Castle Wars Ownage
Erm... thats not ownage either dude... Ownage is when you like win by like... oh I dunno... a lot of points. Winning by one point is so totally not ownage. For all you know, the person carrying your team flag could have been seconds away from scoring as well. So yeah... the only way something is "ownage" is if you most definitly have something won. In which case, in both scenarios, the person didn't. Not ownage, nice story, dunno why some of these other guys have their thumb up their bums, and have a nice day!

So angry, new scam/bug abuse
This is why all main trades are done in a bank or in Fally Park (World 2). Why people keep thinking that the wilderness is a place to conduct business is really beyond me. Not gonna be rude and call you stupid or anything like these other morons... but really... how silly/foolish can ya get? Especially when there was a bank not that far away. It was obvious that you were set up. It could've probably been avoided too, even after you were attacked. BUt for some reason... I think you might have panicked and just kept clicking when what you should have done was use the prayer "protect from magic"... if you could use it. You just learned a very valuable lesson though.

Something i just noticed...
...yeah, so I've made a mission to like take a screenshot of every "True" banner I see on this forum/site. Does that make me a pervert? And since when was being a pervert ever a bad thing? Hmmm... so what makes a pervert anyways? Some of us wouldn't be perverts if it weren't for the fact that some women tend to dress too sexy in public... Sex is in. Sex sells. So we're perverts for admiring hot women, their bodies, and catching examines that imply that of a sexual nature... Well... if starting a collection of the True banners makes me a pervert, I say rock on. I'll let my girlfriend know, but for some odd reason I think she might already know.

Just When You Thought Uve Seen Everything On Ebay...
lol... what exactly is it that you're on? Because I'd like to get hooked up on it. Its not illegal to sell a party hat on Ebay. Even if it is the actual in game item. Its just against Jagex's rules to sell the items. And selling real life items that reflect in game items isn't illegal either. They can't even get the person for using the name "party hat". Because its not even close to intellectual property. Seeing as though there are numerous things in this world that can be called a party hat.

Just When You Thought Uve Seen Everything On Ebay...
You're not suppose to post real life pictures of yourself on these forums. Might wanna remove the image. This topic is more then likely going to be locked anyhow, but yeah... Just a little friendly advice.

Just When You Thought Uve Seen Everything On Ebay...
*shrugs* Theres nothing wrong or out of the ordinary about it to me. It comes off as a joke/gag, but if the guy was serious I wouldn't knock on him. Its no different if people make South Park hand puppets (which I have seen in local town arts and crafts shows) or any other special clothing for action figures and/or dolls. Some person just having fun at their own expense (even though the listing fee was probably dirt cheap). So let them have their fun. EDIT: Also would like to point out that I cannot comprehend why some of you people openly admit to looking up Runescape items on Ebay. Whether you're intentions are to cheat or not isn't the point. It can easily be seen as though you were implying it.

New baked potato heals 22!
Well... I'm a guy who can fish shark, and obviously if my mind set is that the potatoes should heal more... there is bound to be someone else who thinks that. Lets face it... half the people that complain have no knowledge as to what they are even complaining about to begin with. And thats yet another problem with most people. It all goes back to the fact that people don't take time into consideration. Personally, I would do the potatoes if they were worth while doing. They just simply aren't considering all the work and time taken into it. Thats the only thing that is really keeping me from bothering with it. And I have the open option of fishing everything and I can cook up to Sea Turtles I believe. And game balance is everything, I agree. The HP it heals just isn't balanced though.

New baked potato heals 22!
I doubt it,swordfish heals more then lobs but more people still use lobs on f2p lol u drunk? sharks=p2p I think the question you should be asking is... Are YOU, yourself, drunk? His comparison made perfect sense.

New Random?
I actually think it looks better too. *shrugs* Then again... I enjoy looking at the chicks on those dating banners too. I can never get enough images of sex and clevage on one site... Did I say that out loud...? :o :-X go to any search engine with images and knock yourself out! anyways, i remmber about a month ago there was a topic called 'help the color blind!!!' or something....does jagex searc thtis site or somin'? It was brought up on their forums too, I believe. They made changes to it origionally, but apparently the changes they made didn't show decent enough results. This new look seems like it will work, but I honestly wouldn't know. To be color blind has to be a huge downer. I feel sorry for anyone who has it. BTW... I was referring to those truth advertisement banners on this forum.

"the Strange Box anti-macro event"
I know it was added to be an anti macro but as u can see in jagex random manual they dont call it that way. And about the vines... Imagine.... ....Running away from a pker and getting the vines. ....Doing the tunnel part of MM quest on your pure being damaged all the time and getting the vines. ....Making nats through abyss getting the vines next tp all those little bugs in there. Anyways endless reasons I could think of to remove them even though I didn't play RS until after the vines. Two words: Tele runes If someone dies in wild because of a vine, I'd laugh. The other reasons you listed were bad ones. In all the instances, you should have tele runes with you at all times anyways. Not only that... but there is such a thing called prayer.

New baked potato heals 22!
I think the people who care about time obviously out weigh the people who don't. And what do you think these potatoes will be after making maybe just 100 or so of them? Its going to be "routine boringness" as well, and you'll have a lot less potatoes then you'd probably have shark. I like the effort Jagex is making, but even with the exp that was stated (if true)... it probably wouldn't be worth it. So you're whole better experience theory is thrown out the window right there as well. And the healing reward isn't even close to impressive. You'd think that something that took that much time and effort would at least headl 25, 26, or 28. They're a lot easier to get then Mantas... I'll give it that much... but whether you like it or not... time is everything to most people. You wouldn't see some lvl 101 poking at a swarm of imps when they could be slashing away at Fire Giants. So why you would suggest that someone would take over double the time to get maybe an extra 100 exp (roughly) is beyond me as well. I really don't even see why people who can't cook sharks would bother with this. It would be completely mind boggling if they did. I'm sure they could probably even benefit more by doing lobs or swordys.

