Ppl who take ur Rune arrows!
That comment is pretty amusing if you ask me. You come here complaining about arrow stealers... then you go on saying something like that. Well... if you can afford to train with them, you can afford to lose them. And that conclusion was gathered simply based on what you just said in that quote. You pretty much made your complaint/rant pointless with that comment. If you're too hard headed to comprehend that people steal them just to resell them back to fools like you... then maybe you shouldn't be complaining. And if they aren't reselling them... at least you know they'll probably be in better hands.

Whats this now?!
Yup, and if they formatted the hard drive within the past year or so... I wouldn't be surprised. They should format it anyways if they're selling it, but some people just aren't smart I guess. EDIT: On a side note... this really doesn't have anything to do with General P2P. You might want to look into getting this moved to a more proper place before a mod just ups and locks it.

A quote that speaks the truth
This just goes to show how ignorant some people are. I, for one, wouldn't have done such a thing. And I'm sure a great many of people in this community wouldn't have either. A lot of us wouldn't be so stupid as to risk our mains like that. So please... speak for yourself when you say such things. You can't honestly say everyone would do it... You probably don't even know half the people on this forum... So tell me... How is it that you can predict what people would do if don't even know them? Simple... You can't. And there is a "warrior code". Just because you don't know what it is and what it stands for doesn't make it "noob crap". That just proves even further how ignorant you are.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Blue Moon? Maybe you should look at your post history buddy. Sure doesn't look like "once a blue moon" to me. The lowest amount of posts per month you've had this year alone is 4. On average you had 10 to 13 posts in a month. Thats well over once a week, which is well over "once in a blue moon". You can't even get facts concerning yourself correct. So how anyone can take your opinion on this matter serious is beyond me. I don't even have to discredit you, you're doing all the work for me by posting in your oh so foolish fashion. At least its nice to know that you haven't changed much since the last time we crossed paths. Yeah... Now whos flaming? Just goes to show how simple minded you really are. And when I have a point, your best remark is "Hope you die". Get a life loser...

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Look at the interview, at the comments and support from the interviewer. Loot to the comments from many people in forum. Look at that group of people in the video following the murder hoping in a loot. I see pking as a way to test your skill against a real opponent. But for do that you need him to be prepared to fight, with a good chance to win the battle. When pkers team on a solo fighter, when they attack unarmed skillers forced to enter the wild, when a berker can kill people in their normal duties and feel proud of this is just murder. And this mentality need to be stopped. I think you're slightly missing the point that I was trying to make. Is it weak for people to do that? Yes. I don't think anyone will argue that point. The point I believe you missed is the said items/examples that you are using are simply bad examples for the simple fact that they were added to the wild to add a risk factor to them. You can't expect to get free rune items, free guilded armor, Robin Hood hats, Cavs, and all those other things for free. Do you have any idea how unbalanced that would be? Not only that, but there is no guarantee that you will even be spotted by a PKer. I can recall a many of times I went to the wild and ran into absolutely nobody. Course I probably had more patcience then some other players. The time of day use to play a HUGE role. Whether it does now is beyond me. Yes. As there are no more real pkers they needed something to lure non-pkers there, ant that is the only reason. The real Pker comment isn't even close to the truth. I honestly feel they added the Abyss to allow RCers easier access to alters, but to even things out, they placed it in the wilderness. I mean... look at all the advantages the Abyss has. Depending on how quick you are... you can average 1k essence crafted in about an hour (probably even less time now). Again, the same rule applies as the Treasure Trails... some sort of a risk is needed for such a great reward. If they really wanted to make it hard on players... they would have put it in lvl 30 wild. The place where it is right now is more then fair. The PKers are just to add a risk factor. A great many of PKers probably would stay up in the Members Area of wilderness. This helped pull some of them down from hugging the bank at the Mage Area and what not. I attacked a fair share of "PKers" myself at the Abyss. You chase them off and they'll usually take a hint to not bother you again (especially if they are lacking skill). And the other point I was making, that you missed... was people know what they are in for when going to the wild. IT'S A FREAKING GAME! Anyone who gets a rush from a bunch of pixels seriously has issues. You completely shot down your own statement before you even said it. Nice Job.

