  1. But who's to say it isnt that? I really doubt Jagex has been planning this new monster since the release of rs2... Um... who said they even were? The cave entrance could easily lead to the new monster. Jagex could've just as easily been struggling for ideas as to where to put it, and decided to place it there. That might not be the case, but theres no reason to shoot down the idea.
  2. How useful and good the weapon is will be the determining factor whether the new monster will be a success or not. If the item is what I think it is... And its anything like the Hachet... The area will fail miserably. That item I'm thinking it will be is the Pic Axe. If its the Two Hander... or any other legit weapon... the area could be a big thing. It really depends on what decision Jagex has made for the monster drop list. As for what the monster will even be... At first I was under the impression that it would just be one big could of smoke (which would be a rip off from the TV series "Lost"). Thats my thought at least. Other ideas could be anything having do do with a smoke concept. Smoke Giant, Smoke Dragon, Smoke Demon, or anything like that sounds accurate to me.
  3. Obviously the smithing table doesn't apply to Dragon items. If that would have been the case... the very first dragon item would have been the dagger. Theres nothing wrong with the way they have the drag items being dropped. Chain is most definitly the better looking part of the drag armor. So obviously it should be more expensive.
  4. I like how they threw this new monster in multi combat wilderness. Definitly seems as though there wont be any possible safe spots there. And if there is... you can kill the silly person that is trying to solo.
  5. *shrugs* Had some moron call me a noob the other day just for standing around and ignoring him. Was doing a large rune chest puzzle and didn't really wanna be bothered, but every time I would get on to do a puzzle... I was bound to get one person that just had to attempt to engage a conversation with me. Even when I made it obvious that I just wanted to be left alone and have some peace and quiet.
  6. The worst I've ever had is IDE Cables being reversed and maybe a few wiring issues as stated by someone else above. Nothing that would damage anything, but pretty common and easily made mistakes. Another common problem would be trying to make certain devices masters and others slaves to those masters. I would have to agree with your friend. Rarely does anyone ever build or rebuild a system without making at least one mistake. The defective part deal I would disagree with, but I can see why she would say that. She basically added that statement to further establish the point that its extremely rare to ever not encounter a problem. I have yet to run into anything defective, however... I have encountered devices that don't last nearly as long as expected.
  7. Alright, so my Windows OneCare Status is "At Risk" (literally in the red), when I run tune-up it goes through everything, but when it finishes it tells me that I'm not connected to the internet and it cannot download any updates as a result of that. Thing is... I am connected to the internet, because I am on here as I speak and my mother is on the same network and I just ran tune-up on her system without any problems. When I go to check for updates manually... the link is entirely grey. I can't click on it at all. I've tried restarting and it still isn't cooperating. And I'm beginning to think that reinstalling is maybe my only other choice. Was hoping someone had some other suggestions that they could offer me before I go through the trouble of going through all this rubbish again. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: Nevermind. Problem fixed itself, basically. Just must have been stubborn and thought I wasn't connected to the internet, when I clearly was. A mod or admin can lock this if they want.
  8. Pretty old news. Pretty sure anyone who has done up to Mourning's End Part 1 would know this. As people before me have already said.
  9. Super restores always restore one more point than prayer pots, no matter what. If you use a holy wrench in conjuction with a super restore pot it will increase the amount restored as well. Thanks for the heads up. I was under the impression that the wrench only worked on prayer pots.
  10. I knew they restored prayer, I just didn't know how much. Back when they made the announcement about it... the description had me under the impression that it restored less then prayer pots. Of course... now with the Holy Wrench... I'm sure prayer pots are slightly better. I just dunno at what level (lower then 75 assuming that is w/o the wrench).
  11. GL Well... if you get addicted to WOW... you could call it WOWCRACK. *shrugs*
  12. Why don't you read the description? It clearly stated that it was felt... not paper. all the same... and im not good at english Not exactly. And you don't have to be good at English to know the difference between plain old paper and felt. The materials in which both are created from are totally different. Felt, if I recall correctly, is much softer and can be more difficult to cut then paper.
  13. Loved it up until the blasted the Pez Despenser and Star Wars stuff. I'd never buy that stuff on Ebay, but at a general store I would (just so happens I have a collection of Star Wars Pez Despensers). Its was even more funny that the song was a parody of a Backstreet Boys song.
  14. Yeah, I suppose most of the "seeds of intrest" would really be the tree seeds and the rarer herbs. But even at my level, which is 71, I could manage to get some herbs seeds and some special seeds. Thats really the only thieving related thing I can think of that would be an effective way of making money.
  15. Well I'm not a lvl 99 thiever, but I'd imagine that maybe you could make some money thieving seeds off farmers. The Exp is "ok", could prolly get better results else where, but the seeds you could probably sell for money. Could be wrong, I haven't really been following prices so much. Theres bound to be people needing seeds though that don't want to waste time thieving them. Thats my 2 cents at least.
