Dragon legs cost more than dragon chain?!
But yeah, this is a pretty constructive topic, and not everyone has the knowledge of the game as you, wozza. If you want pointless topics, head over to the haunted mine or stalk the rants forum. You would fit in very well there. OMG! Someone agrees with me! Is there a full moon out tonight? Its still sunny here, but man I'd love to know if there is. lol I'd like to think I have a decent amount of knowledge about the game, but even I didn't know about what items drop over one another. Course I didn't PK very often and would have never PKed in any form of Dragon armor, let alone Chain... but thats just me. So yeah, its nice to see some form of reference about it. I'm sure its a common mistake made since most people pay more attention to street prices then the value that Jagex gave it. I pretty much concluded that at the end of my reply that you quoted. Same lvl to smith both (legs and skirts), so yeah, guess it makes sense that prices are the same. Figured I'd post it even though I kind of answered my own question so people would take notice and not bother to ask the question.

Dragon legs cost more than dragon chain?!
 What do you expect out of 13 year olds? Stop whining about it and let them do whatever it is they choose to do. This topic is at least constructive to a decent degree. There are worse topics out there that you should be complaining about (IE: The stupid Haunted mine topic). And people say I'm always negative... Guess they haven't met you yet. LOL! Boy do I pitty them when they do... Well actually... scratch that... those morons deserve to get flamed, even if it is by you.

Cabin Failure?
The entire quest was basically an escape tactic in my opinion. Besides... its just building on another quest. They are going to expand on the island, obviously. It was just another quest that gives all players (especially the low lvls) something to do. They already have more then enough to do... but Jagex are kind of predictable in that respect. Personally... I liked the quest. It took like a whole five minutes to do, but the outfits I liked.

Haunted Mine lucky day
If you're posting about it, you're bragging about it. As for the mass amount of 13 year olds claiming I'm always negative... you little ones exagerate too much. And what do you call this topic? Before you call me a spammer maybe you should call yourself one as well. Incase you didn't notice I hardly make topics, I simply reply to them. And obviously, I don't spam other people's threads with nonsense. If you wanna call me on something, at least be slightly accurate. You weren't even close. EDIT: And why someone bumped this thread up is beyond me, its a day old and I thought this lame topic had died out.

ITS HAPPENING...System Update...
The point is/was... they HAVE updated on a Thursday before. Snail Helms, making snail balm, the ability to cook snails, and I think the fishing spot in the area with the Ghasts (where you catch slimey eel) were all added one day on a Thursday. Chances are they ran into problems working on getting the update out. Probably need to test it more. So probably the next or last update will consist of a double update.

cant believe how far kids go nowadays!
*shrugs* Nothing new. Most people in the community that you come into contact with have absolutely no clue about the game at all. Well... everyday on my new noob account seems to outdo themselves... I was doing Vampire Slayer, apparently my combat skills were lower then what they should have been, it took me awhile to kill the Vampire (not that it should bother anyone else). Anyway... this moron (lvl 65ish) comes down and continues to tells me to hurry up... mind you, I'm around lvl 26 at the time, I think. So I finally kill this vampire and stick around to watch this guy do whatever he was fixing to do. He gets another Vampire to pop up by opening the casket... he kills it... BUT OH WAIT... it regenerates. lol. So he is fighting this thing for like a good 5 minutes, then he finally kills it. I think someone dropped a hammer for it. But yeah... just found it funny that this guy tells me to hurry up when he took three times as long.

-=Runescape Currency Guide=-
Down under the pub, if you talk to the guy down there, he will sell you ale yeast for a certain amount of ectotokens. In the first part (under coins), you said "sable" when I think you ment "stable". I dunno why, but that just stuck out to me. Might wanna copy your post and paste it into a word document to check the spelling and grammar. Don't think spell check would have picked that up. I just happened to notice it. EDIT: And not that its a big deal, but you might want to change the Tokens part to either "Tokens/Tickets" or maybe just "Tickets". I think everything you listed there comes in the form of a ticket. Unless you added the Frog Prince/Princess event, that gives a token. EDIT2: For the agility area, you can get a Pirate Hook as well with the tickets. That is sometimes overlooked. EDIT3: And here is a litte link for reference on what you get at the ranged guild (pic at very bottom): http://tip.it/runescape/?page=ranged_guild.htm EDIT4: really hate to sound picky, but there is a whole lot more to obtaining trading sticks as well. I'll just link you: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=taibwowannai_cleanup.htm Its a decent guide, but it could have used a little bit more detail, now that I'm really looking at it. First glance I gave you the benefit of the doubt. It could use some revising. *points up*

15-Feb-2006 Friend system upgrades
Well... if there is an update this week... my guess would be that the pies would be introduced along with some more area revaps. And maybe the spit roasts for chompys and the one random event. Then next week I would assume would bring the treasure trails and the new monster. Then for the last week the last quest. Thats my guess... at least.

15-Feb-2006 Friend system upgrades
Could just as easily happen tomorrow. It wouldn't be the first time they updated on a Thursday. Don't expect it to be a "uber huge" update though.

This weeks update...
It makes me sick...i was just about to post the most horrific and most offensive reply i could of ever posted in one of the topics....but before i hit the reply button i hit the 'x' at the top. God the rs forums are full of 10 year old (oops sorry 13  ) spamming all the forums and topics up, its embarrasing. LoL. Anyways this update buisness... I could care less really.. I mean updates a great, but theres no need for a schedual. In a way its jagex's fault too. They realease the "Behind The Scenes" which contains 4 Updates that equal 4 weeks. If they just realesed updates randomly people wouldn't crap there pants if there wasn't an update every week. People would still be expecting a weekly update regardless. And besides, I like reading Behind the Scenes stuff. It actually brings my mind to ease that they might actually have some form of a schedule. Although I liked the themed months much better then just this random stuff.

