  1. Hit the nail on the head ^^ Being DIY, you can ignore the economy collapsing/items skyrocketing, just do whatever you want really  It might be slower, but it's very satisfying when you finally unlock something.
  2. Probably being stupid here, but... People use a mithril crossbow to stun core because of it's lower accuracy, right? So why not use bronze, since bolt activation doesn't depend on if the shot hit? *Missing something*
  3. Yet another list of quests completed today. Starting to run out of quests I can do freely, all but one of the novice class ones are finished, and I need 27 Hunter for that, so I'll be Hunting soon  Wanted! Slug Menace Quiet Before the Swarm Kennith's Concerns Observatory Quest Sheep Herder Big Chompy Bird Hunting Tale of the Muspah Rag and Bone man Fur 'n' Seek Watchtower Rune Mechanics Here's my latest skill-tab, haven't done one in a few days, and it's coming along  1k Total
  4. As everyone else mentioned, just for fun  It's also nice not to have the pressure of selling an expensive item, you find/make something, you keep it.. Eg. Hunting some butterflies earlier, in jars they're 1.2k each, and I'm DIY, so I'm not going to sell them, but I still banked them, just as a collection. Then I googled them, turns out the butterflies are an ingredient in Summoning, so I'll keep saving them <_< DIY brings some more diversity to the game, you don't spend 50 hours camping a monster for money to buy some new armour, you go and solo the boss that drops it *for 50 hours :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: *
  5. You know those heart-stopper drinks you get on the barcrawl <_< I just experienced one irl. But congratzzzz

Grand Tree Tourist Trap Animal Magnetism RFD: Cook's miniquest Murder Mystery Merlin's Crystal Holy Grail Making History Meeting History The Lost Tribe Death to the Dorgeshuun Another decent questing day  Got started on Another Slice of HAM just before I logged for the night. I'll give you another slice of HAM! I killed and pickpocketed HAM members for about two hours for the dastardly hood Zanik needed. Here's my collection of HAM robes at the end of the pillaging...
  8. Day 38 + 68k experience + 9 levels Quests completed today: All Fired Up Creature of Fenkenstrain Elemental Workshops 1,2 and 3 (My god, EW3 was awful) (I mean, I was using a guide, and it was still incredibly long/boring/stupid) (Stupid Jagex) Got started on the Grand Tree. I'm not going to do any skilling until I need to for unlocking quests  Also become paranoid over quest items, refusing to throw stuff away incase I need it later  Bank is already messy :shades:
  9. Day 34, 35, 36 and 37 Away on holiday. Back now
  10. Day 33 Today started off as a historic day...I finished the Digsite quest and helped out in the museum  Geddit? Historic...Museum? No? Okay. Anyway, helping out around the museum somehow netted me a lot of levels, about 10 split between Slayer and Hunter, which was nice :shades: I did find the elusive ruby necklace about five minutes in, which was a massive relief, on my old account it took forever  68/183 Kudos, I'll come back to it another time... Finished Fairy Tale part 1, and did the second one up to where you unlock Fairy rings  Felt like doing Frememnik Trials...Looked at item requirements...Raw shark  Wait, what's that? You can get raw sharks from Temple Trekking, which requires In Aid of the Myreque quest  ? In Aid of the Myreque, done  Next on the list...Shades of Mort'ton! Finished that, it's madness in there with the huge amount of players  Spent rest of evening camping a Fremenik guy for a lyre, no luck there, but watched an episode of House  Going on holiday until Friday/Saturday, so no updates 'til then, byee!
  11. Day 32.. +113k experience +34 levels Ghost's Ahoy In Search of the Myreque Nature Spirit Plague City Biohazard Tree Gnome Village Waterfall Quest Fight Arena The Giant Dwarf More questing :) Also mined a star which I came across on the way to getting a forum avatar for the RSOF  50k+ cash, incredibly useful, as well as the other runes/ore was nice
  12. Thanks for the tip :) I have a pretty large amount of questing to do, Ghost's Ahoy, Animal Magnetism, Fairy Tales  Oh well, I find them pretty fun
  13. Day 31 +43k experience +86 levels A month since I created this account, and today, one month of membership was added to this account  Forgot just how much content there is in members, been playing a lot today, and it feels like I have barely dented the members worlds  Completed all but one of the Burthorpe introductory tasks, and also these quests... Buyers and Cellars Clock Tower Death Plateau Druidic Ritual Dwarf Cannon Fishing Contest Gertrude's Cat Jungle Potion Let Them Eat Pie Lost City One Piercing Note Priest in Peril Recruitment Drive Wolf Whistle Not a bad day for quests  Tomorrow the first thing to do is Ghost's Ahoy, so I can teleport to Canifis faster and get Slayer tasks from that master  Onwards!
