I remenber reading from Zarfot that str bonus of Fire Cape saves almost 5 hours each 13m xp. Fire cape gives 4 str bonus. 5/4= 1.25 hours saved from each str bonus each 13m XP Goliath gloves gives 1 more str bonus than Barrows gloves. It takes around 6 hours now to get it, according to what I heard. Recharge is minimal time spent now, won't even count it. (200m/13m)*1.25=15.38 hours saved from each str bonus when going from 0xp to 200m Slayer. 15.38-6=9.38 saved if you include time spent getting it. So, for those people who doesn't like to read much, Goliath gloves saves around 9 hours when going from 0xp to 200m Slayer. Remenber also the Melee XP you get from Dominion tower because It will save time in melee training after 200m Slayer. Also you get dreadnips that I don't know how much they affect Slayer training. PS- If were really consider DT the optimal method to train melee after Slayer (and I don't see why not), It's actually no time spent getting these Goliath gloves. Jagex also saved around 76 hours when making the new cape.

Would dreadnips be worth it for someone going from 15m to 200m Slayer XP? Don't forget to consider the update: "It's now possible to skip taunt and victory cutscenes, so you can get right into the action or straight on to your next match" I'm not sure how much it affects... Don't forget the XP rewards... ;)

He's getting 100k attack XP/hr now because he's using rapier.

Thieving is 300k/hr with Sceptre of Gods and 265k without. I would use the rate with Sceptre of gods =P Also, can you make the calculations for someone that have all non-buyable skills open? It would probably be better to wait for more data from Suomi before expeculating anyway...

Banking is like 30 secounds? Doesn't have any effect in terms of Xp rates. But it helps in camping and Thieving. My Thieving trips are 45mins longer now. So, it's 585mins long instead of 540mins. As you can see, it won't affect anything skilling related. Btw, your trips can be longer if you have Seer's vilage elite tasks completed. I don't have because I consider that Xp waste. After you complete those tasks, you get a enchanted excalibur that heals you 400 instead of 200. I need prayer renewals because of that which cost bunyips space.... So, if you have the 400 excalibur, your trips should be 630mins long now. Probably you can solo nex now for example. Why would you pray at pyramid plunder In the last room, middle chest in the 7th thing I open. If I get sacarabs, it will hit me every tick until I open 9 more urns (because that's when I exit pyramid). This only applys for you if you use the route I found, which is the best one. You can also skip the chest but that would be XP waste.

Does anyone else have 2 other than: ldy princess danstool5 islam truth (aka lover romeo) jebrim (assuming you count wc, fish, rc, mine, agility and slay as the slow stats) edit: by that definition suomi has 4... so what are you counting? I don't think you should consider Slayer "slow" because of the time saved from effigys. Actually I'm excluding Woodcutting since that is faster than the other 5, although I agree it is definitely worth considering. If you exclude Wcing, Romeo and me are the only ones with 2 slow 200m's other than Suomi. That shows just how unique of a player he is in his own right, excluding even being #1 overall atm. Also Barbarian course just got nerfed. It takes 3 ticks longer to complete a lap, making it 69k Xp/hr again like it was when Suomi got 200m Agility. It's still slightly better than Gnome. The patch notes say the pit has increased its Xp rewards, but I'm not sure by how much. I don't use it though. Rope didn't get fixed... right? Maybe now is a really good idea to start use the pit.

Not being macro efficient is time waste. Zarfot was macro and micro efficient.

The fact that someone got 55k (or whatever you/someone else said) doesn't mean much unless they have a fairly large sample size. According to Dragonseance, they tested for 50 hours.

110 rocktails/hr is a average hour.

You want to know the average max xp rate. Not the min of the max neither the max of the max. For example, Foot got 260k-320k (or something like this) when hunting, althought the max average Xp rate was 295k, and that is what everyone use to calc anything (or atleast should). The min of the max and max of max are irrelevant.

He tested without urns, ofc. I cant say for magic logs and runite because I don't know the original Xp rates. That got nerfed months ago.

42k fish xp/hr with no aura and urns. That's 110 successfull chances per hour. You have 1200 chances per hour. 10% of it (10% aura) is 120. 110+120= 230 Each rocktail fish is 380 xp 230*380= 87400 xp/hr with no urns. If you add urns 87400*1.2=104880 fishing rocktail xp/hr with 10% aura and urns. Each tier 4 aura, will take 10 months to get because of points. Max points per month is 15k and we only get 11k yet. So Dragonseance plan will take 40 months to get all auras. If you get 110/1200 catches (9,166% success) and the aura increases 'fishing roll' by 10% you will catch 10% more fish, since your success rate is under 50% you can simply multiply that. I think it's unlikely they upped the chance for a resource by ten percent points. Unless someone's done testing and found that they got that much extra xp/hr, I'd assume it's not worth fishing rocktails. According to dragonseance, he (or clanmates) tested 3% aura and got 55480 xp/hr. 55480/380=146 fish/hr 0.03*1200=36 Original rate is 110 fish/hr so it's confirmed.

Fish Xp/hr with no urns and aura - 71k Foot told me over 2 years ago that he used to get 68 xp/bait 1200 Fishing chances per hour 71k/68=1044 successful chances per hour with no aura 1044+120= 1164 successful chances per hour with aura 1164*68=79150 xp/hr with aura and no urns 79150*1.2= 95k xp/hr with urns and aura and not vlueing time saved agil. If you value agility 72k/hr: You get 11:1 fish:agil ratio with no urns 79150/11= 7200 agil xp/hr which is 10min saved per hour training Agility. ((60+10)*79150)/60= 92.3k fishing Xp/hr with no urns, with aura and valueing time saved agil 92300+15850= 108.2k fishing Xp/hr with urns, with aura and valueing time saved agil -- It's confirmed that there will be a new Agility course this year. If Agility get's faster, when you have tier 4 aura, it's better to train in Rocktails. In my opinion there will be new Fishing methods to allow non-afk fishing always be the best option.

On the topic of auras, has it been confirmed that a 5% increase means a 5% absolute increase rather than a 5% increase over your natural chance to hit? For example on rocktail, say you have a 10% chance to catch one. Then would it be a 5% boost to your chance to catch (10.5%) or a 5% boost to the absolute chance to catch (15%)? I always imagined it would be the first. If it's the second, auras will be a much bigger deal than I imagined. It's secound confirmed in HLF.

Prayer Cook Herblore Construction Fletching Range Magic Hitpoints ^ that's 1.6B exp that could be done within 6 months fairly easily from 0 exp. Prayer - 210 hours Cook - 240 hours Herblore - 256 hours Construction - 222 hours Fletching - 296 hours Range - 285 hours Magic - 500hours Hitpoints - 0 Total - 1909 hours Around 19 weeks if no-lifing. that's 4.75 months. This is assuming you can keep max xp rates. Less time if you use your RAF bonus.