Getting monster heads.
I wonder if that could even be a hidden bug of sorts? It would be nice if Jagex could clarify the conditions for getting these heads (or how rare they are at least). Everything they state in the KB concerning these trophys are really vague.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Your point is well seen, but the thing is... those things you listed were added to the wildy for a specific reason. The sheer rewards given by those very things you just stated are things that need to involve some form of a risk. I mean lets be honest here... you wouldn't expect people to make millions off of a faster Runecrafting method and not have any risk at all... The Abyss is a real bad example anyways. No one holds a gun to your head and says that you have to use the Abyss to Runecraft. There are other ways of making runes. And everyone by now should know very well what the risks are when doing Abyss Crafting. The same could be said for the Treasure Trail items. I mean... be glad that only lvl 3 clues take you into the wilderness. The lvl 3 clues are the ones that are worth taking the risk. Why? Because the reward in itself can be just that... very rewarding. You can't honestly compare this "Falador Massacre" to PKing in the wilderness. People are well aware of the risks involved of going to the wilderness... Getting PKed outside of the wilderness isn't anything that anyone can prepare for, nor can they expect it. Especially when the cause of such a thing is from an unknown bug. EDIT: And just for the record. I never have been and never am a PKer. Infact, I've done more Abyss Crafting on my time in RS then I have PKing on my main and noob accounts combined. So don't try stating that I'm only saying it because I'm a PKer. Thats far from the truth. EDIT2: Forgot to mention that I've done my fair share of lvl 3 clues as well.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Couldn't help but notice that silly little comment. And I just HAVE to respond. That right there is a lie. Your post history alone reflects just that. If you wanna call me crude names, maybe you should get your facts straight. I'll be the first to admit that I am blunt and to the point. If your fragile ego can't handle that, go crawl back into your little corner and not bother replying to my comments. Every single time I see you, you're "flaming"... So I don't see where you get off pointing the finger at me. And next time... try not to over exagerate. Then again... you seem to have a thing for doing that. Lol... gone two years yet you're recent post history goes back (and even further then) Oct. of 2005. Like I said... people like you don't deserve to be a part of this community. And your actions support just that.

***Same Moster, Diffrent Spawn, Better drop??
Alright, let me just school you in a few things about this forum. And I'm not meaning this in a mean way, nor am I saying this to ruffle your feathers. I'm gonna be totally straight with you... An attitude like that, isn't gonna get you anywhere on this forum. Running around calling people idiots... talking trash.... and all this other rubbish you're doing... It reminds me a lot of myself about a year ago. You're not going to make any friends and you're going to find yourself banned before you know it. You're going to have people who constantly shoot you down, even if you have a point... because you'll be labled as "that guy who starts trouble". Don't start off on the wrong foot and separate yourself from the community. Thats probably the only reason why I'm still in this community today. I didn't get a set straight away... I'd say I started doing what you're doing long into my stay at tip.it. The tough guy act wont work, I can see through it already. Aint no one gonna take you serious throwing out idol threats and junk. Even I still have my moments... but you're off to a real bad start. You're gonna find your departure to be quicker then it took for you to get registered if you continue the way you are. I figured you'd like to hear that from someone who has kind of been in your shoes. Settle down and stop taking everything so seriously. And as others have said... get a sense of humor... smile a little.

What is considered a "low level" player
I agree. Anything under lvl 70 I would consider a low level. lvl 70 - lvl 89 is ok, but not all that impressive. lvl 90 - lvl 99 you have a solid level, but nothing special. lvl 100 - lvl 110 is where I am and continue to be happy. lvl 111 on up I would have to say is the promised land. Thats based on my opinion, its no official guide line or anything.

Monument of remembering
I like this idea better. Its a more respectable tribute to two players who passed away while being an actual part of the community. But to be honest... this isn't exactly an origional idea... for numerous reasons. And you pretty much just copied that guys idea and made a new post. I just can't respect that as an origional idea (its weak to rip off someone else's ideas). Could've easily presented the idea in that thread, instead of spamming the forum with two similar ideas with almost identical topic names. :?

