Monday's update?
Basically, here's what we have left this month: So for any one who has done the quest, it looks like we will now get a chance to redo the taking Ivan through the vampires part of the quest over and over. The update may also give us reasons to go out smithing a bunch of steel half armor sets and silver sickles, or bringing food the odd swamp food to these people so that they can make it through the paths easier (both of those things were little-known options you could do with Ivan to allow him to have better defence or have food to eat to live longer).

Dark gloves
I have 210 quest points, too. I've like always had all the quests done :) But if you think about it, there's never really been a reward for having many quest points besides the tear's of guthix mini-game time (which isn't that different) (also, legend's and such qp req.'s really aren't high). This is the one quest and reward that requires the lots of qp's, many of those qp's not even being accompanied by much more than a little exp when getting them. So with that, I guess these gloves are justified. They don't give much more better stats in the range or mage, but they really do shine in their melee bonuses (especially str). Also, all of that combined is another convinience that all these qp's earned.

What is the running price for willow logs?
Oh, sry, it actually looks like they're more like 40 each, though a few ppl haven't moved on and are still trying for more of a 30-35 e.

What is the running price for willow logs?
Try the hellp&advice forum or, even better for prices, do a price check on the right market forum. I think they're like... 30e?

into the lair
really? there were 3 full grown ones during the quest Yeah, there are 4 (maybe only 3?) black dragons when you enter. But if you go down a hole, then there is 1 baby black.

Dark gloves
Hm... they weren't really that hard to get. Killing all the monsters at the end was the only hard part (besides maybe the monkey cooking req.) The gloves are really good for what you have to do, but they're really awesome because you can't buy them. You have to be strong to get them, so you can't get those bonuses when they would help you way, way too much.

new staff and ghasts hidden update
Where can you find the Vampire Advocates after the quest? And can I use your info (crediting you of course) on the quest guide? And would this be accurate? The Rod of Ivandis has a special effect that can only be used on Vampire Advocates that are at about 1/4 health. It will hold them in the air where you can then use a Guthix Balance potion on them (a restore pot that you add garlic and silver dust, which is a silver bar that's gone through the ectofungus` bone grinder). When that is used on them they will: turn human and give you a small gift of noted items; be killed; or be turned into full vampires that can be damaged (and killed) by normal weapons.

Cool 8) rpm111, no need to sticky any guide, there's a link to all of the good ones in the Tip.It archive of wisdom sticky :P Exactly, it's in the archive of wisdom and there's really no need to bump this old topic and it already is basically stickied.

New method of high lvl cooking?
Just look on the map with a frying pan symbol. There are a ton of cooking ranges through out runescape. Not just those two. There are tons actually, yeah. The Lletya is not a better range, Lumby is, though. Actually... if you're cooking a group of manta rays then you'd still want to use this to help cook them. Nah, it is all that, if you hadn't cooked there you would have had even more chance of burning it... you might have super burned it :o

New closest iron and silver rocks to bank
Yeah, on my cooking thread I said that the lumbridge range has much higher chances of not burning than the rogue's den because it is special, and there is now a bank close to it. There is another range with a bank closer, but the lumbridge range is better and worth it for high lvl food you don't want to burn. But the mine being close is good, too, I hadn't noticed that, I'll have to check it out some time.

Baby Black Drags
Where are they? That looks like a separate room in the evil chicken's lair, how do you get there?

hellcatz!!
Actually you have to kill like 7 hell rats... you did something weird.

New Stuffed Snake Heals 30 !?!
Because if you're healing 10 more than the opponent per inventory spot, you'll definitely win if you're anywhere near equally matched. That's assuming this thing is true.

New method of high lvl cooking?
I... don't think so. After doing the Cook's assistant quest or w/e it's called, it tells you that you will receive an extra 10% exp for using his range  It sounded familiar... but I wasn't sure.

Can any1 give me a guide for the fire cape plz?
There is no guide to it that doesn't need those things, btw. It is possible without guthan, but it involves many sara pots and super restores and a higher combat over all, really. Basically you need the range lvl. You just do.

New method of high lvl cooking?
I... don't think so.

New method of high lvl cooking?
Yes, but if you're cooking high level foods (shark or above) and you're concerned about getting mroe of them successfully cooked, lumbridge is now an option.

New method of high lvl cooking?
Lol, check the quest journal, it IS IN FACT, the best range in all runescape...oddly enough :P just says high quality range :o dunno if that means its better or not It does, you burn less often on the lumby range, it's special. And you burn less on ranges than fires, so it's much better chances of cooking correctly than in the rogues' den. And yes, to those questions, there really is a bank in lumbridge now, in the castle basement.

New method of high lvl cooking?
The bank is from the new recipe for disaster quest. It's called the Culinaromancer chest not only is it a one click bank, but it also sells cooking supplies and however many items you've unlocked during the quest in right click store menus. The unlockable items include very awesome gloves the best of which, the barrows gloves (really just called "gloves", but players call it barrows gloves, or sometimes dark gloves, because they're the barrow grey color with the yellow barrow horn/[bleep]e color) give +12 to all attack, defence, and strength bonuses except for magic, which gets +6 attack and defence bonuses.
