  1. With the new amulet staying power isn't important at all, it's much better to get faster kills and teleport a few times. Yeah new amulet means you can do a run home tab > prayer (> amulet to Burgh de rott for bank/recharge) > amulet to barrows. Brackets is the optional bit cause some methods you rarely need to bank and obv recharge is only once every 10 trips.
  2. Value it at gen store that gives one of the alch values if memory serves and the other can be calculated from that.

  4. Basic method tht requires little effort: Slayer dart all brothers other than ahrim and Akrisae Ahrim you want to range. Akriases hope between range and melee depending on prayer. Ideally you do dharok and karil first with prayer then just tank the rest. Do ahrim last. For real quick runs you want branches of darkmeyer done for drakan's medallion to tele to burgh de rott and barrows (bank and do run) and home tabs to get out + grab prayer. Failing tht the 500 total level reward from temple trekking gives games neckalce to burgh de rott (then run to barrows) Failing that lvl 99 Zachory in burgh de rott ramble makes the tunnel behind canafis pub jump u str8 to mort'on which is used with canafis portal in house. Failing tht just canafis portal and RUNNNNNNNN
  5. Given that half of these auras came out today and all; we have to go on is jagex description its impossible to say. Give it a few days for solid data and numbers to be gathered.
  6. Tips & Tricks: Not 100% true. When you click out and/or die you can also appear at the bottom of your rope near "Jhallan's cave" and the boat back round to snowy hunter area. I went to either place about 50:50 and grave sitting for friends also saw about 50:50 ghorrock and the boat. And this a few steps earlier: In my experience doing the quest (& several people I helped): It does NOT tell you to find the stone of Jas until the beacons, heart and ghorrock fortress steps are completed; unless you speak to Movario AFTER all these steps (eg later than ur guide suggests) it won't give you the message about Ghorrock when investigating the pillar. Also it will NOT allow you to place the heat globe until you have had the message about Ghorrock. So in short you need to take out the first bit about speaking to Movario. Add it into the start of part 11, direct players to investigate the pillar to be told about ghorrock and THEN place the globe In addition to this in terms of streamlining the guide: As you must go past ghorrock to access the site in the first place, this is the ideal time to tell players to go down for the globe opposed to sending them back later. Grave location note applies here again also it is advisable to lure Bouncer behind a tree and get him stuck. This stops he being respawned and thus saves u getting hurt by him again while u lure him to ali. titan fight: I'd question this. I used melee armour + mage protect and didn't take any damage of significance. Probably worth taking it out of the titan fight bullet points to when lucien appears and making it a bit of a bigger note, especially as this attack persists through the titans, demons, glacor and arrav segments (which all do renote this), just this first note it seems a bit odd to lump in with titan attacks. This I'd also slightly question, I used mage robes and ended up on protect from range (this was after dying in melee gear with mage protect) and took virtually no damage. Needs to be expanded on as it doesnt mention tht this attack also occurs during arrav bit. Also for arrav bit worth noting: you CANNOT attack arrav with mage or ranged, it simply will not attack. Oh and 1 final note: Strictly speaking a spade is not required; inspite of what the in-game quest guide says. Given that there are 2 spawns in kethsi that a user can grab easily (1 at top of stairs and 1 at bottom)
  7. Ah this makes me think of my friend who was being "smart" by saving up 7mil a go to do his friends dice game: 2 dice, need 6 6 to win d claws. He was ranting about [cabbage] odds after he lost for the 5th time, I was like erm dude kinda obvious the odds are against ya and 5 times at 7mil a go? You coulda just bought 2 pairs of claws. Its the fact of gambling: In the end you will lose, and the more times you gamble the greater the odds of losing are.

  9. As for the prices, well everything would just become more expensive (base price) and hence more profitable. Maybe let smithing generate products which can be used to "repair" melee equipment free of charge: so smithing becomes to melee what runecrafting is to magic. Why would it destroy it? You have to train melee 3 times? - Well What is the problem with that, why would it become useless, it still holds more dps than magic (mostly). And the costs would balance out quickly due to price rising (as obviously people have to ask much more to sustain profit). It would make equipment more expensive, yet at the same time it would mean smithing would be usefull again, and magic would become a pvm option too. (Due to more expensive prices and thus magic costs not too high anymore). The more variety the better in my books. It would destroy it for very simple reasons: More cost = less people can afford to do pvm. More cost also = harder to profit from pvm. You say prices would go up as supply would be limited; but if people have less money and pvm is a more elite thing to do due to cost demand will bottom out as well. Thus creating a limbo where pvm isn't profitable because nothing will sell. And it wouldn't create more variety, there's more than enough "variety" available its just people naturally go for the best options they can, if anything the added cost would jsut polarise things more so you had a greater bulk of players on the "cheap" level gear as they can't break through to the top end. Personally I don't see the problem, melee is naturally the best choice by and large as it is not a consuming combat format. Its the same in nearly every game out there, people go for melee as it doesn't consume stuff (and in some cases mage for the games where u have mana/reload times opposed to some form of magical ammo) You could argue range and mage should out dps melee to balance the cost; but then thats not good gameplay because it heavily favours the rich who can blow money on it. I always see these debates on the combat triangle but personally I don't see it being that unbalanced all 3 classes have max dps in similar region and all 3 have their uses and their failings. Just happens to be we don't have many pvm situations so far where there is a significant mage weakness to exploit (other than ice strykes, barrows and glacors), same as in dg there just happens to be very few monsters with a ranged weakness significant enough to warrant using it (as a general rule I know few exceptions with hexhunter etc.) Essentially I think my point is: People always turn to blame the combat skills themselves when they each in their own work fine, it's just the monsters we currently have favour certain tactics. All we need is a few bosses with epic range n melee def and boom mage pvm works fine.
  10. Apprently most of them bots r easily broken, just type out the message tht says ur ammo slot is empty and it can cause many of them to stop as they think they are out of ammo.

