  1. I'm in the middle of Desert Treasure right now. I know my stats aren't exactly high, but that's not what I care about - don't tell me how to play. All I need is to know a few things. 1. How do I get to "Trollhiem" if I haven't done Edgar's Ruse? 2. The guide says I need spiked boots, but not climbing boots, but When I tried to climb over a wall, without climbing boots, I couldn't do it. I couldn't wear the spiked boots yet either. 3. What's the best armor set-up for a melee fighter, who isn't exactly rich? As I said before, all the guide say is "Teleport to Trollhiem (If you've done Edgar's Ruse." It doesn't tell me how to get there if I haven't done that quest. Please don't tell me I "Shouldn't be doing this yet", or that I "Should wait until I have some decent stats." That's not what I'm looking for. Kind of urgent, any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  2. Well, I know what it feels like to have everybody who posts in your topic tell you that an idea sucks, so I won't tell you that. I actually think it's very interesting. I would actually be interested in working on the different spells with you. The only problem I had was with regaining prayer points. I think to make that fair, the spell should take quite a few runes, and to do that, you might as well just buy a prayer pot with 1 dose. But, I suppose this can be resolved. I'd love to hear more about it.
  3. My house right now is so badly planned, I'm probably going to redesign the entire thing, so that I can be killing bosses, teleport to my house, recharge prayer, and run right back. I'd say the most important things about the layout are having chapel and portal room right next to each other, and/or the entrance portal.
  4. Like I said, these things could be changed around to make them more realistic. Nomrombom, you're right, and I realized that about 10 minutes after I made the post. I was too lazy to fix it though. Yeah though, the general idea is that fewer things are aggressive towards you. Boris, you also have a point. I was thinking I would use it to avoid being Pk'ed, instead of PKing others. But yeah, instead of that, maybe it could do something like slightly distort where your dot is on the minimap. That would be especially useful in F.O.G., because when you're hunting the other person, they're a lot harder to find the exact location of.
  5. These are amazing... If I were to donate, could the post count thing be lowered... Maybe to like 5 posts...? I will have money fairly soon.
  6. My brother and I are currently trying to make money through treasure trails. I am not interested in someone telling me that treasure trails is a bad way to make money, or suggest a faster one. All I want is some information. Firstly, How much more worth it is it to do elite rather than hard? I don't mean by the chance that you'll get say, a third-age druidic robe top, but just rather the average money gained from the treasure trail. Is it worth doing the quests and the skills for, or could I make the money from hard's without doing any more quests? Secondly, Where is the best safe place to find hard clue scrolls? When I say safe, I mean you can't be attacked by other players. By best, I mean the quickest. Thirdly, Where is the best dangerous place to find hard clue scrolls? So other players could attack us here, but it's fairly fast to find a CS if they don't. Fourthly, Where is the best place to find elite clue scrolls? Either dangerous or safe, but it's fast. I tried the giant mole, and TBH it was very easy. The only problem was the amount of time it took to kill it. At that rate, if a CS is about a 1/750 drop, it would take forever to get CS's. Thanks for any positive input you have!
  7. I know it's pretty unnecessary, but I thought that maybe another gem would be interesting, and I came up with all of the enchanted items made out of it. Feel free to tell me how stupid of an idea it is, I am just wondering if anybody else has a ring that they wish could do something, or an amulet, ETC. Value/Rarity: Somewhere between diamond and dragonstone. Members: Yes Color: Yellow Orange. Crafting level to cut: 49 Magic level to enchant: 65 Enchanted ring: Passive Ring Ring Use: Makes aggressive monsters only attack you if their combat level is 3X your or higher, rather than 2X Enchanted Necklace: Restoration necklace Necklace use: Makes your rune energy recharge 2X as fast. While resting, 4X as fast, and while listening to music, 6X as fast. Enchanted bracelet: Bracelet of Stealth Bracelet use: When worn, it removes your character dot from the minimap. Enchanted amulet: Divine amulet Amulet use: Gives a +1 boost to the following stats - Summoning Prayer Magic Constitution Herblore Runecrafting Of course, this is just a thought, and I won't be deeply offended if anyone says they hate it, and it sucks. The stats could be changed around to make the gem more likely, or fair. Thanks for reading, and thanks for input!
  8. TBH, I didn't think the idea was that great at first. After I had read the guide though, I realized how much time must have been put into this. This skill idea is amazing, and certainly worth of becoming a skill, much more worthy than some other suggestions there have been.
