Wealth-only drops
I rarely bring up clan mates, only generally on combat matters because they do a lot of combat stuff. Plus I did have it bookmarked where jmods confirmed no row only drops, but I seem to of deleted it or w/e cause I remember looking it up for a similar thread a while back. Granted that's not much in the way of proof unless i find the link again, but I'm still entitled to say what I remember having read. Also I do know how to keep my sources good; rs wiki and rskb are bs and there certain j mods you can rely on for good answers while others give wrong answers often. And my luck with drop is terrible, perhaps effigies was a poor example but that was only half of what I pointed out. There plenty of drops out there that are worth more than a rune large that I should of/could of had in my entire time on rs, especially if you count them by their value at the time.

Wealth-only drops
My stats aren't stagnent, sure I don't do masses and masses of xp compared to some people but I have gained 20mil xp since feb 2011 and gained many levels. I just have other commitments and prefer having fun to power training and generally have a life outside rs. And of the slayer I did do they have mostly been good effigy droppers and based on drop rates I should of had a fair few more effigies.

1-Oct-2011: Behind the Scenes - October
Ah, I see what's going on now. When the BTS was first released, if you clicked on the picture of the Tower Door, it'd instead link you to the AGIDAD concept art. This of course has been rectified now, so there are no links at the moment to the AGIDAD concept art from the BTS. Least that explains where it came from and fact it is posted beside Dominion Tower in this thread can explain some assumptions obviously. But still its title clear kills any links between it and the tower.

Looks like a chainmail hood that many guards in game already use to me or even a full helm with the visor up, hence the point and shadowing near the top and dot half way down the face (the hinge point) Like I said it's tiny and indistinct it could be many things and the strongest support for it being the desert is the desert head gear on the npc concept art which: 1) Wasn't even posted in the bts 2) Is clearly labelled as AGIDAD which obviously means agility distraction and diversion.

Good call on the npc scout, it is most likely one of the scouts of the new agility d&d. That actually makes a lot sense in my book (more so than assuming it links to the tower), after all bts does say a scout comes to invite us while at agility courses, most of them are non-desert then the desert headwear alternate would fit for the agility pyramid. And it is very specifically labelled as npc art not item art. All item art I've seen has been just the item or drawn on generic non-detailed figures (Like this). Oh and biggest clue of all on the scout art work title: AGIDAD_Npc Scout 2011 Agi...Agility DAD...Distraction And Diversion @Trey I fail to see how "everything" points to the tower being in the desert. We have 1 piece of concept art for an npc with a desert headgear alternate that we do not know what it relates too for certain, but would fit in quite logically with the scouts for the agility D&D (+ the concept art title of AGIDAD very strongly suggests agility D & D) and 1 concept art of the tower exterior with ground that is greenish yellow that could be jungle or desert or beach or small island and a tiny figure that has nondescript armour that looks pale enough it might be desert robes, but the shape is more like armours. With architectural styling that doesn't really fit with the egyptian/arabian stylings placed on the desert . None of it is remotely conclusive and can easily point to a myriad of locales.

That art ain't in the bts, no idea where that's come from. Could be the new gloves but the project name and details section don't point towards item concept art, it all points to an npc scout of some kind. And the fact the desert headgear is an alternate suggests won't always be in the desert. The location looks like metal armour to me on the person, and earth can pile up quite easily, never been to an old castle or graveyard where walls and stuff are vanishing as the round has staked up around them? Yes it don;t move as fluidly as sand but it does move overtime.

Making a simple music video in iMovie
Just under the preview area is a row of buttons to grab stuff easily. Hit the camera button and u can drag a photo/image into your project. Then hit the musical note to drag in a music file and drop it onto the image. Should do exactly what you want, the clip will run as long as the music and display the image

But the terrain is green with a tinge of yellow, which likely just means grassy area or jungle areas (as they are green with a yellow tinge in places) and you can see more land across the water which doesn't really fit the deserts layout. And the architecture doesn't fit with the desert that draws on egyptian and kinda classic arabian styles, puts me in mind of kethsi, daemonheim and other old pre-godwars places like ghorrock. Perhaps we could FINALLY being to kudos isle? The 2nd concept art he linked to (actually not sure where it came from, but it shows a glove) has some rather random but clearly labeled "Desert Headgear" in it. What concept art is this???? Not seen it or any link to it.

