As noted in my original post vampyre 2 and 3 need image updates still , they match the appearance of vampyre 1 Oh and I noticed some more incosistencies: Vanescula Drakan, Vyrelord, Vyrelady and Vyrewatch -7- are all under humanoid opposed to undead Vyrewatch -6- is under animal Also mis-numbering: Original vyrewatch should be vyrewatch -1- And in the numbering there is no vyrewatch -5- (so 6 should be 5 and 7 should be 6) Definitely seems like vampyre as a race would be a good move. 28 of them exist atm (19 when you search vampyre + dessous and vanstrom*2 + 3 under humanoid + 1 under animal) which is larger than some of the race groupings you use (only 9 elven and 7 plant). Kinda a tangent and would be a fairly large job, but seems like it may be worthwhile: Add some sort of note/section about Salve application. Afterall there's a fair few undead is doesn't work on and if memory serves a few non-undead's it does work on.

True but as far as we know after Acolyte its Partisan > Temple Knight Partisans appear to be the best White Knight rank, so its not like Acolyte is low. Though I do agree if rotm is giving us acolyete how massive a threat must there be for partisan status? Maybe the dragonkin?

I think it'd be ok. I mean the armours and ranks have never really been the bulk of the reward for quests; just sort of a sidenote that happens to be quite awesome. I mean we got told "Rewards include huge XP lamps, access to a new reward dungeon, equipment, a new spell, ranging gear, and new gear for the feet slot." So it's not like the armour would be a massive part of the reward, heck the wording of tht BTS phrase implies they haven't even told us everything. @Jolletzu They are white knights, you can clearly see by their armours the match white knights. The Temple Knights are a secret organisation within the white knights. Sir Tiffy etc are all White Knights, Temple knight is just sort of the ultimate rank. Hence the entire string of we cannot be a Temple Knight until we are a fully fledged white knight which is why we are working our way up through the ranks.

Talk to Hartwin in the guard quarters of Varrock Castle. You get taken to an instanced area used for that quest (eg not real wildy) that includes the surface area (graveyard, altar etc) and access to the dungeon.

Erm Vampyre 1 2 and 3 and rev seem to of lost their pictures. Also Dessous doesn't show when searching Vampyre in beastiary; which is a minor issue. But if Count Draynor does, surely he should. Same applies to both Vanstrom's. Also inconsistency the first Vanstrom is listed as Race: Undead, Vanstrom -Darkmeyer- is listed as race: human

I meant balance of cost, time and effort. Cause last numbers I saw fish was fair bit cheaper per xp than wines, more afkable but slower.

Yes there's several of them if memory serves. There's a thread lurking about somewhere, tip.it has gone over tht place with a fine toothcomb (within the limits of orb of occulos)

Time wise: Wine owns the house. Balance wise: Best fish you can do without burning tends to be the best choice; at rogues den.

Random assumption based on very limited info alert! Don't get your hopes up; there is nothing that 100% verifies we get Acolyte. Just that we seem to get a squad of Acolytes. Until we see the quest reward or a picture of a player wearing it don't assume anything! But new best in-game prayer armour does seem a likely step for rotm, though one wonders how big the quest will have to be for us to get full temple knight gear if rotm is needed for acolyte. Also Zaros mahjratt all seem pretty nice so far and why not help us? They don't want Zamorakian mahjaratt winning, and they definitely don't want another one to become a god; which Lucien is working towards.

Doesn't the in-game task list kinda of do this for you? It shows padlocks on tasks you cannot complete.

You do realise that "Bonus xp" marker counts only the current session? Everytime you log off it clears back to 0. You didn't lose anything.

Too sinewy to be addy dragons. Although I believe we'll see addy and possible one or two rune dragons though! Metal dragons have the trademark green eye. It's a rather old piece of concept art and to me I always just chalked it up as the reworked green dragons; doesn't look right to be a metal one.

AFAIK While the xp count doesn't go beyond 200m it doesn't stop you 'gaining' xp. Eg if you have 200m fish xp and catch a fish the xp counter near map will still register an xp gain and everything else it counts towards like random event trigger etc, just the 200m xp won't change to anything higher.

In the game update FAQ it was noted Barrows tunnels was a bug and would be fixed. Smoke bomb is a very obvious mistake though, dialogue when getting them CLEARLY states vyrewatch won;t be fooled and it is a key part of the quest mechanic that you time you runs to avoid vyrewatch as the bombs don;t work.

