A Life Orb Starmie's HP Fire does 91.9% - 109.3% to Escavalier. It sometimes OHKO's, but the fact that it doesn't always is pretty amazing. When I used one it almost always netted me one kill a match due to its resistances and powerful CB Megahorn. If your opponent runs Specs Latios/any Reuniclus, then it is always a kill. Anti-meta and powerful as hell.

Well I am currently trying out a set of (no sarcasm): Denchura/Galvantula - Thunder - Bug Buzz - Energy Ball - Hidden Power Ice Life Orb 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid I also tried a Shubarugo yesterday (bug/steel thing) and it is amazing. All you need is Megahorn and Pursuit, with a Choice Band and this thing is a wrecking ball. It can 2HKO Scizor (a resisted hit on a fairly bulky Poke) and can survive an HP Fire from LO Starmie. Thing is a monster.

Alright, I posted a suggestion. It's a more conventional Rotom-W set, so it's predictable in that sense, but I believe it helps your team as the only thing you really miss out on are some resistances Steel gives you and Wish support. Up to you though as your team is obviously working out for you lol.

You're over-simplifying it. Yes, both have high defense, but if you EV Blissey in Def like all should, then it can take a lot more hits defensively. EV's raise a stat by a specific number, not a certain percentage, so defense EV's are very noticable on Bliss, and with it's massive HP it can take a load of punishment. Yes, Cress has access to stalling moves, but so does Bliss, and Blissey's are better than Cress's (Wish/Softboiled as opposed to Moonlight, both get T-wave and Toxic). Entry hazards don't matter when you can heal the damage off reliably, which Blissey can but Cress can't if there's weather on the field (and that's very common nowadays). A CB Tyranitar using Pursuit does 399 - 471 HP to a Blissey that's switching, which is 55.9% - 66% of it's HP. How is it dead by any Pursuit? A CB Machamp Mach Punch (it doesn't learn Mach Punch, but it has a sky high attack boosted by Choice Band, so it's a reasonable comparison) does even less damage than a Tyranitar CB Pursuit. Granted, Blissey can't stall it out, but it isn't even close to a OHKO. The only reason Cress isn't used is because it's set-up bait (it CAN toxic stall, but other than that it isn't doing anything), and it can't reliably recover outside of Moonlight (33% IIRC in Sandstorm/Rain) and rest. Honestly, in this metagame, the best bet for Cress is to go max defense and HP and boost with CM, and even then Reuniclus does that better with access to Recover, Magic Guard, and higher special attack. It can also possibly stall better with Ninetails to keep sun on the field, making Moonlight heal 66% IIRC. Other than that, it's just outclassed due to every fighting type having either U-turn, Payback, or stat boosting move.

Psycho Shock does have a use against other CM abusers. You will stomp them outright with CM abuse in most cases, then Psycho Shock for the OHKO or 2HKO. I prefer to not let any Poke set up, but I mean, if a Virizion is trying to set up CM's and you have a Deoxys/Froslass/fast bug thing setting up spikes and you know you have a Latios/Latias with Psycho Shock, it would be beneficial. Seems oddly specific, but then again I rarely play stall so it may come up more than I think.

Honestly I'd argue that the game is physically oriented BECAUSE of Blissey/Chansey. Psycho Shock is only worthwhile to hit Blissey and Chansey. And Demoli, do you want a bump/rate on your RMT that you posted a few days ago? I don't normally post on any because I feel like I change people's teams to fit my play-style, but I do have slight nitpicks such as your Jirachi set/Rapid Spin on Dory.

I'm assuming it's the same logic as Drizzle vs Swift Swim. This person would rather ban Sand Stream than Sand Throw. But yes, the nominations for the most part are stupid, besides the Drizzle or Swift Swim suggestion (one or the other, IMO should be Swift Swim), Manaphy, and possibly stuff like Latios/Latias (which is debatable).

Scarf Jirachi has U-Turn, steel typing, fast speed (although no priority), and can use a physical set. It is weak to ground however, but 2 ground weaknesses isn't crippling if you have a lot of immunities/resists (my current team has one Poke weak to ground, 3 immune, and one resistant just by pure chance). Gliscor is about the closest thing to a physical wall that meets a good number of your specifications, but it has no priority. Flygon meets some of your needs, but I find Flygon really underwhelming this gen. I was using a Life Orb Kojondo for a while, and it's fairly bulky (can take a neutral hit and fire back, but that's about it) with Regeneration, and it can use priority, although it might not help with synergy.