  12. Max of only 270? I coulda sworn I saw duel arena videos etc shortly after the quest showing max hits much higher (like into the 400s)
  13. eh, the human eye can only see up to 60 fps, right? im pretty sure thats what i heard somewhere lol.. n e ways as long as i have a nice stable fps over 70 ill be happy :) Yeah 60 fps is about the limit for the human eye anything over that is kinda pointless FPS

Yup no matter how much you argue Alexa is the "golden standard" it don't mean jack because web page hits measured that way skew data and totally overlook anything other than the first page people hit (which is rs case is a splash screen you can later divert from even if using the website) AND the all mighty flaw that you can't work around at all: Alexa only tracks users with the Alexa toolbar which means its data in no way represents general web trends or the general populace; I have never once come across anybody or any system at all who uses their toolbar in my entire life.

  17. I don't see the point, sure its a table of what the rare drops are but it doesn't guide you in getting them. Tip.it beastiary tells you what drops what nice and simple, what does it matter what drop table it comes off? Just look up the monster you want to fight and see what it drops OR just go to advanced search and search for a specific drop.

Anyone know if the different types of vyre corpses add different values to the amount needed to upgrade a flail/polearm? I've burnt 83 corpses and I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten a message saying that I've improved with the flail or blisterwood weapons. Different corpses are purely cosmetic so the corpses matches the monster (mainly wing colouring) It's easy to miss the message as its just a minor graphic and a chat box message and it only comes every 50 and 50 rarely falls at the end of load so you kinda flood it out.

  20. Wrong If you did NOT resurect Hazeel or have not done Hazeel Cult: Once the quest is completed if you DID resurrect Hazeel this sentence appears at the end tl;dr - The notes only say Hazeel is resurrected if you resurrected him
  21. I'd agree with this. Even at a total 100% upgrade (so mobo, cpu and gpu & possibly ram) you could probably spend as little as twice as much (so $200 area) for a greater spec increase and more future upgrade avenues. Throw $250 - $400 at it and you can get a pretty mean system. I mean I recently spent ~£400 on pc upgrades And I got a mobo with an AM3+ socket (so future proofed for a gd few years) 6 core cpu, 8gb ram That kind upgrade on your system would be like 15-20x improvement compared to the cpu upgrade u wanna do tht will be a fractional improvement Sure at exchange rate £400 = $600 roughly, but US pricing general runs on par with uk (eg £100 item in uk is usually $100 in us)
  22. Suppose it depends how you do the barrows, I personally found little issue with taking mage of auto-cast then just flicking between whip and x-bow to down him nice and easily. Could prob do it jsut as easy with sol melee instead of whip to save space. This is using the fairly basic maging all but ahrims method.
  23. 1) That was never a "thing" Sliske snake reference is only related to his stealthy and sly nature. Anthanakos camel head was part of Enhkara's doing, Azzandra's jackal head was a disguise to fit in with the Desert Pantheon god images to help him gain our trust 2) Probably because Hazeel being revived is implied to be quite tricky after we destroyed the easy way to do it (assuming you didn't help him) and Movario isn't exactly brilliant plus he doesn't work for Lucien any more he even says so in this quest; for his uselessness see his failure to find the Stone of Jas after years of research vs us doing it in about 5 minutes and his wandering aimlessly around looking for the stone and we find it quite easily. Plus the factor Mahjratt don't help each other out, each for their own. 3) Mahjaratt can sense each other, Jhallan was hoping his weak state and being hidden would mean they overlooked him. Lucien was super boosted by Staff of Armadyl and Stone of Jas so was more powerful and as such could feel Jhallan. and saw him as weak prey for the ritual.

    Not doing much for me honestly. (Epic crit/what I dislike follows!) First one is nice sky colouring (i presume its sky since it has the trademark sky colour dithering issues) but not real focal point. I see some words in the lower corner, but can't read them at all. Second one I kinda like but the weird waterleak type effect seems a bit too much and theres duplication areas in the lower left hand corner (I'm guessing you've rotated/warped it some how and missed cropping off the duplication) 4th I guess is long exposure car lights (by the blured car) but it just seems too flooded with light around the top imo and ends up looking like a computer render graphic opposed to a photo and a poor one at tht so just sort of ends up meh with a blurry car. 5th seems nice but the water droplets(?) seem a bit swamped in colour, I feel a bit more clarity to them agaisnt the colour would add so much to the final effect. 3rd I am at an utter lose as to what it is, and am undecided what I think of it.
  25. I honestly have no idea on mine, I was in upper tier area though so I presume mostly lords and ladys; perhaps there is a bigger accuracy effect that I thought on the weapons (I have 500 corpse burns done)
