I use the geomancy charge to clear and reinforce the North tunnel.

What's your Java version? Thing is, all the necessary packets get through the firewall that were originally blocked, and now we don't see anything getting blocked. It seems like one of those random "computer won't run a program for no reason, and throughout the entire net there is no known solution" problems. =(

I'm still getting java.net.ConnectException: connection refused: connect whenever I try to get on.

I continue keeping myself stable, going through sword dances in my head, hopefully learning something about melee combat and/or dexterity.

I try to regulate my blood flow and breathing, focusing on keeping myself stable and conscious. I continue to imagine pleasant things like killing people with katanas.

I try to wake up, regulate my breathing, and staunch with a strip of my clothing/put pressure on the wounds to stop the bleeding. I try to think pleasant, calming thoughts, like driving my katanas through Kimako's eye-sockets for going along with the Roleplaying for once and NOT GETTING TO ME SOONER!

Ooh, "Newcomer Approaching!" Nice to see a new face, maybe Paul will do a session now... Also, as soon as you start, Meguy, look for a Duty faction base =)

Might be fun, but I like improv. RPGs like D'neering just a bit more. I might try, though.

I harden my mind, firm in my belief that the I will not drift down the tunnel, that it would be impossible to drift down the tunnel, that there is no tunnel to drift down. I try to propel myself in the opposite direction.

Crap. I try to move as far away from the light as possible, closing my eyes and remembering things like jumping between trees, swinging my katanas, juggling knives, and other such things that anchor me to life. KIMAKO! GET OVER HERE NOW! AND CALL A MEDICAL TEAM!

Kimako, you need to radio a medical team. Varius attempts to regain consciousness.

I run towards the nearest open door/window, hurl myself out, and lean against a wall where no one would be able to shoot me without exposing themselves. I try to patch myself up, radioing Kimako and her men and asking for immediate assistance. Failing that, I staunch the wound with strips of my clothing and keep pressure on the wound, radioing Duty base for a medical squad.

I jump, spin, twist, duck, and generally do everything possible to dodge the bullets (dexterity?), I throw knives when possible and stay away from the windows being fired at. Anything that comes within range I slash with my katana.

SIXTH SENSE MY ARSE! I'M GOING INTO THAT BUILDING RETECH!

If there is a skylight, I shatter it to distract the guards, wait for Kimako's next barrage, and then jump in and start slashing with my katanas. The last enemy I hit with my stun stick and remove the weapons from, stabbing him through the arms with my katanas. If there is no skylight, I go through whichever entrance they are not likely to be looking at, or a back window. Failing any of that, I wait until Kimako's men are reloading and swing down through the front window, getting in the middle of the enemies so that shooting at me would endanger their teammates, and then start slashing.

Wait, what faction are you in, Earth? And what about Mather?

I attempt to climb onto the roof of the building. If I succeed, I wave at Kimako and her men to assure that they know I'm on their side.

Careful, Jen, there might be supplies in there! Varius is careful to avoid fire, and attempts to get into the building stealthily and quietly.

I hide in the shadows, preparing to strike anyone who moves into the area (other than those wearing Duty uniforms) with a throwing knife.

Ok, just going to say something: I fell down a chute to get where I am. I am directly under the chute, and the roof is intact. I should be able to get out. I sit down, using geomancy to detect any nearby movement. I begin charging a geomancy spell. "Well, well, well. What to do now? Are you just going to let me die, never hearing my knowledge? Or are you dead yourselves? Either you show yourselves to me now, or I leave."