  9. The ETC. in the farming and herblore could include seeds and farming supplies. I didn't think about it, but it would be a really good idea to have hotspots for booths. But yeah, quickly selling items that you had gotten as drops, or buying items that wouldn't buy on the G.E... Anyway, thanks for your input.
  10. I'm not sure if I should put this in good rewards, or bad ones... This isn't real...
  11. No. ^ I agree, this would be extremely slow. When I was going for a gilded alter I just did oak larders. So I would recommend this. Um... What...? You agree that this is extremely slow, yet you suggest doing it?
  12. I find it fastest, to wield a hatchet, if your house is in Rimmington. Go outside, cut down oak trees. When you're inventory is full, go in and tell you servant to take as many as he/she can to the sawmill. Works best with Demon Butler. Then, with a saw and hammer make oak larders. and then make more oak larders. Repeat the process. It works great - I level up an average of 2-3 levels in two hours when I do that. But, if your construction level is lower, it will be faster, because less experience is required to level up. The downside is that your servant will take longer, and won't be able to take as many when your levels are lower.
  13. Thanks for the tips. I'll be getting 61 crafting to get Lunar first. Then, I'll get 53 thieving, and do a few quests for Ancient Magics. Before I complete Desert Treasure though, I'll probably get the ghostly robes to show off in f2p, and a bit in p2p. After I have ancient, I'll make another portal room in my house, for Ancient and Lunar teleports. Then I'm going to go do Barrows. So, I have the next month or so planned out. Again, thanks for all the tips!
  14. Spinal cord accidentally removed in a knee surgery. Don't ask how it happened.
  15. I almost have the skills to get both of them. Lunar is closer to my grasp, but I would rather have Ancient. Should I train and do the quests for Lunar first, and then get Lunar, or same thing with Ancient? I'm not good at decisions like this... Anyway, Lunar would be nice, and easy to get, but Ancient would be better and harder to get. I plan on getting both eventually, I just want yo know which to get first. Thanks!
  16. Spell Title: Go to tile What spell does: Teleports avatar to the selected tile ingame Spellbook: Lunar Level Required: 80 Runes Required: Law X10 Air X10 Nature X5 Body X5 Soul X5 Astral X2 Quests: Nomad's Requiem
  17. Same here. I can't fight any npc's above level 100 without prayer, and certain npc's below 100... Anyway, you're right, it's a game, and the point is to have fun. I have one more question though. In the guide, I might have just missed it, but I don't think it really explained where to dig. I plan on killing all of the brothers, if that changes anything. Also, how do I know which brother the chest will take the reward from? It said something about the game randomly selecting a brother to have his reward put in the chest... Anyway, thanks for the tip(s).
  18. Thanks for all the suggestions. I have a portal room in my house, right next to an alter, though I have not done Desert Treasure. I'll make another portal room with Ancient Magic teleports after I do Desert Treasure. I do however have Varrock, and can use fairy rings from north of the Grand Exchange to get back to Canifis fairly quick. While not as quick, it should be quick enough. I'll probably try it with my Abyssal whip, and a rune crossbow. I might also try with Verac's weapons. I'll bring plenty of Prayer Pots, and probably Monk Fish. If I get anything specifically good, I'll post on the forums. Any help, suggestions, or advice would still be appreciated.
  19. I just saw this, and looked at the date. I got mad that I hadn't seen this before now - this is amazing! I was sort of rushed for time, so I only read the requirements, and the rewards, but from what I saw it's amazing. I know I would never manage to do this, but I think it would be really interesting, and at least worth a shot. I'm certainly in favor of the whole idea of making players use their brain instead of their skills. I know this is sort of late to post, but I hope Jagex will follow through on this at least a little. Again, absolutely amazing.
  20. Well, I read the Barrows guide on tip.it, and it looks fairly simple. I know I'm not ready for that skill wise either yet, but I'll definitely be doing that before I embark on Godwars. Besides, if I happen to get lucky, a few extra million gp couldn't hurt. Any tips you guys have for me that don't relate to my skills? I'm not looking for people telling me "You're screwed", I'd rather have people tell me stuff like "You'd have a better chance of success if you did this". Any help would be great!
  21. Nobody uses Facebook, or Apple software, so your products fail. You lose tons of money from paying for the websites and products. *Goes forward in time to assassinate Justin Y. Kolyande*
  22. I take a bite out of you, and put the wall piece back. Wall: 9 HP
  23. Thanks - that's 1/2 now... Anyway, If you guys have other ideas as to what the stores could and could not sell, ETC, I would much appreciate it.