Monument of remembering -petition-
No... just simply no... Congrats... you're the first person to ever get me to make a post in less then thirty words in a VERY long time (so it seems).

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Ah yes... the Warrior's Code. Thank you for bringing that up. I was trying to remember what it was called, but since I really don't PK (or visit the Graveyard forum much) I forgot what it was called. Nor do I really know exactly what all the "code" consists of. That and its really not my place to bring up things I know little to nothing of. Thanks. Very good point WolfhunterXZ.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Adam... That was hypothetically speaking, my friend. As in, I'm not suggesting tip.it does support bug abuse. I'm saying that players/users may get that impression based on the content of the article. Regardless of whatever disclaimers tip.it may post. As it was said before by someone else... some people may just bother to skip to the interview. Also in the example I gave... I ment it like this... This is an example: Tommy tells Jimmy that he likes Baseball. Jimmy tell Lucy that Tommy likes Baseball. Lucy doesn't quite remember what Jimmy said, so she tells Larry that Tommy likes Basketball (rather then Baseball). So... what I'm suggesting is as word spreads of this ordeal. People could easily mix up the facts and suggest numerous things that are false. Such as Tip.it supporting Bug Abuse, Tip.it doing the actual interview, and what not... EDIT: Just read his additional closing words that tip.it added... and it just proves even further how much of a [wagon] kisser this guy is. How tip.it can be so narrowminded as to not see right through this guy is beyond me. He is literally turning the main website into a three ringed circus. I'm extremely distgusted with this rubbish. And then he had the nerve to state his RS name... and tells people not to bother him in game... Give me a break...

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
I demand my bubble back. I say guilty by association though. Regardless whether the opinions in the interview reflect that of tip.it or not... That interview is saying that its ok to abuse a bug. And thats something that the community really shouldn't be exposed to. Especially considering the fact that we have younger players who don't know any better. Not only that, but you know how word spreads. First word goes around that its a unofficial interview with a bug abuser. Next time word comes around... there are claims that Tip.it supports bug abusers. Do you really think Tip.it needs to deal with all that negative feedback/publicity? Let the pro-bug abusers post their rubbish on their own sites and on their own forums... Not here.

Any quick nat crafting guides?
He also said he wanted magic exp as well. So I'm assuming he would be hi alching with those nats (using a fire staff). Its all good, you prolly missed the magic exp part.

Jagex need to revamp their Beta Testing program.(Not a Rant)
Anyone who knows better though... would know that Jagex will never e-mail you. And such a system can be done totally through the site. And thanks for the supporting comments (especially my_name_is_6742's info there).

Any quick nat crafting guides?
Well... you can do it with 3, but its better to have a higher amount so you can focus more on crafting the runes. Rather then worrying about when you have to go and recharge your ammys. I would suggest no less then 10. I said 20 for the simple fact that thats about the amount I had when I was doing Runecrafting. 3 ammys x 4 charges = 12 trips 26 + 9 = 35 Runes 900 runes to craft/35 per trip = 25.7 (rounded down) trips You're making at least two or three trips to go and recharge ammys. Its fine if you want to take the time to do that, but thats the down side to doing it with a small number of Ammys. Course... 900 isn't much to make. When I was doing RCing... I was doing it on a much larger scale (but that was back when f2pers could still sell essence to p2pers as well).
-
Any quick nat crafting guides?
That would be all fine and well... except he specifically said he wanted to do Nats. ;) Only real effective way (at least for me) was to have a lot of Glorys saved up. Now back when I had a circle of friends in game... Someone would literally trade me Enchanted Glory Ammys for uncut Dragon Stones. And when slayer came out... I found myself doing a lot of Fire Giant killing. Which usually you can average a half key drop almost every trip. So once I would get a key complete... I would pretty much get a free drag stone and I would trade that to my friend. It works a lot better then paying 100k (or whatever the price is now) for one. NOTE: You also need about 20 Charged Glory Ammys saved up to do Abyss runs effectively. I almost left that part out by mistake. ...And I'm sure there are players in the community still that can provide you Dragon Ammys. Some might require you to get the items... however. There are newer method with the introduction of POHs. But the Abyss and teleing to Edge via Drag Ammy is the most straight forward approach anyone could really take. Only other method would be to note Rune Essence and take a load of GP with you and denote them via the General store at Tai Bwo Wannai (sp?). That costs money, but not a whole lot (if I recall correctly). EDIT: Here is a discussion about the POH method. Works similar to the Abyss method I stated above, but you only really need one Glory Ammy (but house tele tablets to be effective). Link: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=472074

