Blade said my point. Clans have no business in Runescape and for good reason. I like the idea that caters to solo players who like to play *along* next to other players, not necessarily *with* other players. Jagex is shooting themselves in the foot fawning over all these damn clans. Yes, I've been in them. For Runescape, they suck. They suck so hard they'd make a pornstar jealous.

Yes and it's one of the worst game's we've ever laid our eyes on LOL. I think the reason most of us don't leave is because we (the ones playing for years) don't have the time to start a game that's actually good, plus this game is cheap - and you get what you pay for. :lol: plz Skyrim come out sooner :pray: Yep this game is pretty [cabbage]ty and the worst game I ever played. If you like games where everything is [cabbage] go play more rs. Yet you STILL post on a Runescape fansite where nobody cares or wants to hear how much you hate the game. Personally, I think any new game that has the Jagex logo anywhere near it will be doomed to failure. Their reputation is too tarnished.

So if these virtual items are the exclusive property of Jagex, could I sue them on a totally unrelated matter, and accept the items on the game in lieu of monetary payment? Perhaps for some reason Mod Poppy sues for sexual harrassment, wins, and is awared 42 Pink Party Hats, 12 Christmas Crackers, 19 Furies, and a Tuna?

I know it takes a lot for graphics to do up a whole batch of movement, clipping, etc when they make one of these, but if they were making a stand alone single cell image, would it take much effort to just do up an image of what it would actually look like instead of concept art?

Apparently it also just takes one person to ruin a game. I think his name is Gerhard... :unsure: I'm confused as to what has been ruined in this game. Sure Jagex has let a few bugs slip, but we are all human. The workers at Jagex are all people who work to pay their bills and watch the clock until they can go home. Even the workers who love their career anticipate getting home. C'est la vie. But since his takeover, the quality in terms of new content, Quality Assurance, services, and pretty much everything else has taken a nose dive. He has cause what I think is irreparable harm to their game's reputation and will lead it to ruination. -edit- Not to mention being marred by scandals.

I don't think it is great. I think WoW is a good game for those people who enjoy that sort of thing. The thing is there are *dozens* of games trying to be WoW. I'd rather not see Runescape become like that.

Devaluing noncombats seems to be Jagex's course lately. Skills are either getting useless or molded into extensions of combat. And yes, I'm mad bro. I personally see them taking many of their game mechanics and trying to make them more WoW-like. I think they seriously wish their game was WoW in the way people play it obsessively and for hours at a time.

Won't make any difference. People will continue to pay for a game of falling quality out of sheer stubborness. That only encourages the direction they're taking the game.

Me: Hey Jagex, want to buy my '05Focus for you to use as a company car? J-mod: Um, 50 pounds? Me: Um, no, that's pretty low. J-mod: 100,000 pounds? Me: You have no idea what a middle ground is, do you? J-mod: How do you think I got this job? <_<

If you use Iron ore for Iron Ingots grade i, then you can make the burial armor for some much slower, but much cheaper exp than Iron Plates, that is if anyone is cheap like me.

Can we just go ahead, end the charade, and rename the Dev Blog tab the "Clan Update" tab since it's all they talk about anymore?

Jagex often overlooks the details. And by details, I mean the entire point. Honestly how they manage to do it all the time now just befuddles me. I'll use an example: I'm an extremely picky eater. When I get fast food, if I get a hamburger, it's always ketchup only. That's it. Now when people screw up my order, as they often do since they're teenagers who don't care, it means they had to go out of their way to screw it up. It's not like they left something off. A burger starts as a burger, add ketchup, now stop. To screw it up requires extra effort. This is Jagex now. Making extra effort to screw things up. And I'd like someone to respond to this please. Also, is the goal of the Community Management team to try and manage to ignore the community? :mellow:

The question now is: Out of which J-Mod's ass do they pull their numbers out of?