Victreebel/sun in general is a pain to face without Heatran. It's very under rated IMO. But you're right in that there are less sand abusers than rain abusers. Probably helps as well that something like Bronzong (OTR Bronzong is a monster this metagame) and Skarmory completely wall Dory/Landlos, effectively ruining sand. Some would argue that that's over centralizing in itself. I also saw a suggestion to ban Swift Swim which also is intriguing. IDK, I'm kind of conservative when it comes to banning as I find it more fun to handicap myself and find solutions rather than ban something.
-
I've heard the argument though that with rain gone, Sandstorm would then be overpowered and we'd be back to square one wanting sand stream, Doryuuzu, Landlos, etc. banned, which makes sense to me. A Manaphy ban I completely understand and agree with.

 Ok well BK is edible, but the food's a little overpriced. Can't say, their O-rings are fairly tasty though... That's what Whopper Wednesdays are for.

There seems to be no real defense in the generation at all. It depends on reliable recovery moves of course, but the only real amazing wall I see from this generation will be Nattorei (#598). Base 89 HP, 94 Atk, 131 Def, 116 Sp Def. It has good stats in all of the right places, so hopefully GF didn't screw us too badly (the dark/fighting type seems to be defensive with amazing offensive STAB typing >.<). Desukan (#563) looks decent as well for a defensive Poke as long as it has access to recovery. There seems to be a real absence of decent special attackers, which proves just how attack-based this metagame will be. The only ones that jump out at me are Zoroark, Agirudaa (#617) and Shanderaa (#609). I also didn't take a look at anything that was legendary as legendaries are based more around move pool, and their tiers will be based around that. Also glad that it looks like Zeburaika is going to be a different Infernape. Is going to have a U-turn like electric move, 116 base speed, 100 base attack. Not too shabby, although the electric squirrel let me down. Going to be a very offensive metagame unless they nerfed something else I'm not aware of.

I love both Iron Maiden and Metallica, but come on, you just can't compare the two, and it's very hard to call one more over rated than the other. Metallica: Early stuff is godlike. Older stuff is decent, not great. There are some good songs on Load and Reload, despite popular opinion. If they had made only one album and just combined the two, IMO it would have sold more copies than Black. Yes, Metallica did change after Cliff died. And Death Magnetic is better than people on this topic are giving credit for. If you have an issue with how it was recorded, go on Youtube and listen to live performances of the songs. Iron Maiden: I love Maiden, but it seems there are more Maiden lovers than haters. Metallica haters are using the logic that Cliff died ruined Metallica, and there is no denying that the sound vastly changed, but what was Maiden when Bruce decided he'd go solo? They weren't exactly putting out top material. Out of their recent stuff, Dance of Death is amazing, A Matter of Life and Death.... not so much.

That's like saying a Christian church is honouring Hitler. No, Hitler didn't do what he did for Christianity. And obviously these Al'Queda terrorists did it solely because Allah told them to in a dream, right?

Unless it's something very competitive like standard OU or UU then it should be a short tournament. I voted for bracket.

As soon as I saw this topic I instantly thought of Iago from Shakespeare's Othello, but that's not a video game. Cyrus from Pokemon is definitely up there. I was almost sick when I was reading team Magma and Aqua's text, that Cyrus' logic and intellect was quite refreshing. Cortex from Crash Bandicoot is a fun one, although really quite incompetent when it seems like Uka Uka was the real villain. Ganon is also pretty cool. I also like Ridley from Metroid Prime.

Theft isn't that big of a deal compared to strangling someone. It's the loss of a possession versus the loss of a human life. alright, let me revise that: don't steal if you don't know how to get out of a headlock. solution to not getting choked: don't look suspicious. I'm pretty sure getting out of a headlock when you have security guards stopping you is more suspicious than tapping on someones arm. Don't be an idiot. My comment on the video: To any of the trolls or just morons: the justice system is based around the believe that you are innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. You don't choke and nearly kill someone because they MAY be a shoplifter, you prove they are one, and then PROPER action can be taken. Absolutely despicable the way they handled this. You see the guy tapping, he's obviously not resisting, he just wants to breath. That is universal. who cares? if you are in average shape, you can easily outrun some obese, hollister- patrolling security guard If you're innocent, why would you run? Resisting arrest means you're guilty. I'll say it again: don't be an idiot.
