Well, think of it, when using a bot, how long does it take to regain that level? Not very long. In my opinion, if a gold farmer farms the crafting guild, he's mining level should be set to 39 and then he should loose the ability to mine the ores in the guild.. Maybe a level reset ruins their game, but their bots ruin our games. Every single xp of mine is hard earned the right way and I hate seeing bots running around, thats just spitting at all of the real skillers. And in addition.. Bots is against the rules, so they should actually be permanent banned from the game, but that would be to harsh. :) An even better solution would be to make skills more un-bottable. I don't support botting but a lot of skills are very monotonous and easy to write botting scripts for.

[/hide] right because any true scaper can play 24h a day consistently, yea theyll get a whole 30m xp before they die...and no i dont mean in rs If you sleep 7 hours of your day, and go to work or study for 6 hours (which by the way is quite low, I sleep like 8-9 hours on a normal day and work for 8 hours), you're left with 11 hours. So, if you spent 90,9% of your free time playing RuneScape, I think that's quite a bit no-lifing. Well, it's fine if it's what they like doing.

Gun control in theory is good if everyone could be prevented from owning guns, but unfortunately that's impossible. Gun control only makes normal people more defenseless and allows criminals to obtain weapons just as easily.

Quests can and should progress in difficulty, but do high requirements actually add anything to the game? As far as im concerned, any quest requirement which requires an excessive amount of grind (excessive is kinda based on how long/good the quest is), doesn't actually add anything to the game, and only really makes high levels happy while saying screw you to everyone else. As for boss fights taking no skill, well that could really be a problem with bosses. If your only solution to that is to force people into grinding a skill into the high 90's in order to add "difficulty" then thats not the right way to go about it. I for one would have more fun in a quest if i beat a boss with reflexes and skill, not with grinding which apparently makes the quest "harder". Agreed, most of the time a skill requirement in a quest is used one time just so it can be a requirement. Quests should be about fun puzzles and combat. Not gathering 50 items and having to grind skills to get them done. I don't even do quests anymore because they're so redundant.

I agree with you RaudhrGarm. Quests shouldn't require any skills except combat. Most of the time it feels like the skills are included in 1 part of the quest just so players would have to grind more.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I think of the future all the time. I'm pretty worried about the state of resources. I know that that's dealing with a wider scale, but it affects everyone.

I only use tip.it for the forums and RSWiki for information. I don't really think tip.it can compete with RSWiki on information, but tip.it has some useful calculators that I use.

The plan to update make-x is really nice.

I'm not going to vote in that poll. The current Dragon Scimitar looks fine. When they update graphics, they should simply up the polygon count of existing models, not completely change them.

Any bugs are the fault of Jagex. Sometimes players don't even know if what they're doing is considered a bug or not. Banning people for using bugs is a bad policy.
