  1. By PvM I mean bossing, not slaying. I can understand that it might confuse you, and I apologise. I do see vesta spear and statius hammer being used in corp, for example.
  2. Not when dragon/onyx bolts are much cheaper and hit higher when speccing and only marginally lower when not speccing..
  3. I remember people using vesta stuff for corp anticrashing and jad speedkilling. It's a damn shame they introduce new bolts that are effectively useless to a majority of the population when a couple of simple tweaks could make it work.
  4. The thing is, 600-800 one use bolts are pretty much useless in PvE. Not to mention their price. I think they need to change the bolts to work in PvE monsters that use magic, and increase log wield by at least 50%. Can't really comment on pvp, since I don't pvp much.
  5. The good thing about practice is that anyone can do it.
  6. Today was a good day. 98 thief, 97 prayer and 90 rc.
  7. Does it have the exact same bonuses/effects? Yes.
  8. They won't be cheap enough per shot. Non-wildy trees barely give you any, and since you can't recycle them huge amounts will leave the market.
  9. These bolts will most likely: a) be too expensive to use in PvM b) too extenuous to collect to use in PvM Hence, I do not care.
  10. Now let's speculate where the bolts will actually be useful. Nex, possibly. What else?
  11. The HTML link didn't pick up the last ')'. Here's a quote: "With the current hit marks system, a 0 can depict one of two things - either you missing your opponent, or hitting them but causing 0 damage (save for magic, which has a different 'squib' animation for a miss). In these cases, I went through many, many files to update them so that with the new hit marks system, you will either 'miss' your opponent or cause a minimum of 1 damage. While this isn't groundbreaking, it means the system shouldn't 'lie' anymore, it's more informative. A hit will always mean damage is inflicted and a miss is you missing the chance in the first place."
  12. When they multiplied the damage by 10, they mentioned that you now cannot hit 0's. The minimum is 1. The blog isn't up anymore, but here's a mirror: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Update:Blog_-_Hit_Marks:_Damage_Control_(August_2010)
  13. From the forums.
  14. Sara Sword is whip speed.
  15. I'm actually of the opinion that torva looks like an aberration now. While everything else looks fine, even if a little overdetailed, torva is just unproportionate with the huge, bulky ultra detailed chestplate and the very, very simple platelegs that do not match its level of detail or bulkiness. The helmet is the only piece that I do not abhor. EDIT: And don't get me started on those WoW-huge shoulder plates. I hadn't seen something so horrible since the latest tiered armor in WoW.
  16. Full helm didn't get updated. Oh Jagex. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrIdX0aIQm4&feature=youtu.be My full slayer helm (e) was updated.
  17. Your slayer helmet didn't change and mine did; Also, proselyte and deflector haven't changed. wot
  18. We can already judged seing as bronze > steel, barrows, low end leather items and low end mage gear have been made-over already. It's not been the case that bronze - rune are just recolours for a good month thanks to that first release. That wasn't his point, you're nitpicking. What he meant is that bronze to rune looked the same for way too long and that distinguishing the different tiers of armor will add a lot to the game.
  19. That and Zuriel's staff gives me hope that they'll do at least some weapons as well. Probably only set weapons, from what we've seen so far.
  20. To be fair, Jagex is known to wear pretty random equipment. They probably just wanted to show the only void weapon available along with the armor.
  21. No sir, I can assure you that I am not sarcasm.
