For Mather & Arch: http://marseffect.net/ -- I've recently been attempting to create dungeon maps of fortresses and keeps and I'm having trouble with room layout, obviously a keep isn't simply a house with a lot of large rooms so a corridor through the middle wouldn't be appropriate but neither would a large hall for opening. Could somebody post their examples.

Would anybody be interested in a rules-lite IRC mystery game? Players would randomly be given a pregenerated character and would have to work out who they are as well as solving a mystery.

Yes, but it shouldn't be untouchable. I can understand it being made harder to destroy but making it completely indestructable is paramount to.

I never said it was, I said that it was annoyingly boring. An AI that controls everything on the ship, one that can't be shut off or modified is just going to result in a load of people doing a chore. The idea of these games is so that you can do what you want, its not so you can be told what to do by the GM! The AI needs to change, you can't just have a unkillable thing telling everybody what to do. Don't limit the players.

Obviously you're forgetting about world peace which results in financial prosperity due to more economic movement. A space race isn't likely to happen but in the lore you described it will happen. You gave two reasons as to why it would be accelerated. Yes, you are correct in saying that technology moves slowly but technology moves quickly in times of need. The tank obviously was improved drastically during the second world war, as the railgun is during a period of tensions with an extremely technologically advanced country. The restriction of players in any sense is stupid, instead of restricting the players maybe you should restrict CUI's power. Any sort of 'for the purpose of balance' restrictions are just annoying. You should be able to do ANYTHING based on what happens, not on 'balancing the game'. -- Regardless, session tommorow?

Scotch eggs vary GREATLY in quality. I have tried a lot of scotch eggs and there is a massive difference in recipes. The variation can be as much so as cake is.