Wealth-only drops
Raritys a sob. By any reasonable logic I SHOULD of had a lot of decent drops by now even from just slayer but I've only ever had 2 effigies and the most valuable drop I ever obtained was tht skull, the 2nd most valuable being a rune large. Essentially personal experience of drops means jack in the bigger picture because its all luck or the draw, same way some ppl killed 100+ glacors with no boots where as others got like 3 pairs in 10 kills.

Wealth-only drops
jagex confirmed there is no row drops somewhere or other, think it was the game update faq of the row update week. Also clan mates have had rannars, snaps, addy bars, rune bars, yew logs and brews with no row I have had a vecna skull no ring

Kuradal's Dungeon and rare drops
There are a few drops that are exclusive to RoW, like the Vecna Skull. No. Its just on the plain old rare drop table. They're on the same table, I'm just certain there are some drops you can only get with a RoW equipped. You are wrong. There are NO row only drops. The rare drop table just has several very rare drops that are really really rare without row on; yet with row become reasonably common due to its effect. They are still all there and accessible without the row though.

lol wut? they will never stop doing quests, the entire game development is geared around quests and lore. And we have heaps of quest lines unresolved including two very recent very popular quests that set up very obvious sequels (espcially as jmods confirmed the robert stuff from rotm is for the sequel)

Skimming the dev art more I get a feeling Diminion tower is gonna have an attached quest. Just the talking door thing makes me feel like we might speak to a random npc who tells us about the tower then we go there and explore and our adventuring prescence awakesn the weakened tower and we help restore it. Then the original guy shows up as some weak boss we kill the tower "eats" him and tells us we can now fighting him again and then offers to meld our experiences into its hall and quest finish with it becoming tuned to us and thus absorbing loads of bosses etc we have slayed before. Just a hunch and probably utterly wrong but ya never know; I definitely think the dominion bosses will be special forms of them thou sort of like a spirit version or something.

it always there, row just makes it more common.

Nomad won the Guaranteed Content Poll by a pretty wide margin, so I can't imagine him getting left out. Total forgot them 5 polls, so that suggests: Poll 1: None...Delrith was 2nd and they mentioned him so assuming they skipped none. poll 2 Evlarg poll 3: Fareed poll 4: evil chicken poll 4: Nomad sounds like a reasonably nice spread of bosses.

Low-level bosses have the slight problem that they are high-level slayer monsters... if you make content like the Tormented Wraith worth doing (at a low level), there will always be a high level to crash that low level because they can do the same thing but faster, cheaper etc. and make even more money. I don't see much need for bosses with a combat level cap either (e.g. you must be this level or below to enter). DG bosses, however, scale with level, that could maybe be used overworld... but lower levels should not have access to the same loot or there would be no reward from levelling apart from levelling, which is already a complaint in lots of skills. Of course a higher level can do a lower level thing better... However if you achieve high level there *should* be better things.. That's at least the thing you learn when following a course of game design & keeping people occupied: you have to give the feeling there's always a bigger mountain after the one you just climbed. But in a game where money gets you places which is better: Killing a challenging high level boss that costs you like 2k per kill and has a 1 in 1000 drop of an item worth 1mil OR camp a low end boss tht u can pwn and thus spend 1k for 10 kills and has a 1 in 10 drop rate of an item worth 100k. The obvious choice is the later, less effort and cost for more money: The first would cost you 2,000,000 for 1000 kills for a 1mil item so down by 1mil. The second cost 1k for 10 kills, make 100k that's a 90k profit at a greater speed.

I suppose that could be true, but if its an unlock combat challenges thing that is self contained and reqs quests for the bosses I can't see it taking all that long to fully unlock. I mean if its framed around quest bosses the worst we got is Nomad and i highly doubt he'd be in there (too much of a person opposed to a monster); even if we have fight cave like endurance waves we know most of the monsters so for a torva, rapier, overlord, turmoil person could it really take long to suss out?

Yes but they also say runefester goers get an exclusive EARLY preview of dominion tower. It can't be an early preview if the update is in-game before runefest; which leaves monday the 31st of october (or 1st of nov i guess)

If I'm not mistaken, they are including quest bosses, which means a lot of them will be low level. They even mention delrith. Yeah and the one of the two bosses they specifically mention is epically low levelled, and evil chicken ain;t exactly that high either

dagganoth slaying
It has better stats etc I know, my point was the cannon obliterates the daggs neway so your kill rate doesn't really change enough to matter with weapon choice, unless you use something stupidly low levelled. So it becomes a question of is the degradation cost worth it for such minuscule benefit.
