I'm not sure if this point has already been raised but if muslim women aren't allowed to wear burqa's or niqab's then will they stay at home (by choice or otherwise) thus isolating themselves from normal society. Ignoring that point however I completely agree with France's decision to ban the burqa. It is stopping Islamic assimilation of culture and preserving French culture. The muslim dress can be seen as very intimidating to most and lets face it, if I started walking around in a veil then most would assume that I am a burglar. Allowing people to stride around in massive cloaks, covering most or even all of there face seems to pretty much be incouraging petty crimes. The concept of Hijab is almost synonymous with sexual seggregation and the act of France banning some islamic clothing represents the government striving for gender equality. I completely disagree, this isn't a matter of privacy. Unmarried muslim women are entitled to the same amount of privacy as married muslim women, if a person suddenly wants an increase in there level of privacy because of there religion then it isn't a matter of privacy anymore; it is quite obviously a matter of religion.

From a purely monetary standpoint, theft is the new murder. Actually, more like manslaughter. Vandalism and arson are murder. From a gameplay standpoint murder is worse as it stops you from playing/increases the risk of that. Please stop repeating that theft is an extremely serious crime, even if I did intend to permenantly steal off Volta then nobody would lose out because Volta is an NPC.

There is no requirement for restricted weapons access or custody as I am not a murderer and I am merely being convicted of stealing. I would like to keep it for a later date.

On the other hand you have no way to prove that I am lieing. And at this moment however it is irrelevent whether I am lieing or not, the only evidence you had of me stealing them was a suspicion and on that suspicion you chose to murder me. Now, even if I was stealing I wasn't an immediate hazard to any other members of the crew. And even so instead of trying to resolve things peacefully you decided to attack me with intent to kill without any evidence or even a slight grasp of what I was doing, that is almost certainly not reasonable force; murdering a person because you think that they could be stealing. You're a murderer and sanctions need to be imposed upon you.

I was in an armoury, there weren't going to be a fist shaped diamond but there would likely be a high-power goo gun. You can't say that I am grasping on straws at all. Well Nex, you did sort of grab an erogenous zone of Nero's body. Before the slicing most would most would call that foreplay :P. And valuable almost always has a direct correlation with power, as a general rule the more valuable a weapon is the more likely it is to be able to destroy an enemy. I was hoping for 'some experimental goo-gun'.

No Ross, At that point I was exiting the armoury and travelling to the Kalinka, I had not killed anybody. I was then confronted by your men and used the weapon to defend myself from there attacks. I had not harmed anybody beforehand and hadn't responded to your previous attack on me. You then cut me in half with your psionic powers. So basically, on an assumption you murdered me. No, you didn't 'apprehend' me because that implys that you took me into your custody to stop be commiting a crime. You simply murdered me without any information about the situation, I was going to use my skill in item creation to create a turret to attack the Kalinki but I instead got murdered. You can't say I was stealing, the only information you had at the time was that I was carrying weapons. I'm not trying to have sex with you, I just think it is a little ridiculous that you are banning all males access to your room because Albert had consensal sex with Volta. It is extremely sexist of you to assume that all the males on the ships are crazy sex-driven maniacs and I am mearly challenging that. You are banning everybody from your room because one person had sex with somebody! Apart from Albert and Peri I don't think anybody else has done anything that could've been seen as sexual, it is wrong to ban all males access on the basis that there are one or two sexually depraved maniacs in the world.
