  1. I like the fact that he's completely disregarding the person's instinctual reaction to pull back, making your job 3-4 seconds longer, and against someone who knows what they're doing, their instinctual action will be to drop you even faster, without killing you. lol EDIT: Oh yeah, also, the space between the crucial point of connection that you seek and how big your knee is. I'm sorry, Mather, but that move is just useless in ANY situation.
  2. Yeah, the only mob hunting profits I've ever achieved is from soloing the KBD and ranging black dragons. One visage drop, and many many bones/hides. lol.
  3. I get annoyed as all hell when I buy a package of bacon, and that my uncle who has a sixth sense for when we restock the kitchen comes home, and eats it all in one meal. And then cleans out all the lunch meat before leaving out to his girlfriend's again. It's [bleep]ing annoying.
  4. Well, my stats are at that point where they're "just high enough to be decent" but "too low to solo my way through anything" att 80 str 80 def 82 range 91 mage 79 constitution 87 prayer 71 summoning 60 I guess I'm almost there on the summoning, but I'll just be alching for some minor profit while seeing what's good for flipping these days.
  5. Yeah. Thanks for the suggestions. Slayer was one of the few things I actually found decent in the game. Though, recent reports say botting has destroyed that too I guess? @Mather: Thanks for the alch tip, trains my magic up and still produces a profit. Was surprised. I put in 3mil worth to buy @ 9k each. I have the natures already, so that's a plus. (I alched 10 before hand just to make sure there was a profit, then another 90, but I had hit the limit or w/e that was in place) I think it's just the fact that, back in my day, even before I met Retech and Nex, things like woodcutting, mining, and all that jazz were actually rather profitable. (back before the wild was taken away). And now, it's all gone to shit, so options are pretty limited anymore if you're wanting to train skills AND make a very nice profit in doing so. I remember when herblore used to make money too. T-T
  6. I logged on today to see what the prices of things were. I said [bleep] it after I checked out most of everything. The prices are so god awful, that any of the previous methods I used to use to money make are downright non profitable. I think I've finally given up on that game. lol
  7. lmao. I'm of age, and don't vote either. No shame in it really. I let the people who actually care about politics do the voting, as my vote would do nothing to help given I don't take the time, nor care to, to learn what it's all about.
  8. Well, if it doesn't show up now, it's definitely on your end. As I used imgur. :P
  9. 8/10, I find that picture oddly intriguing. Probably a 9/10 if knew the character from somewhere. lol
  10. I have reuploaded it as a jpeg image. Not sure if it being png had anything to do with the issue. Hopefully it's fixed now. lol
  11. It's impossible to know unless you could hack the hacker's computer. Hence, why it is to be assumed everything and anything on tip.it and it's databases has been compromised.
  12. I didn't ask for anything from him, i asked for information from someone who knows what is going on, like maybe Peter or Puremage. Transparency has been an issue with this site and many have left due to it. But this isn't a matter of transparency. His answer is MORE than sufficient, and that's all that really matters. I mean, it's the first day tip.it is back up. The admins are going to be crazy busy. Expecting them to bow to your whims so soon is just illogical. EDIT: Y_Guy, I think it's just them trying to find a reason to be mad at something, and since you can provide said useless information, or an admin hasn't yet, they need to rage over nothing. That's how it looks to me anyway.
  13. It seems some people are a bit aggravated over their lack of tip.it as of late. You want to know why he's repeating himself? Because what he said covers what you need to know. Period. When he says everything, he means EVERYTHING. The information you're looking for isn't going to be on hand by everyone, so to keep targeting him after he's given quite a sufficient answer is just rude. And the whole "You've said that 3 times now" ordeal. Ok, yeah, he did. But he shouldn't have to. You're forcing him to by constantly targeting him for giving the right answer. Just because it doesn't fit your exact desires for a response and isn't fleshed out to hold your hand doesn't mean that you have to bite his head off. Seriously.
  14. Corrrect. Such an underrated game. I was doubtful about getting it for so long and putting it off. But once I got it, I'm surprised to say that the story actually captivated me. I mean, there was a ridiculous amount of unnecessary "things" here and there, but altogether, I really loved the game. I have found my new 2nd favorite heroine. As NO ONE will ever topple Masane Amaha in my eyes. NO ONE!
