  1. Actually they either precut themselves in advance so they have very thin, weak scars that will open on contact or they cut themselves quickly using a razor blade they have taped somewhere. Face it, the blood is real. They don't always blade themselves. I know Vince is a fan of blading though. Usually if he is in a match and he gets busted open... you can bet that he bladed himself (and it usually too deep, lol). Accidents do happen. But more often then not, the blood IS real. Not a big fan of the WWE Product much anymore, still somehow manage to watch it, but some of the storylines are just... meh. I'd rather watch something more pure and raw like the UFC.
  2. Well... If it wasn't already obvious... This community has really been dumbed down in a certain respect. From the English lessons comment... to the noob who thinks full Drag consists of two drag items and two non drag items. Its just really sad to see something like that. You were right by closing out the trade screen.
  3. LOL, r2pleasent would have gotten his ... banned a long time ago if that was true. Which was my thoughts exactly. They should get banned, but they wont. As long as people are stupid enough to pay the prices... no one will get banned. And even if people don't buy it... they still wont get banned.
  4. Its not that your posts were misleading or anything. They were accurate at the time from a certain stand point. It would be nice, however, if Jagex would get their "story" straight with regards to the exp reward system. EDIT: And just a small tid bit... At one point in this new mini game I would of been able to get 561 exp per point. Now.... 561 x 12 = 6732 Square root of 6732 is 82 You would need to now be a lvl 82 prayer to get the exp I was once getting at lvl 58 prayer. That seems like a real big mistake if you ask me. EDIT: Edited the math, the first example was a rough estimate. The proper figures are now up. It also really makes you wonder what level you need now after they changed the origional formula. Which was your lvl, squared, divded by three.
  5. Wasn't accusing you of flaming me, just for the record. I just figure if I comment too much on something I'll have one of my little "friends" on this forum decide to bash me for whatever reason. I wasn't by any means suggesting that was you or anything. Its just a well known fact that some people don't like me on this forum for whatever reason. Discussing this matter is becoming pointless, because now looking at the "Knowledge Base" they now amended it for about the 3rd time. Now it states that Prayer is your level squared, divided by 12. So that makes it even worse. That would put me down to about 281, roughly. So now the exp would be about one Dragon Bone ectoed. My statement is starting to become more true, either way.
  6. That would be the Shifter. EDIT: For anyone who wants a direct link to the section where it lists the monsters... here is the link: http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=2531 Doubt anyone is having a hard time finding it, but just incase.
  7. lol, spoofer. Switch the "3" and the "2" where you credited me. :P Unless you wanna start calling me 3002g2Y. EDIT: And the level of monsters are in the Knowledge base. As well as a description of what each monster does. Just so you know.
  8. That and I'd imagine a lot of D2H owners might have fun using the special in crowded areas. Haven't really seen anyone mention the D2H yet, I'm surprised.
  9. I was aware of what he said, but I was making it clear that there are other ways/methods to ectoing. Obviously, if you're going to compare the best conditions in pest control to the worst in ectoing... its one sided. When comparing things you either have to compare the worst conditions for both... or the best conditions for both. Thats what I was getting at. And clearly... the best conditions for ectoing would be buying the Drag bones in bulk and then ectoing. Not killing the dragons and blah blah blah. If you need a better explanation as to what I'm getting at... I'll be more then happy to explain further. I just don't want to post a bunch of figures and opinions only to either be ignored or to have one of my lovely "fans" come and decide to flame me for being "negative". :?
  10. You have a point. It has its pros and cons obviously, but it doesn't change the fact that it can only be as good as ectoing and not better then it (this is under the best of situations). Obviously the higher your level, the better off you are as well. If I were a couple levels higher... yeah... it probably would be slightly better. Anyone under my level I would think would be better off buying bones and ectoing for the faster exp. Course... I guess some would rather have the free exp (like myself), but others will go where the fast exp is. EDIT: And no... I'm not saying I'm better then anyone. Just turned out that at my prayer level... Its pretty even with ectoing. Which was a mere coincidence.
