  1. It seems that Nimbus is now changing to a sort of post-apocalyptic london if that makes you like the setting anymore. I just said that I would create a character sheet for you in windward, fi you could give me an idea about what type of person you want to be I can have a go (I love making character sheets). IMO you'd prefer magus whereby you're a melee fighter who can imbue any weapon with magic. I'm pretty sure you can use all weapons like that.
  2. Mather, play Nimbus or Windward. Pathfinder has none of the issues that you have with tabletop roleplaying games. You don't really have to work out much by yourself apart from occasionally rolling a d20 for skill rolls and making a few changes to your character sheet when you level up. Character creation is one of the hardest parts of learning the system and I'd be willing to do that for you. Nimbus didn't have any of the issues you were complaining about. It uses the latin names for magic, we're limited to one magic and we there's none of the occult stuff that you didn't like.
  3. If you're aiming for that type of red then it's going to look like a plastic wig.
  4. I think absolutely everybody else would disagree with you on that. If you're talking about an unnatural red then all it will serve to do is to look tacky and effeminate. Long-haired ginger males don't look like women because their hair is in actuality orangey. If the whole purpose of this dyeing is to attract a girl then why are you choosing a tacky feminine colour instead of choosing a manly medium-length cut. Alternatively: I still stick by blonde if you're keeping it long.
  5. Nope. Just the lighting. Besides, actual red as opposed to any attempt at natural has the added bonus of looking tacky as well as effeminate.
  6. Pictured: feminine hair Pictured: Manly hair
  7. No, I'm thinking red. And I'm sure that's a girl in the image, you can tell by the jaw and earrings.
  8. I know, that's even more feminine. Really, keep your hair as it is.
  9. 160 students and you still haven't found a girl with similar interests. I don't understand why you're wasting your time trying to attract girls who don't share your interests and who you clearly wouldn't select as girlfriends. I didn't say that they would be actively detrimental to your schooling but they're not going to help at all. Long red-dyed hair is the most feminine hairstyle I could think of short of putting flowers in it. Metalheads shouldn't be role models for you, they're a counter-culture. You can't say who is going to be more frightened but I'm assuming that somebody who's decided to change themselves and their style in a desperate attempt to get friends rather than somebody who's been training their body to peak physical perfection because they enjoy it. The person who is more manly is the person with normal hair because he's not trying to prove anything by going to extremes of fashion?
  10. I just fail to see the reason why you're wanting a girlfriend, it seems that you just want a girlfriend for the street cred. It's not as if you're specifically targeting a certain girl, you're just indiscriminately trying to find a girlfriend for no reason which is useless at this age. If you were 25 and didn't have a girlfriend then it would be acceptable to say 'maybe I should get looking' but at this age there is no real reason to be actively searching. I'd agree that if it was somebody specific than it's okay but this girlfriend hunt seems a bit pointless to me. I'd recommend you make some more life-long friends instead of wasting your time with temporary relationships. It's a lot harder for males to make new friends when they're older than women which is one of the reasons why the suicide rate for men is often a lot higher. Also, in my school of about a thousand people I've got a pretty good knowledge of who everybody is. Even if you're school/college is bigger I'm sure that you would have found a girl that shared your interests by now (even if she doesn't wear homestuck t-shirts). Since you haven't found a girl that shares your interests and that actually want to have as a girlfriend. Why on earth would you include 16-18 in your time to include long-term relationships. If you just wait till university you'll be with a bunch of people who share your academic interests and are more intelligent than the people you'll get at a school. I plan to start having a girlfriend at the end of my future university course since we'll both obviously share the same academic interests but it wouldn't be too bad to choose somebody from a different course (specifically maths or physics) Also, remember that a girlfriend is likely not going to help you with your schooling. A girlfriend could distract you from being the best you could be and that temporary relationship that you choose to have may have a massive detrimental affect on your future career options. Also, if I were a girl I would actively avoid anybody who dyes their hair. Especially if it's an unnatural colour such as blue like you were thinking about. When I see males with dyed hair they either look like they're trying too hard or they're at a fancy dress party. Also, I'm with Grim and Nex about cutting your hair; short hair is a manly trait which is very attractive.
  11. This whole conversation is ridiculous. EDIT: I previously posted that I thought relationships at that age were pointless.
  12. Mather, seriously. Why do you even feel that you need a relationship with these people anyway? Why not just wait till one occurs naturally.
  13. Does anybody here watch Breaking Bad?
  14. I don't plan to be taking the dragon, especially so since if I did it wouldn't gain any of the special attacks since they've already been lost from the application of the zombie template. I was looking at a way to safely make oozes undead (I understand juju zombie doesn't do this) since they seem perfect for guarding a lair/killing pirates/Sedridal Retech, do you think with a high enough craft (alchemy) score I would be able to create some oozes? The description states that some they were made by wizards.
  15. And are you able to make juju zombies with animate dead? If you kill a creature of an already undead subtype are you allowed to animate it?
  16. I really didn't think that season 5 was going to be that good. The end of season 4 was fantastic and often that spells a poor attempt at clinging onto the story but the two episodes of season 4 I've watched have been fantastic.
  17. False. (I feel better about myself when I correct people)
  18. Although (because of the level) they're not terribly useful in combat they'll be invaluable for any ventures we have on the island, especially animate dead. I can copy down the other scrolls later. Retech, does the elephant's gore attack still work if the tusks are removed? If not would I be able to put some sharpened wood in to replace them?
  19. Since we're going to be resting for eight hours, I'll be spending that time copying some of the useful spells from Garmund's spellbook. I'll need to spend one hour sleeping so that I am not exhausted (and instead I'll be fatigued for next session. It will take 15 hours total to prepare all of the spells below so I'll start with stone shape since that's the one which is going to be getting us out of the crypt the fastest and I can copy the rest of the spells on the ship-ride back. Animate Dead - 160gp (DC 19) Skeleton Crew - 160gp (DC 19) Stone Shape - 160gp (DC 19) Spellcraft = +15 (so I need to get a 4 or below to fail) 22, 33, 29 15 hours - I honestly don't care how the kobolds are dealt with for now and I'll go along with whatever is the popular opinion. Just take into account that the kobolds probably don't know that it was us that that killed their men and they may not even know they were killed if we take the bodies (which I'll do).
  20. Figuring out your behaviours? I understand that it's possible to alter your behaviour and characteristics but I Was never aware that people made a conscious decisions about which character traits they want to take on.
  21. Thought it was a bit high :P The red looks effeminate, I'd definitely go with the blue if you're insistent on choosing either. Alternatively, if you want an icebreaker you could cut your hair really short and watch as everybody says: "never met you before, who are you?" (unless you go for a darker shade of red)
  22. I think I'd agree that your hair looks good long from seeing that photo. I colour-replaced your hair to cerulean blue so that you can see what it looks like. I think blonde would suit you as it often suits everybody who has long hair. You also need to make sure that it's the blue dye is professionally dyed instead of simply putting it into your hair because otherwise your hair will look like a wig. I put the ♏ on your T-shirt but it didn't work very well.
  23. Something being common doesn't mean that it's the best option.
  24. Does the windows version remind anybody else of runescape at 0:38?