  14. Day 30 Gained 28k experience, forgot to look at total level in the morning <_< Did gain one level in Mining, 53, and one in Strength, 42. Also did some Dungeoneering, getting 1-2 levels every floor is pretty fun :) Anyway, big news, members tomorrow (for sure this time), I would have got it today, but wasn't going to spend much time online anyway, so might as well start using it tomorrow :D Got lots to do in my 30 days of membership :ohnoes:
  15. Day 29 Didn't get on for much more than 10 minutes, of which I spent most of it in the lobby chatting  On the plus side, members tomorrow (hopefully)
  16. It is indeed fun  Quest cape, y u no comp cape :ohnoes: Day 28 + 52k experience + 3 levels Hoping to get membership tomorrow, so I cut a few logs in preparation to get Fletching started. The main thing I'll be doing if I do get members however, is to do all the quests I can  Other than a bit of Woodcutting, where I achieved 51, I kept up the Mining/Smithing. Mined a couple of hundred iron ore, bringing mining up one level, to 52, and smithed the resources gathered at the Artisan's Workshop. Level 60 Smithing, and 666 total  Level of the devil? Goals 60/60 Smithing 52/55 Mining 0/1 Membershipssss
  17. Day 27 + 143k experience + 9 levels Decided to start this update at the beginning of the day, and then add to it as I played. Much easier to keep track of everything that's happening this way... I logged in on Karamja island, near the lobster spots. Managed to acquire around 200 lobsters and 56 Fishing doing this. Also had the pinball random event for the first time, which netted me a new music track and 27 Prayer from the exp lamp. Checked how many lobsters I had in the bank..169 cooked, 546 raw. Not bad  I'll cook all of the raw ones later, but for now, I feel like some AC - Brotherhood  *Insert hours of free-running/assasinating here* Back to Runescape  Began the quest for 55 Mining and mithril ore by grabbing my rune pick, a clan vexilium and the ring of kinship. Tele to clan camp --> run to mine --> mine --> tele to daemonheim, bank, repeat Got 51 Mining before getting bored and heading to the Artisan's workshop  Bought my first reward there, cost 20% respect = 200k experience Got me to 59 Smithing as well. Then decided to cook the lobsters I had banked, acquired a couple of cooking levels along the way. Goals 51/55 Mining 59/60 Smithing
  18. Very nice progress  Also, interesting art haha, if you feel like it, you can always make an RS-related signature for me  Been looking at your pixelling guide, might have a go sometime, but it'll probably come out rubbish  Anyway, good luck on future adventuresss
  19. Days 24,25 and 26 + 70k experience + Some levels Kept forgetting to update, but now I am  Can't remember exactly how many levels I've gained, so here's the latest skill tab... Coming along quite nicely! I managed to complete the unabridge version of 'Three's Company', the Fremenik saga. Also been doing a decent amount of fishing for when I start slayer (if I do start, members please  ) Anyway, I'm going to try and make updates a little more interesting from now, so toodles for now!
  20. 23. Day 18 Was ill, so I didn't play at all. Day 19 +110k experience +37 levels A very good day for levels <_< Most of my time was spent on Mining/Smithing and melee... As you can see from that image, I trained to 40 in both Attack & Defense, so now I can use rune  Going to be camping the Rimmington mine until 50 Mining now, for the Heroes' quest. Mining about 4 gold ore and the rest iron at the moment... Smithed about 350 iron ore at the Artisan's workshop today, it's slow, but at 111exp per iron ore, it's awesomeeee :ohnoes: 4% respect at Artisan's workshop. 440% needed for all rewards... 1% there
