I would just use the card. It's only like $6.00 USD for a month, which is close to the price you pay with a credit/DEBIT card. I'm not sure what that is equal to in Canadian currency though.

Perhaps this person is a skiller. Just because they have high stats and others not ranked doesn't make them a bot. You have no evidence to back this claim up.

This would be a great addition to the website, however, finding out the information would be extremely hard. I'm not even sure if there is a real formula for it, and if there is, I applaud the person who deciphers it. I'm not saying this is impossible though. It would just take a lot of work, and it's something that we don't really have time to put effort in right now. ;)

If I remember correctly the Lava Titan provides an invisible boost to the Mining skill. Not one that would allow you to mine ores you wouldn't normally be able to get.
