Yeah, I think the computer manufactureres try to trick us by putting stuff that sounds like photoshop on but oh well. I highly recomend the gimp and you can find many brushes and tutorials for it on google PDM

Nazgul could you find the font name on dafonts.com so that I use the right one. Also, do you want me to replicate that banner thingy you have or make a sig. If you want a sig, include the information in the top post. If you want a banner, at least explain it more so that I know what you are talking about. Yes, I've had a similar experience happen to me. I spent 2 hours caning (asking people to donate change) outside of a bagel shop for amnesty international and sudan. Out of the two hours I spent there, about 75% of people donated a dollar or so. However, 2/3rds of the people who donated gave me the money and walked away, as if they were obliged to give me money to show that they were nice even though they didn't want to. I could have been holding a can saying support the natzis on it and those people still would have given me money. The other 1/3rd asked what they were donating to before they donated which was good for them. However, out of those 2 hours of canning, only 2 people asked anything more. 1 person asked if we had more info, etc and the other asked how much of the donation goes actually goes to the cause and not processing fees etc. (100%.) It really is sad what people in the US do to show their "patriotism" and "love of freedom" PDM

Yeah, hopefully the above will happen. I doubt any more noticible changes will occur in the human species over time because medicine and health care has gotten rid of most natural selection in humans. PDM

(if they look the same press refresh) Also, here is a sliglhtly modified sig: It is in png, the render is sharper, and the text is blended. Any thoughts now? PDM

Simple to say, what he means was to do more work on the texts and render. The render could be blended to the bg to make the sig look more "alive" and the texts, you could do some Blending mode to it as well. Bad quality, firstly it was saved in .jpg, totally ruined the entire image. Secondly the texts need some more work. Yeah, the picture looks very blury. As for the text, do you think I should change the color and opacity slightly? PDM

Nah, I want to leave the US. Too corrupt/self important for me. Neither the republicans or democrats are good. Usually the dems and reps agree on issues; health care, taxes, etc. I want to live in Ireland when I have a chance and then work there or somewhere else in the UK. Thats a good point hohto about people just being manipulated. One else would you propose instead though? One good thing about that though would be that people would realize that they are being jipped and try to change it instead of the current situation where most americans think everything is fine and don't realize they are being manipulated. I got into it a bit last year but haven't played much since except for one week when I got into it again. Personally I like the online multiplayer games the best. Unlimited resources are pretty fun too. PDM

If that is your property, then they are not allowed to use anything in it without your consent to search it. So make sure you don't say that they can search it. Your teacher can search it but since it is your property they can not use anything in it against you without a warrant or your permision. They can get you in trouble for other things like passing notes and stuff. Clarification: They are allowed to look through the note book. However unless they had a warrant or your permision BEFORE they searched it, any evidince they found within it was found wrongly and can not be used against you. It is kind of the same for if a police officer wanted to search your house, your bag, etc. They have to ask for your permision if the search is to count. Since it is a school employe, they are not bound by the police's rule and can thus look at it with out giving you that warning. Make sure you tell them that they can not look through it and get some people to hear you say it. Look it up though, there is probably more that I don't know PDM

I'd say you should just play whatever instrument would be best for the music you like. If you like jazz, don't play the cello, etc. etc. Other than that, piano is pretty good and can play just about every style of music. Myself, I play the alto sax, piano, and am learning guitar. I rather enjoy all of them. PDM
