, trench spikes, or zombies. Ross - Don't mention Mather or Earthsage related arguments, and don't get in the way of his epicness. And DO NOT try to stealth attack him. Archi - OBEY. Poseidon - Resist the urge to rip his face off. ICU - If you go anywhere with him, stay a fair distance away. Bad things have happened and will again. The dice hate him. Grim - Do not provoke him to GRIMSMASH RAAARRRGGGHHHH you. Rocco - Do not listen to, attack, ally with, or in any way trust him. Trust me. Pieiseaten - Don't let him use you as a transmorgrification experiment. Or reagent. Paul - Do not attack Ikana. He has a lazor. And that's about it for Dungeoneering. You already know about me, and Retech is the mod. Gods help us.
  23. Iey, who are the Lunar Magi? Knowing Tech, though, he'll probably just toss you in with an Ivory Mage. You started in the midst of an epic campaign, so you may or may not get a starting advantage.
  24. Don't be so surprised, Grim. Not only males can roleplay. In fact, I think you should watch that top spot of yours. Iey's devious. Retech, remember the clan General incident?
  25. More likely she'll use the alchohol as an accelerant for your pyre. =b
