I suggested this idea a while back. I think it would be cool if "visible" xp was capped at 200m but then ranks could still change in any given skill based on invisible xp. This would work exactly the same as regular xp however when you looked your self up in the highscores it would just display as 200m. I think with would be entertaining because anyone competing for rank 1 in a skill would never know how far ahead the rank in front of them is. They could be 10k xp ahead, they could be 10m. However people that compete for permanent ranks would certainly not like this idea. Yea and most people that get 200m's compete for permanent ranks. But I do agree that your idea or Jebrim idea (prestige system) would be amazing. I'm curious if they going to make any changes about that when Suomi hits 200m all.

My problem is solved thanks to Thai. Thanks alot <3333

I tried to calc it and got a really weird number... Can you try?

From your post, what you describe as accuracy, seems to be a failure rate. (This does not matter for the margin of error, but it's something to keep in mind.) This margin of error you're talking about is known as a 'confidence interval' in statistics. For this particular application, you'll want confidence intervals for the binomial distribution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binomial_proportion_confidence_interval In this case, the 95% confidence interval is: 0.683 +- 1.96*sqrt(0.683*(1-0.683)/{number of trials}) = 0.683 +- 1.96*sqrt(0.683*(1-0.683)/477) = 0.683 +- 0.042 So, with 95% certainity you can say the failure rate is between 64.1% and 72.5% If you want to know, for example, how large your sample should be to know with 95% certainity, the failure rate within 1%, you solve 0.01/2 = 1.96*sqrt((0.683*(1-0.683))/n) (wolfram alpha says n=33269.9) Sorry but... What's sqrt?

I'm trying to find the % of success when opening urns at Pyramid Plunder. Can anyone explain me how to calculate the margin of error? I have so far 477 data points: based in 151 urns I failed 326 times. That gives me 68.3% accuracy. My question is what's the margin of error of this? Back when Xensure/Thai was making their model, I remenber Xensure post saying that would need 5k tasks tracked to have a x% margin of error. How people calculate this margin of error and the sample needed? Thanks in advance.

Jeez, Gemeos2 was simply answering this question by putting it in a different perspective. Jebrim has more TMOA points because his 33 points includes all 3 of his accounts whereas Broman just has his 1 account. So Gemeos compared it with his timecalc by just stating Jebrim's time left as if Jebrim spent the surplus hours on agility on other skills instead. Kinda seems like you guys read Gemeos' post w/o reading it in context and decided to attack what he said <_< . Thanks. Couldn't say better myself. I would suggest end this discussion and get back to the real topic.

My calculator use tons of things... Effigys, xp rates of normal skilling, etc etc. It isn't as simple as that I'm afraid.

Added in TMOA points, which is a system that tracks progess to 200m's and is used to create a clan hiscores. Money has some value in it too, thus giving Jdel higher points. If I made the increments smaller than the 40m/50m/100m increments that exist atm, it'd show more overall account-wise, but the purpose isn't for that as much as it is to value milestones to 200m Xp. That's why Kingduffy is low, because his base is up there but doesn't specialize in anything. Just thought it'd be interesting to see. :) I'm at 33 TMOA points btw. Can you explain your logic of how TMOA points work? Are you ahead of Broman because he can't afford buyables or what? Just don't understand how at all how you would be ahead of Broman and Duffy with your exp. Jebrim I needs 14032 hours to 200m all. If we reduce the 5556 hours spent in Jebrim II (and 76 hours saved craft), that's 8401 "hours left". If we reduce the 598 hours spent in Jebrim III so far, that's 7803 "hours left" Jebrim would be #2 in the time calc list if he didn't stick with Agility. How is it possible that there is 5556 hours spent on Jebrim II? Assuming agility is 71k/H (?) it would be ~2800 hours, not 5556 EDIT: And if ur just counting his total time spent in overall, with low rates in agility such as Brimhaven, it would be same to calc every1's overall time played. Suomi has 980 days btw, that would be like 23500 hours, Gf o, my bad. It would be 10657 hours. I was just trying to explain why Jebrim have more points than Broman.

Obv you have some reading problems: He DID stick with agility, so he is NOT #2 in the time calc list. Nice rage with no reason. You are just agreeing with me.

Back in Suomi days, max agil xp/hr was 69k, fish 71k, etc. Also, I don't include quests in my time calculator and you need atleast 250QP to Slayer.

Some people in my list post/pm me asking for their time just for curiosity. Instead of having the work to pm them all everytime they want to know, I prefer just post here. Sorry for any inconvenience.

15153 hours and 30.7b cost. If that's the case, how come Roger Al needs another 30.9b? Everyone's guess was wrong  Roger Al used some DK lamps in Slayer so now he needs more hours at crawlers to end melees.

15153 hours and 30.7b cost.

Reduced the Xp rate of Agility to 72k due to recent updates. I can't intruduce Book of Char in the time calc because every player plays different amount of hours per day. If anyone, probably Dapledo.

Says the person getting 200m skills in easy skills and not even maxed overall total. I don't want to start a discussion about me so just end this here. Fast skills are more efficient since a update to speed slow skills reduce more hours than in a fast skill. Also, I don't care about maxed total lvl. 200m Dungeoneering would give me about 2m Cooking Xp, so I didn't wasted much more than 2 hours. Also, I belive Dungeoneering will get more updates in the future and eventually the Xp rate will be higher. Besides that, I hate Dungeoneering. I wasn't flaming Dragonseance, I even have him added. I was just saying that I clearly can't understand how people and him self call effiicient. I don't even care if he is efficient or not, but don't say he is when he isn't. This is just my opinion, I'm not flamming. Also, don't make a big deal out of this. I know many people favorite skill is Drama, but please avoid training that this time

I have no idea about gp/hr from Corp but Glacors wouldn't be a bad option. Good effigys, cash/hr and charms.
-
I don't see how people and himself say that Dragonseance is efficiet now I see that Fletching method.
-
I thought the max was ~275k duo? Something changed? I did monkeys myself and have no knowledge of PP whatsoever, bare with me. Sceptre of gods.
-
I have been getting 300k Thiev XP/hr solo at PP now. Same xp/hr of monkey guards and much easier.
-
Kingduffy could easly be #1 in that list.
-
Jake isn't going to 200m all.
-
I don't know what people should I check highscores to make that. Also, I already do time/cost calc updates. Finally and sadly, I am 1.6m Thiev Xp late at this moment, can't spend time doing that, sorry. We will wait until you come back, I'm afraid. PS: Sorry for taking so long to answer.

Not sure if it has been posted already or not, but Maka got perm banned from here. Oh Dame, thanks for letting me know :o Yeah A13d quit the thread, he posted why a little while back. Makaveli did get permbanned from here but he might lurk still, it's just another forum ban for him tho (he's banned from hlf too). Also who else is having fun with the skoll boots? http://puu.sh/dHPM <----- wat do i have to do. You are using skoll boots. Even if you didn't, it's all about xp/week or even month. It's like when people say "hmg, i got x better xp than you when i timed one hour" but 1hr sample means nothing, everyone have lucky and bad hours. The average max xp/hr and consistent high xp gains is what you should care about. Just my opinion.