:::...Guide To Staking With Magic...:::
False Half your Defense and half your mage contribute to defense against magic. EDIT: Took me awhile, but I have dug up the article that supports the above statement I made. http://news-web.runescape.com/lang/en/a ... .ws?id=194 Part E

Why wear a ROW though? Wouldn't Ring of Recoil serve you better?

Returning items of strangers
The thing about that is... losing items is the entire point of dieing. Its nice that some people do return items, but it really shouldn't be expected. And I for one probably wouldn't return the items. Thats even considering whether I pick the stuff up, because I wont pick up plain old junk. The only exception would be for friends. If a friend dies, yeah... I would most definitly get what I could (if not all of it) and see to it that it was returned. Otherwise... anything that hits the floor and becomes visible is fair game to me. I wouldn't expect anyone to do it for me (unless they were a friend) so I definitly wouldn't do it for anyone else. And with that said... I don't think I've died and lost anything since my RSC days (at least on the main). So my track record is doing well in that respect. I think if more people start helping others when they die... they will become too dependent of total strangers, which will only lead to a big disappointment when they get stabbed in the back (and knowing this community, they will). And like I probably said before, it defeats the purpose of dieing.

Dragon legs cost more than dragon chain?!
Anyone with half a brain would ignore the thread instead of saying something unconstructive and make themselves sound like a big-headed moron. Check your ego at the door, please. well, excuse me...have u not just done the EXACT same thing. LOL erm... no actually he didn't. He was simply addressing your rude comment, is all. A comment that more or less was not needed. If you hadn't noticed, his first post here was actually constructive. Yours, on the other hand, wasn't. How was my post not constructive? do you guys enjoy reading noob crap on this forum? oh im sorry ill leave... Its not really noob crap. Some people just focus more on the street value of items, rather then the general store values. Whether your noob little mind likes it or not... General store prices are extremely important to anyone who decides to go out pking. I for one would at least like to know what I lose if I'm carrying more then three items when I die. Then again... morons like you probably don't have to worry about that since you're probably some lame 3 itemer. So yeah... see yourself out of the conversation. If it doesn't concern you and you have nothing constructive to add, you shouldn't bother.

ever had a friend that put u down?
Some kid (lvl 32, I think, age 11) just the other day, when I was on my warrior noob... said he could kill me easy in wild. I got a kick out of it. Then I told him my noob mage could kill him just as easy, and my main could kill him even easier. Had him following me around for a good 10 to 20 minutes, trying to guess my age and trying to get me to tell him my account names. I got a pretty good kick out of it. Even some other guy decided to follow him and join in by guessing my age. ...His attention span was terrible too. lol

New Monster ideas???
It would be nice if it was like that (lvl 4 clue scrolls), but I highly doubt that Jagex would do that. It'll probably be like kinkydave said, 10 in each.

Dragon legs cost more than dragon chain?!
Now here is something that makes me wonder... I don't look too much into general store prices... but is the Dragon Skirt the same price as the plate legs? Or cheaper? You would think the skirt is just a tad cheaper, but thats just me I guess. NOw that I'm looking at the smithing tables, I doubt it. *shrugs*

Kenny's Barrows experiences.
No real point in spamming the word "junk" either. You could just as easily cut the list down in such a way that it lists the most noticable items. Example: Trip #3: Karil's Crossbow Trips 4 - 9: Junk Trip #10: Arhim's Hood It would make it a lot easier on the eyes in my opinion, but maybe thats just me. And yeah... the caps are an eye sore. :?

possible bug during tail of two cats cutscene
I don't believe I had the same problem with that quest... but when they were reading Bob's mind (or whatever), during the cut scene when people would be talking, some of the heads would be missing in the chat box. I think my screen also went black, hard to recall. I seriously think there is a problem with that specific cutscene.

How Low Have Players Sunk?
You don't even really need that these days. I'm training up my new noob, out of boredom, and I've already had... and this is just today... 1 person try to password scam me 1 person try to buy my armor off me 1 person state the most idiotic statement I've ever seen And who knows how many people looking for bfs/and gfs Just on a low lvl noob... Now... add my lvl 101 into the mix... I'm bound to have someone following me or pointing me out. Whether I'm wearing any "uber p2p armor" or not.

Haunted Mine lucky day
I agree with the fact that people shouldn't carry that kind of money around, but that still doesn't justify you bragging about it. I've had luck come like that numerous times, and I have never made a pointless post bragging about any of them. Take your loot that you did nothing to get and keep your mouth shut. Simple as that. Theres no reason, nor point, in bragging about it. I'm sure other people have recieved better loots by actually doing some work rather then just standing around waiting for random people to die. I like how people keep posting flames like this. This is called general chat, it's pretty much for almost pointless threads. It wasn't even close to a flame, but ok, whatever. And posts like these have been frowned upon ever since I've been apart of these forums. So don't tell me that just because this is a general forum justifys such posts, because it doesn't. If every person would come here and make a post like this every time they ran into "luck"... this forum would be flooded with these lame topics. So yeah... speak for yourself.

Haunted Mine lucky day
*cough*teleothering at dag kigns, barrows, and places *endcough* I was leaning more towards the PKing aspects of the game. That is just as, or more so, bad then what this guy is bragging about.

How Low Have Players Sunk?
But if you saw a person being attacked by a rabid animal... Would you wait for that animal to kill the person, then hope the animal leaves without bothering you, and then proceed to take the dead person's wallet? Think before you post.
