  1. Can't you go to that village Grim discovered? It's freezing cold and the villagers seem like easy targets. I think it suits you, and it eliminates this particular conflict.
  2. If three people want to play, we can I suppose.
  3. I'm going to make a mine shaft in the back of my fortress. Who knows what secrets and wealth await me? :D I can even pay for mine workers using the money I make from the Inn. And they can have free accomodations! And protection from evil witches <_<
  4. Their families, friends, neighbors, and quite possibly Caster (providing it isn't destroyed by the golem... you might want to wait a bit before deactivating it, Kemios). What is your idea anyways Kemios? Earthsage... I do not approve of you practicing Necromancy and Transmogrification on my patrons. And you didn't say what your current abode is.
  5. Now to make faulty signs to confuse the travellers and get them to wander into the forest. :D Now to put wards on the road to prevent travelers from straying... Do you want all of Ikana, not to mention Paul, against you?
  6. Meh, I suppose you can be bartender when I'm gone, if I don't get an NPC bartender. By the way, where do you live in the game anyways? My Inn would probably make better accomodations, though less practical for practicing Necromancy...
  7. Your skeletons will STAY OUT OF MY BAR. Along with Jen. And is Divine Magic, involving God/The Gods possible, Ross?
  8. What's your idea, Kemios? And do I even want to hear yours, Jen?
  9. Meh. The search shall begin. If I ever find it, Grim, It will be kept a secret. And I won't be able to go looking for a while anyways, due to the fact that I have a bar to tend to. Besides, can't you sell me the shards? :)
  10. But Griiiiiiiiiiiiiiim, I want life shards :( I'd do anything!
  11. Jen, this is a simple, honest business. I need no scandals. I'll work out how to make the life drain thing work correctly, but I'm not using people without their consent. And Grim, what was that about an altar of life? Mind filling me in on the details, if not the location?
  12. Jen, I'm afraid I'll have to organize a witch hunt if you start messing with my clientele. And it looks like the life drain for a drink idea won't work. Gotta find another, morally acceptable source of life energy for my crystals. Maybe Earthsage could help me, but I don't think rumors about the bartender dealing with necromancers will be good for business. Perhaps I can create an artificial life source... Or perhaps use some sort of Divine or Healing Magic... Perhaps draw upon natural energy... I know, I can hunt with special quartz arrows that can store the lifeforce of the animals that I hunt for food! It's brilliant!
  13. Darnit, now I'm bored.
  14. Meh, why do people hate the prospect of a simple life drain? It's not like I'm kidnapping children... Come to think of it... Jen, STAY OUT OF MY BAR.
  15. Nexaduro goes to the stone sign he made earlier and changes it to say: Terrasten Inn now open! Rooms are currently under construction. A meal is 50 gold pieces Drinks are 30 gold pieces Workers needed - farmers, hunters/huntresses, miners, waiters/waitresses, glassmaker, bartender. Purchasing food & furniture, contact management for details. Immediate payment not needed/willing to accept a small, temporary, painless lifedrain as payment. He goes back to the Inn and stations the golems on either side of the door, they are not to attack anyone.
  16. Nexaduro checks the prices for ale and beer, then goes around asking the townsfolk if any of them would be interested in mining, hunting, glassmaking, farming, serving, or bartending work. He tells everyone he meats about his Inn, which will soon be open for business, and asks what they would like to see there. He puts up a few fliers advertising the Inn. If this is too many actions, can you make it take more than one turn?
  17. Nexaduro goes off towards Ikana with some of the wine bottles, going around and asking what he should price them at. He also looks at the prices for various items in taverns/pubs/bars/inns there, as well as the average cost of a night's stay.
  18. I continue trying to fine-tune the furnace, if it isn't already the right temperature for glass making. I then make a number of wine bottles from sand gained by geomancy, which I fill with wine via alchemy.
  19. If the furnace isn't built, I build it. I then attempt to create a permanent flame inside. I begin experimenting to see what temperature is needed to make wine bottles, and try to make the furnace heat go to the correct temperature.
  20. No, you need to swallow and burn the metal, Mather! =b Don't think that's how it works in Dungeoneering though...
  21. I hmph, then create another golem like the one I just made. I then create another door in the hallway beyond the bar door, with a mid-sized room inside containing a large furnace. I go outside and begin cutting down trees with blades of stone shooting from the ground.
  22. Oh, and since the page number mandates it - Don't Panic!
  23. When's today's session starting, Paul?