Constructions advantage for RuneCrafting.
Says who? You? ...Tele runes are free if you do your own mining. Obviously its time spent gathering extra runes for power training, but its time well spent (especially since its free runes and free RC exp). EDIT: And for the tablets you only need to get two runes... that is if you can use a elemental staff to make these tablets. So craft Laws and Airs and use a earth staff. Why craft Airs? Because you can make more per essence.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Now this... this I disagree with entirely. Please - explain to me how we are "Promoting bug abuse" ?? Have we come out and said "Check this out ! Here's how you do it, go for broke !" ? If we did, I most certainly missed that one, and would have removed it in a heart-beat if i'd seen it... Allowing a report on what the result of someone abusing a bug to be posted - with no details on how to replicate it, etc. is hardly promoting it. I can tell you now, each and every member of the Admin team condemn Duriels' actions and are absolutely appalled at the chaos he caused - totally selfish, careless and irresponsible, and my heart goes out to those innocents caught up in the middle of this and suffering losses which they should not have suffered. Yes, this is only a game... however, the millions of GP, items, etc. which were lost, have all taken time and effort to earn, or have sentimental value in some cases, and that has all been unfairly taken from numerous people by those who broke the rules. Now, the only exception that HAS been made here, is the whole naming of names things - and that's purely due to exceptional circumstances. It was so widely-known, and so entirely proven beyond doubt, that there was no "possible innocent" to be spared. In an indirect manner... I would have to say yous are... to be honest. Before I explain further... please let it be known that I have absolutely nothing personal against tip.it... I'm just simply calling it like I see it. The said interview is so extremely one sided that its pathetic. That little interview basically promotes bug abuse. For such a high profile site (such as tip.it) to post such material can only be considered indirectly promoting bug abuse (which is something tip.it doesn't and shouldn't promote). Infact... if I recall... I was one of probably many that actually reported that very interview that was posted on the forum. Why? Because it promotes everything that every good Runescape player, Tip.it, Jagex, and myself should be against. Then to my surprise... moments later I go to the Tip.it site... and to my surprise... the very thing that should have been removed is right on the website. I don't see why anyone feels that this interview is needed to tell the entire story. It will honestly do no good. Why? Because then it puts doubts in the minds of players. It makes people think that its alright to do things like this. All in the name of trying to etch their name in "Runescape History". Why would Tip.it as a whole allow such a thing like that to remain not just on their forum, but on their website as well? Make me understand how that is even justified... I'm not suggesting to report things inaccurately... but other users who are just as wise are stating that this very interview was done unprofessionally. Why would you want content that is even labeled as unprofessional posted on your main web site? The naming names ordeal I can sightly agree with... but I look at it this way... If you're going to make a rule... Their honestly shouldn't be any exceptions. If his name were to have been posted on the main site... thats all fine and well, but the forums? How can anyone take these rules seriously if Tip.it allows users to bend a rule when the moment is called for? Help me understand. EDIT: Couldn't help but see this comment after I decided to skim over the thread again... Let me just say this... Simple minds say simple things. And people like this I would LOVE to see get banned from this forum. These types of people aren't truely a part of the community. They're no better then the moron(s) who did the bug abusing. NOTE: Before I get a more direct reply to this reply... I am fully aware that Tip.it does not support the actions of the said offender, but they didn't need to publish (post, type, or whatever...) this crappy interview. For reasons I stated above.