  11. I beg to differ, I highly doubt the prayer EXP at this new place is better then Ectoing. At level 58 I would get about 561 exp from this new mini game. Thats only about 2 dragon bones ectoed. Now... it would be different if you were killing the dragons yourself... but most people usually buy the bones in bulk. So I would have to say you're wrong in that respect. Correct me if I'm wrong. EDIT: At first I forgot to take into consideration the amount of points a person gets. I suppose if you'd get 15 points in the new mini game, it would be the same as ectoing, but definitly NOT better. If you get anything below 10 points... My guess would be that you'd be better off ectoing. NOTE: I am by no means saying this game is useless. God knows I'd be playing it if I was still a member. I just also understand where some of the complainers are coming from.
  12. Ooooo, Paul is finally getting sick and tired? Theres news. I would've been up to my ears by now... Only minor change I would have made is add Slayer to the EXP rewards as well. It only seems proper at least (all the other combat skills are options). I think maybe they should've revised the "awards" system a bit better before releasing it, but thats just me. Its pretty weak of them to make something and apparently not put much thought into game balance... Then have to change it once they notice they made a mistake. They really welcome the complainers with open arms when they do foolish stuff like that. I don't see this mini game having much longevity. Them changing the exp reward by halving it seems to have turned off a lot of people, based on whats been said here. And seeing as though this is a co-op mini game... The number of players who join the game two months down the road might be so little of an amount, that the exp per hour wont be worth it (the team might not even be able to win). Just my thoughts, at least.
  13. you have to recharge the glorys the other way though :) It wouldn't be any different then having to craft and enchant the emerald rings. Obviously you can buy in bulk, but the same can easily be said for glories. Either way... Glories are faster while runecrafting. Other factors may alter those results to a degree. If you're saying you have 50 Rings of dueling... you have to compare that to someone who has 50 glories. Dueling rings have a higher charge, but I wouldn't say its better even in that regard. There are obvious pros and cons to each method. I know when I was nature crafting though... oh so many months ago... I opted to do the Glory method. Glories would also probably be the cheaper method in the long run. Seeing as though you don't have to continue buying rings. That is if you don't die (Never lost a glory while doing Abyss runs myself).
  14. You said you searched? http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=426 ... n+pick+axe http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=408 ... n+pick+axe http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=396 ... n+pick+axe Even a post exactly like yours: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=406 ... n+pick+axe I'll stop there. Point is, you must not of looked hard enough if you did search. NOTE: I even had the search limited to the General P2P forum. I'm sure if I just searched the General forum, I would've probably found about another five or six topics.
  15. Agreed on both counts. Miners always have been greedy. And always will be (maybe even more so now). I'd really like to see the mining system get tweaked a bit more, but I doubt that'll ever happen. I liked the hard/soft rock system better, but thats probably just me. I'd say get the mining up and do the Between-a-Rock Quest. Yeah... its a pretty good walk, but I doubt you'll run into many people that will bother you up there.
  16. Then if I were you, I wouldn't try playing Star Wars Galaxies either. I had a similar problem over there. They required a credit card for you to even get the first month free. I went out of my way and got a prepaid credit card for this game, and they accepted the card. One month later, when my next payment is due... my account loses membership for absolutely no reason (from my perspective). I had to literally e-mail THEM only to find out that the credit card I gave them was invalid. Found out later that I had to call a toll free number to have the card authorized for online shopping. Needless to say... I opted to stop giving the company my money when they didn't even have the decentcy to tell me whether my payment method was accepted or not.

Dunno why every other moron is taking the tip.it comment so personal. Obviously if the game is lacking as far as a good community goes, it will lack a bit as far as the forums go. If anything, all you idiots coming here for a flame war are just proving his point to be true. And then someone wanted to get mad at me a couple days/weeks ago for saying that some people lack common sense. Heh... Point is, tip.it will always have something that needs to be improved upon (some things more obvious then others). That doesn't mean you should rag on the guy when he actually has a point. Especially with the cheesy, over utilized, clicḫ̩̉̉s that some of you bring to the table. Yous act as if you have nothing better to say or do then bring up all the crummy clicḫ̩̉̉s that even a five year old could come up with. Some of you people on these forums just simply amaze me... I will never understand why it is some of you waste your time saying the same exact thing someone else said like ten minutes before you did. Nor will I ever understand why some of you are so narrowminded to say a small comment and make it out to be so personal. Grow up and let the guy say his good byes with no more confrontations. Look at it this way... the sooner yous quit bumping the topic up, and let those who wish to play their respects do so... The sooner you wont have to see him again.

