  1. Play more then one free game, to change things up. Knight Online is what I play when I get tired of RS.
  2. For a second, I thought you were describing Tip.it there... What do you think Tip.it is besides the Runescape community (for the most part)? :P A party system is needed. It would be nice to see something that would encourage people to work with one another more, like the party system. Castle Wars touched on team work, but no one really listens to anyone when there. People literally costing their team a win by destroying the barricades really isn't what I call teamwork. The way RS is set up right now, I just don't see anything solving the problem. People still wont care to work with others, and I don't think anyone would really want to because they know what training on RS is like. Just easier going to some other game, like I probably will preminently after this themed month is over. I've come to the conclusion that if there is a theme next month not based on POHs, I'm gone.
  3. Guthix almost has to be like a Jekyll and Hyde. He is the God of balance after all. So in a sense he will do things against both the forces of good and evil to keep things fair in the land.
  4. Zaros wasn't killed for one. To add more to Guthix awakening... myself and Veiva discussed this all in a thread that still remains on the first page. We came to the conclusion that Saradomin and Zamorak formed an alliance to get rid of Zaros. After they did that the two turned on one another. This is when Guthix woke up and I suppose cast a spell to prevent all Gods from walking the land of Runescape (thus ending the carnage). No one exactly knows who the bother's represent. Right now they could represent Guthix, Sradomin, Zaros, or even Guthix. And the "Storysnake" isn't a snake, it is a Serpent. Too many theorys can be made right now, the lore just isn't complete enough to get a complete conclusion. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=255321
  5. Getting constant sex changes because you like to start a "freak show" conga line.
  6. Motivation is key in anything, but like cars... some of us tend to run out of gas a lot sooner then others. Which is why I probably don't find myself playing RS as often any more. In order to keep intrest peaked, I think most sane people need to keep balanced by playing at least two (if not more) games. Especially when you've played RS as long as I have. A friend of mine just introduced me to a game called Knights online, and thats keeping me pretty much content for right now. I even made a mill in currency already on Knights, something I'd probably never be able to do on RS as a noob in a week (let alone 2 days). Runescape has a lot of things other games don't, but in return other games have what RS lacks. Like Group training, theres no interaction amoungst players on RS so much. Yet I noticed on Knights and even Star Wars Galaxies... you can literally group with other players and make training easier, faster, and more enjoyable in some cases. I think if Jagex could work in group training... motivation would be something easier to have. Being a lone wolf on these games is hard on players.
  7. Adding negative attack bonuses to Range and Mage armor wouldn't effect the defense bonuses of the armor (obviously). It just means that when wearing mage or range armor... you wouldn't be able to hit well with a melee weapon. Just like if you cast a magic spell wearing full rune, you more then likely wont hit.
  8. It's ruining the Triangle. Mages Can't kill meleers because they can just switch to Dragonhide armour and it doesn't effect how they hit. Say it was a Mage Vs Mage. If one of the mages switched to Dragonhide armour they wouldn't hit. Melee Vs Mage. Mage is winning, so Melee switches to Dragonhide armour, preventing the Mage from hitting while the melee can still attack and not be effected. Its not ruining it, if a meleer wanted to avoid magic, they could just as easily take off their armor. Can things be added to the armors to fix this? Maybe, but I wouldn't say its ruining it. Just add negative melee bonuses on the Mage and Range armor, problem solved.
  9. And back on RSC Mages could wear full rune, God Cape, and God staff and basically own. Same with Rangers. Your point?
  10. So that explains why people make account names saying things like "I eat children"... hmmm... Thats not a bad idea... Never exactly thought of it that way. Pretty funny in a way too. On topic: I don't exactly have a favorite, although I do find the accounts that say "99 Ranger" to be funny, especially if you catch them while they're still training to get 99 Range. Funny and sad all at the same time.
  11. Not exactly true about the Med Table... You have to have real good defense and armor in order to get out of there. People notice you there and do tend to dog pile. If you were to have one round where you really got nailed... you could die at the Med Table. I've seen it happen enough times to know. And yes... the most I ever got hit with a rock is like 14 or 15. Also another nice little tid bit about the med packs is... they cure poison. So poisoned daggers have little to no effect when you have a full load of meds.
  12. My guide basically explains almost every method you could use as far as defense and offense goes. It also includes some of the stuff he has mentioned, didn't really get into as much detail as he did with the catapult... but I did send in an e-mail to tip.it linking them to mine in hopes that maybe they would use it. I would've posted it on these forums but I broke the sections down into separate posts because I was exceeding my 10 KB per post limit in some of the areas. :-D
  13. I noticed that you don't have all the stats on the items, so here they are. Actually made a Guide for my clan on our forums, need to revise it all now though cause of the new update today.