Durial's interview gives 'scapers a bad rap
Anyone who actually agrees with what this guy did is a moron. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If I would've encountered such a bug. Yeah... I would've attacked one person, but thats it. And I wouldn't have killed them either, I would have stopped after one hit and then reported the bug. Why? Because that would have been the right thing to do. Not what this guy did. And had I of killed someone via this bug... I wouldn't of even thought about keeping the item. Infact I would have given the person their item back, and probably apologized to them for testing a bug on them. Tip.it is really no better. I feel tip.it staff is being some what hypocritical about the entire situation. They don't want people posting about bug abuse and naming names... yet this just so happens to be an exception??? Come on tip.it... If you're gonna make rules... at LEAST stick with them. Promoting bug abuse even if you don't support it is just as bad. How can you publish such content on your own damn website and forums when it is immoral and against the rules. Hypocrites I tell ya...

wasted dreams and regrets
Thats an over dramatic post if I've ever seen one. Dunno why you'd be so surprised. Everyone has been talking about it being a price sink and all. Why would they make you throw away all that GP to only allow you to make more GP from it? Seriously... Get real.

Jagex need to revamp their Beta Testing program.(Not a Rant)
Well... as if it wasn't obvious already... I was having a discussion earlier today with fellow tip.it crew member Adam about the whole ordeal that took place with the POH bug. And after a very long debate... Adam managed to literally argue me out of a lot of ideas. Jagex obviously doesn't seem to thoroughly test their updates... or at least in an effective manner. Such negligence has caused innocent players to lose items over the course of time. This case probably the worse bug every to have surfaced in the current live version of RS. If you look closely at a lot of the quest credits... there is usually only even one person that does "Quality Assurance". Older quests such as the Legends quest had up to ten people doing "Quality Assurance". These days for similar (and longer) quests, like Desert Treasure, there are only two. And the smaller quests are stuck with only one person doing "Quality Assurance". Now... that might not seem all that bad to you... but for someone such as myself who has taken part in helping develope a game (via beta testing)... I know first hand that it is extremely difficult for one person to locate all bugs. Infact... I would go as far as saying that it is next to impossible. The number of "Quality Assurance" workers just isn't feasible if they plan on having minimal bugs sift through to the live version. With that said... I feel the lower quests should have at least five people doing "Quality Assurance" and up to ten or more testing the more complicated quests. For things such as POHs/Construction... They probably should have had anywhere from twenty-five to fifty people testing every single aspect of that system. Another thing that concerns me is the fact that Jagex aren't bothering to look as in depth as they should. This is something that every developer has problems with. They are the ones who program it, so why should it have any faults? Thats their frame of mind (And could you really blame them for having that mind set?). Instead of having their own employees do the testing for them... and probably some of which who might've even done some of the programing... An outside source should probably be considered. And outside source could come in many forms. The most logical, in my opinion, is for Jagex to open a beta server. They should then have players (more then likely existing members of the service) sign up to take part in a beta testing program. The server of course would be closed off from the public, and the players participating in the testing would have to sign a confidentiality form stating that if any of the information is leaked... it could result in a ban. Lets face it, players are more prone to finding bugs. Some want to find bugs, yes, but others accidently stumble upon them. And it is usually doing things that Jagex would never think of. There are a lot of level headed players out there that would be more then willing to contribute to the product. Even if that ment taking time out from training on the live servers to test an upcoming update for bugs. I know I'm one of them. I think I've pretty much said my piece. Any comments are appreciated. Just no flames please. You flame, you get reported.

a durial321 interview (attack abuse bug)
The moron doing the interview and the bug abuser are both morons and scum. That just simply cannot be stressed. That punk isn't a legend and never will be. If he was a respectable player, he'd keep the Player killing where it belongs. In the Wild, in the CW Area, in the Duel area... You can hardly even consider him a pker anymore... and I've seen and herd of pkers doing so pretty weak things. I just can't believe how stupid that guy was who conducted the interview. I wasn't even a victim and I'm offended. Which brings me to the question... why hasn't this been locked yet?
