  1. Before I pitch the meet to a girl online, I ask her if she has any questions for me, so she feels like she's "screened" me. Tonight a girl asked, "if you were a tree, what would you have carved into your trunk?" Dafuq? I told her a huge branch and two acorns  She thought it was funny and clever. So instead of pitching the meet, I decided to ask her one more question: if you were stranded alone on a desert island... Would you drink your own pee??? ...She never responded. >_> Women. Amirite??
  2. Yeah looks like I can do it on resizeable if the screen occupies about 2/3 of my screen at 1600x900. Better than fixed, at least :D I'll try out full screen again when I adjust to how the tile icons look
  3. Is there any way to make the interface in Full-Screen similar to how it is in Fixed? In other words, have the 8 "tiles" on top and 8 tiles on bottom? As opposed to 16 in a straight line? I'm just having a hard time adjusting with all of the tiles in a straight line in full-screen/resizeable mode >_>
  4. It happened this patch, but was on to do list for Jagex for a while. I wish it teleported us directly to the port though as it's kind of overkill to have four teleports (home tele, cabbage tele, spirit tree tele and port tele) going to the same area. And charter ships :P
  5. Are the lifeboat and 50% thingies still permanent?
  6. Jump over the wall...?
  7. EDIT: FIXED ON MY OWN. Went into the BIOS and enabled the integrated graphics "always." Right now my computer monitor is plugged into the DVI port on my Radeon HD 7850. I want to also have my TV connected to my computer at the same time, so I can watch Youtube and stuff on my TV instead of my monitor. Problem is, my only remaining ports on my video card are HDMI. And I don't have any HDMI cables or adapters (not to mention the TV doesn't have HDMI either; it's old). However, my integrated graphics card has another DVI port, which I tried to use, but my computer didn't detect it (I have all the proper adapters and stuff for composite video -> DVI). Is it possible to have my monitor running from my Radeon and my TV running from my integrated graphics card simultaneously? If so, how do I do it? If it helps, some of my specs are: Radeon HD 7850 Motherboard Windows 8 (64 bit)
  8. Called it! Sorta. :P
  9. Held it for a whopping 0.0001 milliseconds! :P
  10. Dumb and Dumber, hands down
  11. What happens to your items/grave if you die at the KK?
  12. Just logged on to OKCupid and found this: Everyone's photos have been disabled for the day. [spoiler=Contains R-rated dialogue]
  13. TL;DR: If you're not happy with your life, you're doing something wrong. Figure out what you're doing wrong, and do something about it. Because it's bad for your health not to eat. Unhealthiness leads to unhappiness. Because it's bad for your health not to sleep. Unhealthiness leads to unhappiness. Because positive social interactions make you happy, both in the short-term and long-term. Everybody should keep studying/learning even after they graduate (or drop out) from school. I wrote about this in detail here. Only buy it if it's "worth it." In other words, if you need a car, then you're probably better off buying a shitty car that'll last you a few years than going a few years without a car. If you're talking about a new computer or something, then you can probably do without it. If you know it's going to be obsolete soon, then do some research such that you get the most bang for your buck. This isn't something that I can explain to you via words. It's an emotion you'll have to feel for yourself. Here's a quote from one of my favorite movies to give you an idea of what I'm talking about, though: "I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if this time next month there'll be people duoing Nex and the KK in barrows.
  15. Was at my friend's apartment last night with his girlfriend. They had me watch some TV show called Rules of Engagement. The show centered around two couples (one engaged, one married) and a single guy. The engaged couple follows the usual modern Hollywood archetype of the smart, strong, independent woman constantly rolling her eyes at her dim-witted fiancee's wimpy, idiotic behavior. The single dude was portrayed as a womanizer, and therefore was also portrayed as unhappy, insecure, and afraid of settling down in order to find "true happiness." I can almost guarantee that by the end of the series, they'll have him fall in love with some girl and get married to her, putting his "childish ways" behind him. My friends asked me why I didn't like it. I told them I'd probably have to be in a relationship in order to "appreciate" it :P
  16. My favorite "fight" ever :D
  17. I asked my professional buddy to describe hypertrophy in a nutshell. He said, "cell growth." lol Generally when it comes to strength and size, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You focus on one of the two, and the other one will follow along with less results. In other words, if you train only to become stronger, you can definitely be sure that you'll look stronger eventually, albeit you won't look as strong as someone whose primary goal is to just look strong, rather than be strong. And of course, if you try to look strong, you'll end up being strong eventually too-- just not as strong as someone who doesn't care about looks. In my case, I've always focused primarily on strength instead of size. If you really want to get strong, really fast, then check this out. After my gym membership expired, I began doing bodyweight exercises from home with that routine. Within three months, I could do a chin-up with one arm. Because of that, my biceps and lats got much stronger (and also more defined). After switching to this workout, I'll probably never go back to weightlifting/gyms ever again.
  18. If I get a trait from a voyage that decreases the chances of death, will that "cancel out" her current increased risk of death? Or is it impossible to have "contradictory" traits like that?
  19. Finally got a 10k captain today. Her traits: Mutinous: increased risk of captain death Glutton: reduced speed Jesus, is every 10k captain cursed?
  20. I wonder if it will be possible to get 100% in every mission at the end of the pincers with maxed out stats
  21. I would put that golem with your best crew on a mission with 0% success rate to test it. (only being half-sarcastic if you can't tell)
  22. I'd completely overhaul the game such that everything that's considered an "achievement" right now is just a fun byproduct of playing the game recreationally. In other words, most of your XP would come as a result of playing minigames and stuff. I'd definitely remove skillcapes and possibly the high scores as well (or, at least the rank aspect of it).
  23. Not sure if this topic's been made before since I never visit this forum. But yeah, if you were suddenly in charge of all RS-related developments, how would you change things, if at all? And more importantly: why?
  24. Which is about as much as WoW could achieve with its Armoury app. Not actually playing, but checking logs and planning future trips. That said, such an app wouldn't boost RuneScape's popularity, because it would be specifically aimed at people who were already playing the game. Well part of advertising/marketing is attracting new clients. Another part is keeping current clients interested, which wouldn't be a bad idea since it seems that many users are becoming disenchanted with the game.
