Your lazy if you bot your runescape account while you go to work? Ok. A lazy Rs'er no doubt. A cheater and everything that goes with it. Botting breaks the economy more than it helps it. It gives undeserved wealth to some and encourages inflation (people with undeserved money tend to not care how much they pay for their items). totally agree with you, if no one ever started bots, how would you think runescape would be? i mean without them spending money to upgrade there ways to stop bots they wouldnt have to make by your standard crappy updates, if you think runescape is boring and botting is the only answer, GO PLAY ANOTHER GAME

having a robot do everything for you shows your lazy and when you havent learned anything, you can probably be tricked by almost anything and anyone

Or they are smart because they can multi-task. For all you know those people might be at work, gaining money to feed their families while their bot levels them so they can enjoy their off time more. They are getting further in life than you in this case. EDIT: People have botted SW for a week no breaks. Actually when you have public chat off you can't see anyone talk, you can however set it to "Hide" to show messages in your game screen but not in the chatbox. Also to make it clear, I do not approve of bots, but I do not care either. Maybe my posts implied that I was pro-botting but I am not. well when i said you stupid bots why are you boting, 2 of them responded boting? whos boting? thats all they said, so i know they heard me

right now im fishing at piscatoria or whatever its called, theres 3 bots here all lvl 100+ and even if they had there public off, they can still see me talking to them, unless right then they see me and add me to the ignore list, and they all go in the exact same place, they dont choose the obvious spot to fish at. they dont take my fish or anything but whats will we do when everything either goes up in price or goes down big time

The real question is, if you had a robot to do your homework would you have used it? I would have. From what the forums on there say, people have botted Soul Wars 24 hours a day for a week and didn't get caught. <-- Jamflex's anti-macroing at work there. i wouldnt want to have a robot do my homework, becuase then your gunna fail at test and your gunna know nothing of the real life or the work life

I wish I could get a program to play a game for me, because as you astutely pointed out Runescape requires me to sit around my house all day while botters, I assume such as yourself, are out getting all the hot chix and drinking bacardis and having sweet rave parties and greeting other people by doing that thing where you point both of your fingers like guns and go "pshew pshew" like the sound guns make, and then you go beat the [cabbage] out of some nerds because math is for [bleep]s, and it's the only way for you to assert yourself over those losers with no social lives. I get the feeling howbadisbad is going to pull a BloodArgon, and we'll see a post from him in the "I got banned" thread explaining how he's quitting after his umpteenth macro account got banned. But hey, at least in the meantime you've managed to put dem nurds in their place, right? Because Jamflex is poor because their income has taken a hit over the years of these crappy updates. Hints to they are poor: 1. Raising of subscription prices 2. Runefest ticket prices are over 9000 (even though they claim they aren't making profit :rolleyes: ) 3. Crappy, poorly designed/ half completed updates needing complete reworking 4. And now, temp bans, so they can get their subscription moneysss Obviously the company is at fault for wrecking their own income that they have to rely on such measures now. have you seen what jagex has to put up with? they have to deal with bots, make updates, and fix glitches and etc. i would love to see you be put in there shoes and pull that one off edit: yes they did kinda mess up in the beginning but thats human, have you seen one person that doesnt have a flaw or hasnt done something bad, people DO learn from there mistakes

On-topic, I have some friends on my list who have told me they are botting, and honestly I couldn't care at all. what happens when they start taking your kills and start taking the resources your trying to get? You become stronger or move to a spot where bots cannot go (GWD bosses). You use the money obtained from the no-bot-zones to buy the resources you would have gathered yourself because it is much cheaper that way. tbh, I have no idea what the true argument against botters is... Just because you sit around in your house all day to gain pixels while the other (botting person) gains their pixels but is able to maintain a social life, doesn't make it bad. You just sound jealous because other people have to work less for their pixels. Risk = Reward ~ And apparently Jamflex is terrible at catching bots and gives them temp bans for it. Not much risk to your account tbh. Ever thought that maybe those people are botting so they can get to a point where they can have more fun without having to do the boring part? (Like botting combat to pvp because pvp is fun in their eyes and grinding is not) It is good for all non-nubs economically.... ??? i mean this is kinda like real life, you have to work to get better, the things you want, having bots do the work for shows where your gunna go in life...

i dont get it, why do you think in anyway, botting is right? and i mean right not becuase they bring raw materials low at price, becuase all i see thats what good comes from the bots.and about the chinning and butterflies thing, what happens when they get smart enough for that stuff?

and for your question. bots are becoming more and more. you start seeing them in lots of places. and sooner or later there gunna be at your favorite place. then what are you gunna do about it? edit:when jagex stopped catchingbot or if not. people are gunna think its ok to use bots. then youll start seeing bots everywere. you would probably see 10 bots in any city you go to. and then what happens when they learn to play minigames. just one time you play a game that are all bots. theyll all be wc anywere and everywere, mining everywere, hunting at all places, killing all the monsters, then what will we do? edit again: ya its kinda good that prices are so low but what happens when everything is priced really low an other prices realy high it would make it impossible for beginners to get any money cuz normal logs are 1gp like willow logs oak logs maple logs. the econmy could possibly go heywired and if no one ever started botting we wouldnt have these discussoins
