It's about .02$ lost on credit, lol. Depends. It's not about dollars and cents. Some people can only play during these hours. This will cause some players to lose an entire day. Not to mention that it could be down for who knows how long. They really should credit everyone a day. That's just how a responsible company handles things.

I don't remember, I think it was Nomad, but right after they released a quest last year the game crashed. I don't remember which quest. Everything else worked, just not the game.

I know what people think with the refunds and how much you're actualy losing out and all that. However, if Jagex was a company that cared, they would make it up to their players. There is nothing difficult or wasteful about crediting any account with a current valid membership an additional day of membership to said accounts. That would show they care. ... But they're more likely to go "Aww, we're trying. Quit yelling at us. You're hurting our feelings. We're going home!"

True dat -- Jagex is more like the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation ... <_< Exactly! That's why people are so shocked that the Livid Farm actually works that they overlook the fact that it sucks. OMG, I just figured out Jagex: It is very easy to be blinded to the essential uselessness of their updates by the sense of achievement you get from getting them to work at all. In other words - and this is the rock solid principle on which the whole of the Jagex's success is founded - their fundamental design flaws are completely hidden by their superficial design flaws

That's the joke. Jagex has become so bogged down, bureaucratic, has so many different teams, etc. that their product is suffering.

Yes Swedishboy, it's H2G2. I've long held the belief that Jagex has been taken over by Vogons.

It's the same in many other minigames or diversion areas. Makes you almost want to leave entirely, eh? I'm going to play my backlog of games and won't log on much except to check on updates. I've pretty much exhausted what I want to do. Too much to hope that Jagex will fix this problem within the year. What I'd like is for Jagex to just step up, this once, and be honest with their customers. Just once. Wow, you must have a real sense of humor. ;)

The main problem with Livid is that it, like Grinding, degradeable armor you fix at POH, etc. is that they use the same mechanics over and over and over and over ad nauseum. They're doesn't seem to be an original idea left over there.

I've been waits *years* since Construction was released for some other God stuff in the Chapel in my POH, but here we are, many moons later, still stuck with the same 3 + Bob...

Let's be honest here. Jagex isn't fighting bots. They don't care. They just want to pump out content, milk the game for everything that it's worth, and move on. They know this game slowing down. They know it's got a shelf life and sooner, rather than later, it'll be over. Whenever you hear Jagex start talking about a new game of theirs, you can be sure RS is gonna be dead 3 months after.

But they can't tell the guys who are botting firemaking? The ones that follow me in a line because I'm lighting fires where they were coded to do it?