  15. It might take a few days for everything to get back to normal. lol So you might not be able to see my avi for a bit. lol
  16. I was like, what the [bleep]? Then I decided to visit tip.it's facebook to get an actual update on what was going on. >:(
  17. I just checked Vix....you're going to have to change it. File size limit is 150kb. That image is 480 kb :(
  18. Suggest the game of "whoever can go the longest without drinking, wins!" Not bound to work, but it's my favorite form of drinking game. I NEVER LOSE! I'm curious what was the closest anyone got to "winning" against you. Only person who's come close is my one friend who only casually drinks when he's socializing, and even then, he doesn't drink often. So it's fair competition for someone like me, who never drinks at all. On topic: Those days where your hair just won't co-operate. It's extremely annoying, and on occasion, painful. In a not so painful way that is, just annoying stinging. lol
  19. Suggest the game of "whoever can go the longest without drinking, wins!" Not bound to work, but it's my favorite form of drinking game. I NEVER LOSE!
  20. Nothing beats owning the physical copy of something you like/love/adore....but...that is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. lol
  21. Well, from my experience 2 people makes for a somewhat boring game, as you only tend to end up with a single linear plot to participate in, when with a larger number of players you end up with a handfull of plots that the various characters get involved in and can have conflict over, though one plot does end up taking the role of the central storyline (I tend to manage to hijack the plot by being the only one who has a long running plan for my plots). Archi: on the two game systems definately Star Control, no major preference on the focus of such a game. It's not a game at all. Just there needs to be a system in place beforehand so that people can find someone to write with. It's standard roleplaying, no gaming at all to it. Hence why it needs to be limited to 2 people. A standard roleplay with more than that is bound to fail.
  22. Well, since the recent merging of the Tavern with it's sub-forums. I now assume normal roleplays are to take place here as well. I've been meaning to propose an idea that could liven up the Tavern a bit. There could be roleplays made that are between 2-3 people at most, no GMs, just role plays, and you may use this thread or a new one to ask for a partner/discuss setting before starting up the role play. This way, multiple role-plays could be going on at once, with lower "players" involved per, which is usually best for a Roleplay. This system of only having 2 people, MAYBE 3 tops allows for us tavernites to have partners that would want to participate in a similar area of fantasy. For example, if there are 2 ppl who dislike magic, but like the medieval setting, they could start up something. Not only does it involve both of them, but it also involves the rest of the Tavern, and any visitors by allowing them to read what both participants are coming up with. It's just an idea, and not a well explained one yet either. I'm just brainstorming atm. But it also deals with the whole issue that Icu mentioned above. If a role play gets like that between just 2 people, they'll lose interest in maintaining the roleplay, and fast. I've seen it happen. So the roleplay would die fast, and they could go off in search of another writing partner if they don't like each other's style of "play". At the same time though, less people in a particular roleplay will steer the participants away from that kind of behavior as well. At least I hope it would.
  23. Yeah, I thought Puella Magi would be more up your alley. Haruhi is a pretty good one too, I must say, but it might have too scattered a genre for your taste. Gurren Lagann on the other hand is the epitome of MANLINESS, so it doesn't appeal to everyone. For some reason. I'd say, try not to look up anything about Puella Magi beforehand. Unless you already have, in which case tsk tsk. <_< Also don't let the genre make you prejudiced against it, it BREAKS the genre into tiny little bite-size pieces. I'd say at least three episodes before you should make a decision. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: Don't worry, there's not NEARLY as much pink as the opening suggests. Or fanservice. I watched Ouran High School Host Club, and loved it. A little pink isn't going to scare me off. lmao. And I love Black Butler, fanservice won't scare me off either.
  24. I might watch the former, just because it appears to have a fitting style/story, or w/e, going by your word on it that is. The next two don't sound as appealing to me, and definitely not the last one.
  25. ANYTHING is possible, ESPECIALLY when it involves the internet. Ask a professional, however unlikely it may be ANY site can give you a virus. Not because they inherently contain viruses, but because it's entirely possible for even just one single page to have some little bit of coding stitched in by a bored hacker. As I've said, it's probably not likely to happen (depending on the number of sites, trusted or not, that you regularly browse and the time you spend on the internet), I've just had [cabbage] luck on the subject. There hasn't been a single virus in my memory haven't been able to track down to its source. I test these things, and learn from them. I'm not so much paranoid save for not downloading messy torrents, as prepared to deal with what does come along. I TOLD YOU I [bleep]ING TOLD YOU STEAM AND YOUTUBE JUST GOT HACKED *goes to youtube regardless and lolz*
