It is. Recently got the game, fell in love with it. Game actually took me by surprise. I was expecting something to just pass the time when I got bored. I actually got sucked into the story and all that fun stuff. lol And abc, I don't get mad at people unless specific buttons are pressed. :o

Wasn't aware that emoticons were strictly a woman's thing. But I dont' see how they would bother someone as long as they aren't used like this. Hi! :D I'm ieyfura, :P So, what are you guyz up to? :o

eh, emoticons are second nature to me. At least one per post is required! (coincidentally, this post lacks an emoticon)

Selectively. Example, Witchblade is my fav, nothing will ever budge that opinion for certain reasons. Followed by some other popular ones, Elfen Lied, Bleach(only to a certain point in the series though), Kuroshitsuji(Black Butler), Ghost in the Shell, Fooly Cooly, and I have a good deal on my "To watch" list as well. Oh yeah, Ouran High School Host Club too! xD

We're trying. Hopefully this push does the trick.- Last one to post wins
Oh, I see. I call it Animuu. :P- Whats in your wardrobe?
If I count both my dressers and my closet: (mainly goth fashion) 22 pants - Ranging from jeans to cargo, and others. 8 shorts- varying once again. 3 T-Shirts 4 long sleeve shirts - varying types 10 to 12 tank tops, varying types. Exactly 7 plain black tank tops - use as night shirts. 14 sets of undergarments in case I can't do laundry on the 7th day for whatever reason. 4 special sets pair of combat boots pair of platform boots pair of heeled buckle boots (I really don't know what else to call them) pair of sneakers 2 pairs of dress shoes 2 dresses- 1 casual, 1 elegant 4 pairs of dress clothing - (essentials for work, interviews, etc...) and a jewelry box filled with all sorts of rings (for my piercings) and a couple rings for my fingers as well. A lot of the above is clothing I've just kept since my wardrobe began growing over the past 6 years. Only 2 or 3 pieces are actually new-ish(4 months being the last time I bought clothing).- Last one to post wins
*pokes Nex and hides behind a sofa that has happened to materialize out of no where* And, What is Girl Cartoon Time? O.o- The Back Room
I still want to try out my whole trading empire thing eventually. (Leave it to me to be the non hostile one) I wouldn't mind the micromanagement if it isn't too much, but I do see conflict with me trying to keep up with everyone else playing if I miss sessions(which is likely I'll miss one here and there). So, I'm not exactly sure how to approach joining my first hegemony. :S- Last one to post wins
*pokes head into unknown territory* Oh, hi. :P- The Back Room
Mather, I think what Nex is trying to convey is how you represent those stories. The way you portray them comes off as something bad (not as in you're posting is bad, but in a manner that makes us worry). If it were something more along the lines of you tripping and falling on your ass, then yes, we'd all share a laugh with you. But I think the point is that what you may find to be laughable is a bit more "extreme" (I put this in quotes as it may not exactly be extreme, but it's not small like my previous example). EDIT: Also, Nex, calm down please. I know you're frustrated, but we're all currently working on resolving the issue at hand. :)- Congratulations to Our Newest Moderator!
Congrats :)- Battles IN SPACE
36 > 5 =P (Its mostly because moving 36 ships will take a long time, so I wanted to start off at 5, and maybe increase it depending on the speed the game went) Oh right, forgot to jot that down. (well damn, I'm going to have a hell of a lot of cash leftover then) xD I'll just cut off my terminators and one mauler then. lol- Battles IN SPACE
Yeah, it is intended. If you look at the HP(Health Points)*, the size and such, of the more expensive ships, they are larger and stronger. Also the DR (Damage Reduction) is much higher. As to the amount of money it should be 10,000,000,000...Which is obviously 10 Billion in retrospect =-P *Sorry if this is a little patronising Tis not patronizing at all. :) Well, I edited my post above. Hopefully I did all my math correctly. Correct me if needed. :P- The Back Room
The bot nuke in RS, it's too soon to make any solid claims. But as it appears right now, I would say that the game may shift to being, well..bot free. More people actually playing the game like back before free trade was taken away (They really should have waited until they had this clusterflutter ready to release free trade and wildy again imo) On the topic of playing any sweet MMOs. Currently, I am not. I'm still waiting on Star Wars: The Old Republic coming out soon and getting a computer that can run it. lol In regards to WoW, I used to play for the longest time. Their expansion killed the game, and now already they're coming out with another expansion. I might buy a month to check it out once it comes out, but that's about it.- 25-Oct-2011 - Bot-Nuking Day: Making RuneScape Fairer and More Fun!
Also, for those worried about the prices of raw materials. This also feeds into wealth being spread out more. The lower levels may not like it, but it gives a reason to pick up their rusty hatchets and pickaxes again and make some decent cash. Yes, of course their are better methods, but as the market stabilizes itself over time, resource gathering will be more profitable than it was pre-Bot-Nuke-Day.- The Back Room
I do however feel this should go up for vote. As the opinions of just a couple of us may not be shared among everyone. I know right off the bat, Mather is against this idea. Resistance may be for or against, etc...I know that you (Nex), me and possibly a few others would be for it. Not sure where archi stands on this matter, but you get my point. :P Would be best to put it up for a vote, give it a week or two, then decide from there. (though, we can apply the IRC channel right now anyway without changing the purpose of the Back Room)- The Back Room
I think that would work out rather nicely. Afterwards, if it turns out to be a success, Stork could edit in the IRC channel up into the Tavern Rules. Although, I'm sure someone would just tell someone returning to the Tavern here in this thread once they come back from a long leave. Just my 2 cents.- Battles IN SPACE
Ship Upkeep 2x Earthling Cruiser 3x Druuge Mauler Remaining Budget: $3,274,800,000- The Back Room
Icu, I know we're all aggravated, but I don't think the name calling is the right way to go about it. (I know it wasn't directly aimed at anyone, but it was implied). And yes, I agree. The Back Room did very well for a while, but then it just lost it's off topic discussion purpose as you said. Also, deleting those posts is a bit unfair to them if ours don't get deleted. I find that the whole Back Room should just be closed to everyone, or better yet, redefine it's purpose to off-topic game discussions only (what is being played, and brainstorming for new games to create). Mather, I know it's our "off-topic" thread and we all enjoyed it. But as it stands right now, not many of us, if not most of us, are not enjoying it at all.- The Back Room
Well, if it's really going to come to many of the people who actually use this board to hate it. (hate may be the wrong word, but as it stands, it's not exactly a very likable place). I'd like to put up the idea for the deletion of the Back Room. I think Resistance was right some time ago when he said that this thread is the cause for the Tavern's downfall, and right now it's proving to be the case. So, if anyone shares this feeling about it, I think we should put it up into a poll and vote on it, as the Tavern community. We need to fix this problem, and we need to do it now. EDIT: As a replacement, we can just use the site's IRC for all off topic discussion, possibly post a sticky up top, with whomever wants to open up an IRC chat then posts the chat name. Yes, we would not all be in it, and we all wouldn't be seeing what others had to say. But I seriously feel that the Back Room is doing more harm than good at the time being.- The Back Room
I think the best approach would be to start it yourself (it allows for you to form the game up around your own personal rules). I mean, yes, it could flop, but it never hurt to try, right? :P If it doesn't work, just try again with a different setting/mechanics/rules/story or whatever and maybe it'll have better luck. I know, easier said than done. But if you really want a hegemony, someone's got to want to make them. :)- The Back Room
You're not going to get that chance even against the untrained unless they're already on the verge of unconsciousness to begin with. - Last one to post wins
