Yeah, my school only offers up to AB Calculus. One of the middle schools does let one or two students to skip two years of math and do algebra in seventh grade. I was one of the two so now I have senior year open to do some other course (yes, I'm only one year ahead because I didn't take the test I needed to early enough :( .) I'm planning on taking some online course during school and teaching myself some math. Any suggestions... I have taken a student-tought linear algebra course at MIT, but understood hardly any of it (although my school is funny and does geo before algebra 2 - the prereq. was geo, which was assuming I had done algebra 2 already.) It was still rather enjoyable though, and nobody there really understood it, even two seniors headed to WPI and Harvard. Also, what's the difference between AB Calculus and BC Calculus? Does BC teach the same stuff as AB and then some, or is it another AP course that you would take after AB? Thanks PDM

Yeah, my school has quite a lot of idiots too... not too many fights though, plenty of drugs though :x I guess it kind of depends on the nature of the prank. If the prank is well thought out and well intentioned, I like it because of all of the challenge and team work that goes into planning it, doing it, and keeping it hush-hush. Some senior pranks aren't that great though, just some idiots saying "ha ha it would be funny to punch a kid." I also think that seniors should be allowed to do these well thoughtout pranks because of all of the things they learn in terms of planning/teamwork/etc. Yes, it will have to be cleaned up, but are they really "criminals" now? Sure, try to stop them if they are cought doing it - just adds to the challange of having to be sneaky, etc - but don't charge them, just prevent it from happening. PDM

At my school the seniors graduated last Friday and didn't do all that great of a prank (just let some crickets loose inside school.) However... Two years ago however the seniors did a really good prank. Apparently there is some law in the town from many years ago that says if any student rides a horse to school it is the school's responsibility to care for it, feed it, and lodge it during the day. Well a senior found that law and get a bunch of people to ride horses to school. I have no idea where they got the horses, but somehow they did and five people (about) rode them to school. So, all of the janitors had to care for the horses during the day. Anyways, with all of the janitors busy there was nobody to stop the seniors from throwing confeti and stuff :D And wow trapical, that is probably one of the best planned pranks I have ever heard of. It is simply amazing how so many people worked together like that - great job :D :D :D PDM

Maybe instead of punishing these people like adults we try to stop them from repeating their actions. How many seven year olds from stable familys continually kill people? Obviousley something is wrong if they do so lets try to fix up their life instead of ending it. Kids don't deserve to be punished like adults because they are still very bendable. If their outlook on life and humans can be changed they will act well. Off topic: I think this for all ages. What problems does the death penalty and life in prision solve? None. It is really just a form of revenge for those affected. Why not make them a better person instead?

It somewhat depends on whether or not you get how programs work with their if-then, etc phrases and can figure out how to get stuff done using them. If you aren't all that great then I would recomend some C (nothing advanced, just understanding loops.) Then maybe PHP/MySQL or javascript would be good (there is a much greater demand for web design than other programing.) I'm learning PHP/MySQL right now and am enjoying it a lot - unfortunatley the course isn't free :( - and tought myself basic CSS recently.

Hmmm, ok I'm not exactly sure what you mean by some of this. Do you just want the entire picture cropped with the name and a few other things or do you want the person used on a background I make? If you do want a background that I make, you could search google for halo renders and probably find something good easily. Ok, Great PDM

Well, I suppose there are two options for him: 1 - "cut" him out which would be ok - might look a little weird in some places (especially the hair) and will take a long time. 2 - merge him into the background so that there is no distinct line surrounding him - be kind of weird with him being slightly fuzzy Neither of these options sound that great if you ask me, so what I would recomend is that I just take his head and merge it into the sig. Of course, then the problem would be the fact that the top of his head is out of the picture. So, if you have other pictures of this guy it would be great - the best would be where he is all in the picture and infront of a solid color background. It will probably be fine however if you just get a full picture of him, no matter what is behind him and then I can merge his head in. So yeah, what sounds good? PDM
