I see what you mean, but like what's been said, the new updates really bring it back (and I'm not quite burned out of training yet :) )

The quest is actually really easy. For you it would be best to bring runes and hide behind the mushroom and mage the spirit. It'd be very easy like that for you.

There are trims on rune, addy, and black armor. (t) is armor with a lighter colored trim (black armor has a grey trim) (g) is armor with a gold colored trim (h) is "heraldic" and only applies to kite shields, they have different colors on each quadrant of the shield. All of these armors can be bought on f2p worlds and you can see pictures in our treasure trail guide.

I had that problem too :oops: . You have to go back into the basement and talk to the leader one more time.

Talk to the old man in Draynor (across the street from the bank) and he'll tell you what you can get rid of.

You need vambraces, all lvls are the same.

Between lvl 1 and 10, just take 1! There is no reason for black pures. The armor difference is so small it doesn't matter and it will just add 2.5 combat lvls for no reason.

Never ever ectofungus normal bones. You get 4x the experience for ecto'ing bones, and you could so very easily get and bury 4 normal bones in the time it takes to ecto 1 bone. Big bones are arguable, but dragon and above should definitely be done. White armor stats are equal to black armor, but they all give prayer bonuses. Every white armor piece (including white weapons) gives a +1 prayer bonus (except for the mace which gives like a +3).

I couldn't read it all, but note the warrior-mages or whatever get their runeless magic exp from the reward and also that the Void Knight heals a bunch when you destroy a portal.

Thats expensive and much slower. Glory for the win. Don't forget another advantage of the glory: It doesn't take any inv spaces and you make more runes each trip. 2 more runes per trip (over paddewa tele) is a big benefit, it adds up.

Another factor you need to avoid (sry if it's been posted yet, i didn't read through) is to not kill double/triple brothers that spawn on one side of the door. Also, if you're really picky, you should only kill like one type of extra monster so that doesn't affect it.

Have you ever done it that way? You need tons of prayer pots, so wasting room on sharks isn't a good idea.

Oh well the energy pots aren't really necessary anymore, i never bring those. but I use the dharok and light out lowering hp method and the cannon in the middle with the sound on.

Actually, I solo him all the time. This is good advice for teams though. I've always used Leester's guide's method (you can search for it if you want.)

Nope, you just start killing one of the correct monsters (or the few other things that get you a clue) until you get a clue. You can only have one at a time, so if you ever put one in your bank, remember that you have because you won't be able to get another until that one was done/dropped. Also, ring of wealth doesn't help clues. Also, though, note that on the lvl 3 clues, (which you don't have to do a quest to do) you can be asked to go to areas that you do need to have done quests for (even legend's quest for one).

Here's the bestiary (I think it accidentally got changed to one word). You have to start desert treasure and look into the mirrors to get to them. Also, help&advice forum for all questions.

The gadderhammer just hits better, more accurate and harder, on shades than other monsters. At higher lvls though, it's just too slow to be used.

Well at the barrows I got ranger boots. Who would bring those?! :shock: He also had an obby set, karil's hood, all kinds of neat stuff... but the tiny range bonus you get from the ranger boots for the ~700k they're worth... I don't know why you would bring them to the barrows unless you're just feeling generous :D

You got the wish this month, eh? Anyways they do have a decent system now. If you look back, the 25, 50, 75, and 100th quest were all really big (I believe hero's, legend's, and desert treasure all fell in that). But too many huge/hard quests will need to have too many huge/good/game-revolutionizing rewards, and with too many of those it will begin to make everything in the game too strong (for an example look at rune armor and the smithing skill, can you imagine barrows armors becoming inferior soon with tons of huge quest rewards needing more room to push to?)

RSN: Kwimbob (o' course) I love drop parties and such. I'd be willing to be a trusted dropper if you still need one, and I'd just like to come to see the fun and all. A few of my friends are having financial trouble (more just a laziness to do the money making skills :P ) and I'd like to help them out, especially the real life ones that moved away and all. So if I can come and all, that'd be great and fun to help you with this big effort, so I just thought I'd do a quick post :)