  16. Oi, where do I begin... First of all... lets handle that last foolish part there. You're not allowed to sell your time because its Jagex's account. Maybe you should read the entire agreement rather then only parts you want to read. When you make an account, you agree that the account is property of Jagex. That means you can simply get banned for absolutely no reason. They are basically dictators. And they should and have to be so its not like thats a bad thing. Second... you really sound extremely full of yourself. Don't really care if it was you who made it or not, but first you babble on about how you're gonna lower the prices next time... to IF it sells you'll put more up. Whereas what you're really trying to say is... "If I have nothing better to do, and mommy and daddy don't catch me... I'll be selling more 'jokes' and piss myself some more". And believe me... no one is jealous of you. I'm sure there was someone who thought of the idea long before you. It probably just went unrecognized. So don't act as if what you did was extremely origional. I'm sure I have images taken long ago that state otherwise. People have been making gag images of rare items and such for the longest of times. So yeah... you're basically just another kid who has nothing better to do really. Thats my conclusion. That, and since you already touched on it, you probably aren't even the guy who made the auction. Which makes you an even bigger moron.
  17. Its kind of hard to hit people up for scamming though when the trade is to be conducted in the wilderness. As long as the person actually has what they claim to be trading, you can't even consider it a scam. And even if its extremely obvious that someone was set up... you can hardly prove that the killer even had any connection with the person that was making the trade. They could just as easily claim that they were passing by and saw a easy target. And the person making the trade (the non victim) could just act completely dumb founded and pretend as if he had absolutely no clue as to what had just happened. And if he was real smart... he could simply play the role of a survivor and act as if he was next on the list (depending on level differences). And if running away wouldn't have proven anything, he could've easily made comments to the attacker to make it seem as if he wanted to make a legit trade. So yeah... real hard to claim something is a scam based on what could only really be considered as hear say. The only way you can prove you were scammed is if the player(s) say something that incriminates themselves. EDIT: Its really no different if you see someone with low hits and is poisoned. And offer them a cure poison, but stall long enough for the person to drop. It can't be considered scamming because they have absolutely no clue if you were going to actually give them the cure potion or not. There are many other examples, that one just stands out the most.
  18. Did you know that is the exact same estimate that about 4 different people have all said? Very nice 8) Guess thats a good thing then. Honestly haven't seen anyone else's predictions, but its real simple to figure out. Mith - Addy: Strength increases by 13 Addy - Rune: Strength increases by 26 So naturally, one would think that the strength increase between Dragon and Rune would be 39, since the difference seems to increase by 13. Same rule applies for the Slash Attack Bonus. I dunno what the deal was with the Crush Attack Bonus... the made that one kind of hard to predict, so I could be off by about 5 on that one (its real hard to tell).
  19. I needed something to do, so I went and compiled your information even further. There are patterns that jagex make to easily make future weapons slightly predictable to guess. And this fact really rings true when it comes to Two Handed Swords. The only real inconsistency I found was in the Crush Attack bonus, which could easily be guessed based on what info was given. And based on all that... Here is my prediction on the Dragon 2H stats: Hope this helps someone determine whether this item will be worth it or not. I'm not saying its 100% accurate, but its probably extremely close.
  20. I'd love to buy every ranaar you grow for 2k each  they sell for more like 5-6k to be honest But I dont think anyone yeilds an average of 10-15 each harvest , nor any harvest at all Probably depends on levels and luck. I was lucky to ever get 8 from one harvest, herb wise. Usually averaged about 6, I'd say.
  21. Thats over exagerated. Plus you probably wont recall, but you were the moron who claimed that I love to give English lessons on this forum. Claiming I correct people when they misspell something, which isn't even close to true. EDIT: Looking over my sent items, yeah... you've been a down right jerk to me. Figured I could give a little something back. I don't forget that easily. If you need your memory refreshed, I'll be more then happy to fill you in further.
  22. Well... lets think about this for a moment... If you are in a duel, in the arena... What exactly is it that you should be doing? Its obviously not called the Al Kharid Alch Arena. The place is for dueling. Thats what you should be doing. So that part of your complaint was a foolish and pointless one, IMHO. Now... the leaning thing I'm slightly split on, but you come off as an extreme drama queen when you say that Jagex has "ruined alching". Oh, so its ruined simply because you can't lean and alch? Please... get over it. You can still alch while spectating, leaning over the wall doesn't improve the view by that much. So yeah... guess that part of your complaint is pretty pointless as well. I can't believe some of the things you people choose to whine over... Then again... You always did have a habit of making false claims and what not. Guess complaining about silly things such as this is right up your ally.
  23. That and we ALL know that even though R2 might sell his felt hats for 15 cents less... He prolly buys them back at an even lower price and then resells them for more. OHHHHHHHH!
  24. And thats basically how you have to go about it. Just learn from your mistakes and move on from it. Could've been a lot worse.
  25. Why don't you read the description? It clearly stated that it was felt... not paper.
