i wouldn't mind, it would be a nice change of pace, similar to housescape during construction week (well... not so much... it was really a remix.) but then again i would also not mind if they do new music. i like how scape original has an ending too, the new one kinda loops. Sign guru_jake54 up.

The only thing in this world that I truely hate is racism. everything else is not worth getting that worked up over. now what I do dislike in this game is pretty standard (other than racists obviously): Scammers and Hackers, and their ilk.

nice article, if only every runescaper reads this article and abides by their rules, then runescape would defentally be a nicer place. it's a game, play it like you want to, just don't flame others for playing it their way.

not too bad of an article, not the best, but not the worst. eh, f2p is pretty boring once you reach the 70s with no quests left training becomes a chore, and pking can be annoying without the right stats (i.e. anything not a pure.), so by then you either need to get p2p, quit, find something else to do, or become a ooc recruit :P. i did the latter, and now i don't exactly need p2p to find stuff to do, i just hang out at the ooc cabbage patch and am no longer bored. :D eh, i have fun reading about the updates p2p gets though, i don't mind because i know that i can't exactly get p2p yet, i have to worry about college first.

RC, none of the alters are close enough to a bank to make it easy enough to craft runes efficiantly enough for a nonmage to see point in using it for quick cash. pity people keep saying firemaking and prayer, prayer does take a long time, but if you bury each and every bones you get, you can get some prayer levels decently fast. and firemaking... firemaking is fun. it is defentally not a noob skill... *imitating Minty(RSR)* I will show you what noobs are for... not fires.*/imitating* :P

not all of them, they have a mini game that they have not done that they said would be out this month, but isnt. I honestly think that the first thing released next month will be the 2 updates they are working on, and possibly another one for it being the first week of july. i have been waiting too, but i can wait longer, i do not support this game financially, so i understand that they do not care about me as much as they do members.

I am sure they can wait until next month, if we are all lucky, then jagax may release that brewing minigame and the new dungeon first. (well, the dungeon is useful to them because it would help to prevent hackers and scammers... trimmed bronze armor ftw!) it would be interesting if the testing is just an excuse for them taking too long to finish the coding on those two things, eh?

what about Rune(s) or Rune(z) or rune(g)? if you don't know what they are, the (s) stands for saradomin, the (z) stands for zamorak, and the (g) stands for guthix. they are all 3 sets of trimmed rune armor that is avalible through treasure trails and have better stats (i've heard.)

It's a game, and no one who is not a Jmod does not get paid cash to play the game (I am quite sure in that fact, I could be wrong, but I doubt that.) If someone throws a fit over losing an item in the game, they are taking it far to seriously. The only reason you should play runescape is to have fun, but unfortuantly it seems people disregard that fact and turn it into some kind of contest: "OMG, u r n0t as s7rng as m3, s0 j00 mus7 b3 t3h n00bzors." or "haha n00b, i have a p-hat and you don't." or "ha, 0wn'd n00bie, you sux." Honestly, who cares if you are better than me? It's a game. I'll play the way I want to, and you can play the way you to.

I didn't believe this when i found out either but Runescape...Is just... A Game. I swear! my mom told me!!! if people cry over lost items, then i would GLADLY pay for their therapy. Basketball is just a game. Why don't you go tell Kore Bryant and Michael Jordan and Shaq and all those guys to get a life? True basketball is a game, but the people you described get paid to play the game, that's their job. I can think of no one who legally gets paid to play runescape, outside of Jmods, like Shaq, or MJ, and i don't belive anyone has EVER offered to host a RS tournement with cash prizes, leaving one simple fact left: There is no reason to play, outside of Pure Enjoyment. Yes losing stuff is always a bummer, but it's not really there, and if you try i am sure you can find a way to get your losses back, if all it takes is losing an expensive item to make you quit, then you are taking the game far to seriously than you need to. And no Indalecio, they couldn't attack back, they were utterly defenseless.

This is a fourm, shorthand is used in order to get your point out quickly, but that is not needed in a fourm. and as long as i am not IP banned, why not? it's just pixels, and the game is ment to be played for fun. heck, those who were asking for death, i would kill, forget those with P-hats, i would just work on killing as many people as i could :P but i suppose we would have to ask the person himself how much fun it was, honestly, i think it would be a blast.

ah, in another thread someone was saying cursed you did the glitch to help his pker friends, i would like to post here (because the discussion is being moved here.) that given the fact that this is the first time this has happened, i honestly doubt cursed you had any remote idea this would happen if he booted all the people in his house out. EDIT: bleh, i still wanna see. if anyone has a webcam, or video capturing system, try to get video footage of this. :P

indeed, that's the main point of this announcement. i am going to make a few predictions based on the information, mainly information i bet anyone can infer: 1. the monsters are all low leveled. 2. the armor is not going to be too much better than bronze. 3. it will be located fairly close to lumbridge. the first two should be kinda duhs, because the update is clearly geared towards newbies. why else would it be a dungeon where you can progress upon answering questions about account safety? the last one, i say it will be near lumbridge because i am sure they want it to be easily accessable to newbies. but hey, it's a f2p update, and an anti-scam method at the same time, this update gets my seal of approval :P

Um... actually, lurers are WAY worse than this. agreed, never had to deal with one first hand, but i've heard the stories. lurers get you near the wildy with false promises of trades, or get you deeper in the wildy with false promises of teaming up, and then attack. the former, you lose what you brought to trade, the latter, you just get backstabbed. this guy takes a monster to a place where it will kill the people for him, but has no control over who comes, or whether the person who comes can deal with the monster long enough to get to him and kick his butt. yes this could be labled "cowardly" but it in no way makes lurers look good by comparison, i can think of little of what you can do in the wildy that can, except for x'ing, or ignoring fight rules.

do you know anything about java? the graphics are about as good as java can allow them to be. and don't suggest going into anything other than java, it would be a nightmare to move the accounts, the fact that jagax would probably bother with the members accounts only, and may even raise the membership prices for their troubles of doing so, just for the shinier wrapping paper of new graphics.

i dunno why but lemme just say this about the only RS dream i've had: Runescape meets Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Yup... my strange dream was me fighting the Rabbit of Caerbog in the wildy, and i was wearing full steel... perhaps i was wearing a steel chain, but i dunno. but then, for some odd reason, when i started to fight it, it turned into a greater demon. i can't remember if i killed it or not... but still, that's my odd RS dream.

55 to make the armor stand youself, OR you could buy it from a lvl. 55 player, and set it in a workshop room that you can get at lvl. 15.
