Right now I'm working in the Men's Clothing Department at Hecht's as a salesman. The pay is decent, so I don't mind. After high school I hope to go to Virginia Tech and Major in Biology, then go to medical school and become some sort of doctor.

Actually pushups do work your biceps, just on the negative side. Still works them just fine and dandy, and some will argue that a negative workout's even more effective than a positive one. When doing pushups and situps, some people will tell you that you should do them slowly. That's an urban legend. Studies actually show that slow sets(including bench pressing) will result in less weight actually being lifted while expending the same amount of energy, meaning an ulimate lack of muscle gain. If you can do 50 pushups and 50 situps at a time and throw in a couple sets of pullups, and do that twice or so a day, you'll do fine for just trying to stay healthy. Of course, if you're trying to gain muscle and get a stellar body, then you'll have to be extremely patient when it comes to weight-free workouts. The best solution to losing weight and gaining muscle is to lift weights. Many girls are under the impression that by lifting weights they won't lose weight, only gain muscle. Not true. When you lift weights you expend an enormous amount of energy. So by lifting weights, you will actually burn alot more fat than you think. If anyone has any workout questions, feel free to ask.

Noooooo! My slurpee straw just split down the middle. Ahhh...I still have a good 30 oz of slurpee yet, and no way to drink it! Spoons and straws are downstairs...WAY too far. Guess I'm popping the top off and slurpeefacing it.

Toe-May-Toe With my birthday cash I spent $3.14 I bought a 52 oz Big Gulp from 711! What an amazing deal! 97 cents for a slurpee refill, I was so excited when I found out. :)

But, we mainly focus on things like the brain, heart, lungs, capillaries, bones, and things like that opposed to the uhh...interesting stuff. :lol: lol wow... perhaps i should take... nah lol j/k just a qustion, i thought you were a mod? Oh, it's still 18 here. Just 17 to get into the movies. Now that I think of it though, I typically enjoy the PG movies more than the R ones anyways though..

Well here we have block scheduling...so my classes switch every other day. Day 1: English World History Adv PE Anatomy Day 2: French III World History Yearbook Algebra II/Trig And I take Intro to Comp Programming on Tues/Thurs. The only class I have a problem staying awake is during Algebra. It's right after lunch, so my parasympathetic system is at work making me drowzy. I also sit in the back of class, so it's hard to concentrate. The classroom is very warm, and the teacher has a very monotonous, somewhat soothing voice. 10 minutes of listening to her talk and I'm out like bellbottoms.

Yep, I turn 17 tomorrow, on May the 1st. I'll be 17 years old, and finally able see rated R movies. Not that I didn't before, but you know...it's cooler when you're allowed to. My gal gave me the Special Edition of Battle Royale tonight, hidden under my pillow. My parents are finally giving me my class ring, after about a year of waiting. Plus, they're getting me some other thing I don't know about yet. I'm not going to be having my birthday party until probably the 14th, since a friend of mine just had his today. I plan on inviting lots of people, so it should be pretty fun. Anywho, happy birthday to me. :)

Actually the average person stops growing completely around age 25. That's when your growth plates completely ossify, so there's no more cartilage to push out. for some people it's a bit sooner, for others it's later.

Say if Kmart were left wing, and decided as a corporation(doubtful, but this is hypothetical) to speak out against the war on Iraq, right wing conservatives would boycott in a heartbeat. It's the truth. While I consider myself more a conservative, it's not fair to criticize the left wing for boycotting a company that has different ideals than them. Frankly, if the people were switched, you'd see virtually the same response.

I eat plenty of junk food, and have a blood pressure of 115/80, and a 72 heart beat. I also work out regularly, and run an average of two miles every night. Junk food aint gonna kill me any time soon. Now, if I were to start smoking...nothing I do can counter that. That's the difference.