The New Harpie Swarms
Just because you don't understand my point that doesn't mean it makes no sense. The new potatoes have a use in that they allow much lower leveled people access to making food with healing that before was exclusive to high levels. It's a very useful update for smaller players. I meant worthless in the context of having a value to the game, not any one player in particular. Maybe you should reread what I said then. Because I recall stating that this is only useful for those people who can't fish/cook sharks. And that I'm positive of. Which still would make this update useless. barihawk: Experience is pointless really. The amount of exp you get in comparison to the time it takes probably isn't worth it anyways. Thats my prediction at least. And I haven't seen any numbers that say otherwise, yet. A new option is great, but fish will probably always be the best. SImply because there isn't a whole lot involved in it. EDIT: If yous wanna argue with me more... Go here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=2620842#2620842 I'd rather not keep discussing something off topic on this thread. Its not exactly fair to those who are here to read about what the topic suggests. I just thought I'd say my piece about this update as a whole. Wasn't expecting this to turn into an off topic debate. EDIT2: Either go there, or PM me.

New baked potato heals 22!
Exactly my thoughts. Just to get the supplies alone is time consuming enough. You could probably have well over 1k sharks by the time you had made 1k of these new potatoes. The amount in which you are getting healed for these need to be increased much more if Jagex expects people to actually use them as a serious food to train with. Right now... All that work just for two extra HP just isn't worth it. If you got six or eight extra hits healed out of it... it would maybe be a different story. I'd stick to sharks. EDIT: This potatoe just seems like another Ugthanki Kebab deal. Everyone will be interested in them for maybe a couple days... Then the people who are making them will just simply get tired of doing it.

The New Harpie Swarms
When you get full rune, all the worse armour is pretty pointless (except for the occational use when you dont want to risk your rune). Does that mean that all the lower armour is worthless? Yes... actually it would. lol Think about what you just said there. The "worthless" armor is simply expendable, which would be why you would use it. Obviously... you can't compare armor to food. Those are two really different subject matters anyways. Not only that, but your point makes absolutely no sense.

"the Strange Box anti-macro event"
It is what it is though... There wouldn't be any random events if it weren't for macroing. Same as there wouldn't have been a fatique system in RSC if it weren't for macros. If anything, its a smart move on their part. They're letting people know that they are taking action to prevent cheaters. And calling something what it truely is can never be a bad thing. Anyone with some common sense should have known that the random events were added completely because of macroers. Whats sad is... The tangle vines were probably the best anti-macro event... yet some people were silly enough to panic and run away from them, instead of standing still till they vanish. Which basically caused an uproar which ended up leading to the removal of that event.

The New Harpie Swarms
Yes, but the thing is... Thats the only good thing that came out of it... One whole item that heals 22 HP (2 HP more then Sharks), but takes probably twice as long to get. Its nice for farmers and cookers who can't fish and cook Sharks... but thats about it. Once you get up to fishing sharks... I would say that this is maybe kind of pointless. Considering all the work it would take to just get enough supplies gathered for a batch of 1k potatoes. Then all the clicking it takes to make the final product... really not worth it. If the HP healed more, that it would make a difference in comparison to sharks... I could see it, but that just isn't the case. To get two extra hit points healed doing ALL THAT WORK... This is hardly the best update. Thats the problem with some people. You see a number (that being 22). And it sounds great. You don't factor in the work it takes to get the actual product. On topic: Adding yet another low level slayer monster seems almost pointless to me. The rate they're going... they might as well have a slayer monster assigned to the first thirty levels in that skill (if they can even think up that many).

RS2 Beta Bug
That, or it was just a failed attempt at trying to be funny. Or he ment to reply to an already existing topic and accidently made a new one.

A theory on champ scrolls....
Apparently... some of yous can't comprehend what the word THEORY means. By no means was he suggesting that what you wear/weild makes a difference. He was simply asking for people to look into it to see if it does factor in. Theres nothing silly about it. Infact, it makes perfect sense. Its just a matter of whether its actually implemented in or not.

Shark Cooking
Well... The fail rate at lvl 94 could easily be so small that it would almost be impossible to fail, yet it still happen to someone sometime. If anything... it would just help confirm that lvl 95 is the definite level that you no longer will fail... with lvl 94 being the level that you barely ever fail, but could still burn like one in a million. Thats the way I see it at least, its still good info either way though.

Emergency Help ASAP!
Almost sure you have to accept any incoming files, even with something as crappy as AIM. So I wouldn't piss myself just because some 13 year old you call a friend lays claim to the possibility of "hacking" you. If it didn't happen within an hour of him revealing himself... chances are its more then likely false. That and people who go around and do this stuff aren't that dumb enough to let you in on their intentions, before or after the fact. So yeah... more then likely a lie. Take the precautions if you want though, you can never be too safe.

Quick tip for all of you abyss crafters...
That sometimes doesn't always work, depending on how certain PKers position themselves. And usually if you get by once and they see you... chances are they'll be ready for you the next time (that is if they're smart).

What are the results of the mass ban - higher prices
*shrugs* Wouldn't had bothered me any. Most the stuff in which I got, I chopped myself. I think the only item I ever really bought in bulk was rune essence. People should've known better anyways. Macroing is a bannable offense. And well everyone who did it was about to get burned. Now not only did the offending account get booted, but any account that was linked to it (which probably means they checked IP addresses and what not). This will hardly effect the game. Doesn't matter what figures you pull out of your hat.