...I actually liked the bunny thing... And I'm 20 years old. All Holiday events are nice in my opinion (or so far at least). Infact, the Easter event was the one thing that made me pop back on RS for a few minutes to get the emote and ring for two of my accounts. *shrugs*

Kids will eventually move to WOW anyways. I've seen it happen already. And talking about it on a forum full of "kids" wont help your case. Morons come a dime a dozen. I've seen it on expensive games like SWG. Infact... SWG, while better then RS, was more of a lost cause. Same repition over and over (even more so then RS)... and it cost me more to play that game for one month then it did a year of RS almost. And yes... there were idiots on SWG (even some of my own clan/guild mates were idiots). As far as the macroing claim goes... yeah... RS was maybe dumbed down a bit. Honestly... I liked some of the changes that came with RS2 (the lobster fishing was actually something I liked). Obviously, there are ideas I think Jagex should burn in hell for, but then there are things that I could be forever in Jagex's debt for. The miniclip deal we all should've seen a mile away. Jagex were heavily promoting RS2, it even had a review on IGN. Yeah, it had a negative impact on the community to the old school players, but it had a positive impact for Jagex. And you can't really blame them for wanting to make money. We can hate the idea as much as we want, but the fact is that we all probably would've done the same thing. In game additions and changes are a different story, and I wont bother to get into them. The deal with Jagex Vs. Tip.it I will probably never understand entirely. What I will admit though is that I think the actions of Andrew Gower were appauling and weak. To threaten to file a lawsuite just wasn't the right thing to do. As far as the 3rd Party rubbish... I'm not going to bother touching on that so much. Seems like every time I do, some stupid advocate flames me on a personal level. All I'll say about that is 3rd Party software of any kind is illegal. And it doesn't seem how often that is stressed, people continue to bring it up and try to make something sound like its ok to use when it definitly isn't. I'll leave ya on that note. I've probably reached the point of babbling right now. Didn't know ya, but good luck in the future. And hope you find happyness on WOW (no matter how brief that might be).
  20. *sigh* This is why threads like these should be locked. People misunderstand what the message is, then they automatically assume that the items are available in the game. Then word spreads and before you know it, people are asking about an item not even in the game yet. You CANNOT get these two items in the game... ...and someone please get this thread locked. When people start assuming something is in the game when it isn't... it means its time to be locked. :P
  21. Dunno how long they've been in the item list, but there have been images of them ever since Runecrafting has been released. Point that everyone is getting at is this is definitly old news. And just because something is in the inventory list... doesn't mean that it'll be out anytime soon. Especially seeing as though the items have been made for about 2 years now (or longer)? It took all that time for just the Death Talisman to get implemented... at the rate jagex is going... I would say Runecrafters have at LEAST a two to three year wait for the Soul Talisman (if that is indeed going to be the last craftable rune).
  22. Guess you don't know Jagex that well. :? Either way, any idea is a possibility, it could be a reference to a movie, hint on a new quest, or even (and heres a shocker) nothing. Speculation, while fun, is really becomming old though. Too many people expect too much out of something so little.
  23. That makes sense. My overall opinion with Unicorns in general is that they need to respawn faster, but thats probably just me. I remember finding herblore extremely hard on RSC because of the low population of Unicorns in non-wild, and the respawn times make it all the more worse.
  24. That would be my guess. And common sense says that the babies would be with the "adults". Meaning they would be down in the slayer dungen. They'll probably have an update tomorrow to reflect just that. Thats the only location that would actually make sense.
  25. Thats false, cause I've been able to move as an egg while running. Granted, you have to time it right, but it is possible.