Didn't you get the memo? No matter how much back end tech work involved in something the absolutely only thing you can evaluate an update by for size is new items, skills and quests. This adds to the prior memo that states because you are not low levelled anything that does not create a new best also does not count as a proper update.

Blurb says we get allies (again) Rocking out I'd say pirate captains help us. Fairy tale 3 I'd say fairy queen sends help etc. Opps, i skipped over that part :L I suppose that's the more logical idea! Though Rocking out was the quest that revealed a good lot about Rabid Jack, was it not? Though I suppose it is the quest were we make most of the pirate allies too, including that weird guy who gave us the Ex-Parrot :P Its when we got the pirates captains confidence and its an Ex-Ex-Parrot fool! What exactly would we gain from an alliance with the pirates though eh? I guess in part IF there was something with the pirates and... *looks around* Rabid Jack was involved, then alright, it would perhaps tie up the loose end that Bill Teach might someday be turned into Blackbeard in game (the real Blackbeard was really called William Teach) and we need to get rid of Rabid Jack for that... However, the only things against Majarrat we'd gain would be rum and cannons... So are we gona take crates of rum to the ritual area, have a wild party and get them all drunk, and then let the pirates fire on them? I know this is Jagex, but even I wouldn't think they'd do that. What Octarine spotted though was there were a few pictures of Mos le'Harmless on the Dev Blog for RotM, and also there are loads of strange rocks about the place (you use your ex-parrot on one to bring it back to life or something I've heard) that have magical ressurectional abilities... So I'd say it's more in line with that. And I agree with the above poster... I find that kinda odd that they don't have NR there too... Just like it's Rocking Out instead of A Clockwork Syringe (thus further disproving the theory of Rabid Jack and the Pirate Captains)... The pirates are suggested to be a formidable fighting force when necessary, just that the modern world has pushed them to the fringes. Plus the ritual site is quite near the sea and pirates have lots of ships, which could give covering fire with cannons in the big battle. Personally I think its perfectly logical that it has nothing to do with Rabid Jack, it's got to be something Rocking Out gives us in terms of abilities and allies. The only the things we get are Rabid Jack lore expanded, useless to mahjaratt fight, and the trust of all the pirate captains, which can be useful in raising an army to fight. Need for Mos Le'Harmless may apply but it can't be the reason for Rocking Out, we only need Cabin Fever for that; kinda like Fairy quests sure we need to get to Kethsi via fairy rings, but that doesn't justify fairy tale 3, all that justifies that is the Queen being indebted to us and again our need for allies. Alos the Dev blog having "alot" of pictures of it is wrong; dev blog has 3 pictures. 1 is mos le'harmless (presumably since jungle horrors are present, but no landmark features to be 100% certain), 1 is fally park, talking to tiffy cashien at a guess by location, 3rd is a "new area" that appears to be a dungeon. I was sure that the ritual stone/site is actually right by Zemourgles(sp?) fortress which isn't really by the sea so that kinda discounts that theory of covering fire... (see Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien - one of the most recent posts has the co-ordinate location). And yes the fairy ring does justify Fairy 3 - fairy 3 teaches/shows/allows you to use multiple teles - eg. DIR, tele back, AKS, oh you're in Kethsi. I'm positive someone without Fairy 3 wouldn't be able to do that... Beauty of the sea being it wraps all around the land! Pirates can get on their boats and sail around from their islands to north coast near ritual area! Also we know it must be quite close to the sea, we didn't take Jhallan that far into the cave to be under the ritual site and cannons can fire along way and the pirates can still land on that northern coast to help us attack. And that post you mentioned shows the ritual site to be right near the coast! Also we used stacked fairy rings in part 2 to reach their hideout, its not new to part 3 and I have friends who not done 3 who been to Kethsi.

I'm interested in this as well; since my desktop will become my bedroom TV at uni (it has the card for it) but it'd be useful to be able to tell it to shutdown via my laptop.

Yeah, I have no idea why people are panicing about this. It's business as usual, if your old method of prayer flashing doesn't work it may be time to investigate another ;) Yeah from what I've heard/seen this means nothing to flashing. Prayer still drains on the same numerical number of ticks, just difference is it drains 10 - 19 opposed to 1

4-5k ess an hour is probably about average rate I'd say, assuming you're not epic pro 1 track mind meta-gaming beast but equally not some limited attention span froob who works for 1 minute then sits n talks for another 9mins. And even that probably leaves u with some excess (as saradomin_mage's numbers show)
