  1. Emergency Exits is the best comic ever =b FEAR MY COOLNESS ENHANCER! IT MAKES THINGS GLOW OMINOUSLY!
  2. Took me a day to make my bar. Albeit at the end of a session.
  3. Accomodations and inebriation!
  4. What sort of reagent? Never understood what those were.
  5. I think we should all just ignore the golem. We can't kill it, and it's good for business. My business, at least.
  6. Could you use necromancy, ritualism, or Demonic Magic to summon a spirit directly into a golem, or perhaps use their lifeforce to create a crystal for the golem?

Planeteering basically isn't doing anything... Meh. Back to the drawing board, I can't think of a way to make that work. I really want a medeival, urban setting that allows for significant large scale management as well as individual adventure, and that isn't as completely ridiculous as Dungeoneering sometimes is. Dungeoneering would be enough, except for the fact that it sometimes lacks action despite it's relatively fast pace, and sessions aren't long/frequent enough.

I don't like battlesuits as a main form of combat. The soldiers will have access to transports and mechs and such things, kinda like BF2142.

Hm, I'm thinking Earth has become quarantined from the rest of the universe. Peace is kept throughout the globe by heavy military occupation, and conflicts are fought on separate planets by both volunteers and professional soldiers, and offworld conscripts and convicts as well as the descendants of convicts. Planets capable of sustaining human life are divided between Earthside factions according to their influence and power. Normal soldiers are highly paid to fight in these necessary conflicts, and prisoners can win their freedom through combat.
  10. The mages are dead, Mather. All but 20.

What I'm planning is a kind of planetside human vs human conflict, with the different characters on different sides of the conflict. I have to thank Archimage for the idea as well, what with the plans for a Hegemony story. All I need now is an idea for the backstory... though I don't really need one I suppose. Also, I will probably integrate some kind of faction system, thanks to Paul's massive success in 2025 with that concept. And the conflict will take place off of Earth. Okay, just thought of a possible backstory!

Sudden inspiration! Thank you, Mather! What do you think of something along the lines of the marines from James Cameron's Avatar? Nothing to do with the movie, but just that kind of general technology?

By classified, do you mean separated by classes? That's not what the word means. And I think, because of my general lack of historical knowledge and appreciation for reality, it will be an alternate universe.

I'm ready to play for a while, I suppose. But I really want a better idea... If anyone has something to recommend,do tell! I'm thinking of a game that is less fantastical and more realistic. One that takes place in more urban environments... And where you can be a true warrior, archer, assassin, alchemist, or whatever you want to be. I think sometimes magic spoils the purity and clarity of an environment.

Meh. I don't like this. See ya later! I leave, and head for the nearest neutral/friendly base to ask about melee weapons.

I try to detect enemies with my scope and by sound, and anything I see I run up to and stab with my hunting knives.

    Edit my post? Thanks.
  18. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Wait, I lost some of my throwing knives? How many do I have now? I look into the area with my thermal scope, then stealthily follow whatever path is apparent, scanning with my thermal scope as I go.
  19. I think all the characters should die in quick succession at the end. That creates strong emotion =b
  20. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
I patch myself and Enigma up. I then retrieve my knives and fade into the shadows, continuing the mission.
  21. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
I jump out of the shadows, tossing the rest of my knives, then take out my hunting knives and go into a whirlwind of blades.
  22. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
I sneak through the shadows toward the Monolithians. When I'm in range, I toss four of my ten throwing knives at them.
  23. Gotta go. I give reasonable control of my character to Hakon.
  24. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
I ask where another Duty outpost with access to such equipment is, whether I would be able to afford thermal goggles, and, if I can, I travel there. GTG for a sec. After I get my goggles, I go follow/help Enigma.
  25. Also, I'm still on it's shoulders as I toss the projectiles.
