Vyrewatch slayer task
Well I've not done them enmass, but current average more than 3 hits was rare. But even if 3-4 hits is the true average its still hardly sloooooooooooowwww

Vyrewatch slayer task
Shouldn't make too much impact. The burns increase accuracy slightly and only add ~100 to max damage. Even in just the darkmeyer outfit. no pots prayers or other boosters I could easily down them in 2 - 3 hits. Plus good thing is right by bank = bank corpses as you go = easy maxing of the weaponary

Total level xp goal sig
Ah yes, I see the problem, I was just thinking of the minimum required. Thanks But minimum required hardly makes for a good progress bar, or even a progress bar at all in many cases. Bare minimum is 1.5m xp lvl 40 in all 25 skills. But if you have 1 level 77 you already have that much xp, but if all your other stats are low you could only have ~100 total level. So then you "progress" bar would show 100%/complete despite being miles away Another good example: For me to have 2200 total level the minimum is level 88 across the board (109.6m xp); I have 155m total xp so by the "minimum" logic I should have all lvl 92s and 2300 total level or I'd be ~150% of the way to 2200 total level according to my progress bar And this doesn't even factor in some skills be epically faster/easier to train the others eg 2 - 3 weeks you can do hunter 1 - 99 but farming 1 - 99 takes a few months minimum due to grow times but which is the "minimum"? The faster or the less effort?

Vyrewatch slayer task
Shame they drop neither charms nor effigies, we already have LRC tasks for xp thank you very much Jagex <_<. True but they are fast, reasonbly good xp and have other drops that while not amazing are enough to skim along profit; especially since you can camp them in Darkmeyer right by the altar and bank using the blisterwood weapons that easily hit into 700-800 region

Vyrewatch slayer task
The tasks first turned up after Branches of Darkmeyer and so far I've only seen/heard of people getting them after completing the quest. So I'll go with yes its a "reward" in kind for the quest

thinkin bout gettin a new cpu..
Should work as the sockets match, worth it; its up to you really. Only gaining 1.1ghz processing power, but it would quadruple you cache from 512kb to 2mb. To me it seems rather expensive for the specs, but then I use AMD and the socket you have is kinda old-ish so processor options are scarcer.

State of the Game in Graphs and Numbers
Such ranking sites SUCK as they do not at all monitor everything and that is why they show pointless "traffic rankings" that could mean any number of stupid things. Plus they all only monitor specific input sources (eg people with their add-on/tracker installed) and as eissW rightly points out not everyone hits runescape.com game clients eliminate a huge segment of traffic, as do users with tabbed browsers that use sleep/hibernate as the page doesn't get reloaded. Plus factor in the movie intro, that if you tick to skip means you are re-directed from runescape.com which holds the intro page to something like runescape.com/title.ws which again dillutes traffic. Then sites like mini-clip offer the game embedded which divert runescape.com all together. tl;dr: These kind of graphs show nothing due to the many flaws in their data gathering and the many factors that eliminate web-traffic from a true reading of how things are. Doom-sayers have trotted them out hundreds of times, but they still mean nothing. And fyi alexa is one the WORST for traffic info, it only monitors browsers where its toolbar is installed, which is a very very very very very very small portion of internet users.

I can see why KB articles may be wrong when they go live; afterall they have to have time to write the things and last minute changes would make for errors; but its more the fact these errors persist for months and months if not years; or are so wildly wrong they couldn't possibly be a last minute tweak (eg showing a weapon with +200 crush when it actually has 0)

Jagex's new building/mansion in Cambridge
OMG a successful growing company is upscaling its offices? What new horror! Seriously nothing to do with bots or dodgy dealings. Jagex is growing, RS just gets bigger and bigger and several other games are growing and/or being begun. The teams grow and so do the offices.

Pro-tip: If its excel just put it on google docs. Known website, download not required, allows you to make tweaks and refine it and users always are using latest version.

Summoning
Charm Sprite hunting, Spirit Impling Hunting, Dorgenshkhaan Chests all give charms without combat. But given you're time frame I doubt you'll manage it.

14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat
Because mahjratt all have their own goals and rarely co-operate; besides Sliske obviously isn't too fussed if he was he would of done something by now. Afterall he's been free where as Azzandra was imprisoned until we recently freed him. Sliske likes having his powerful toys, you as a great hero of the age are an obvious choice.

They all look same as their prior quests except Khazard & Azzandra who were in human form to blend in. Hazeel I'm not sure but I vague recall him being mahjratt look since they updated hazeel cult.

14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat
Not sure if anyone's answered this yet -- still catching up on the thread:  [hide]Yeah Zaros beacons didn't aid us it was simply: Zaros presence empowers his followers. Zamorak and all other gods can be felt all over the world (cept armadyl since he sodded off) giving followers strength everywhere. Zaros fade out banishment thing severed him from the world. At the temple where Azzandra made the portal he feels Zaros presence again and thus is empowered, but the portal is weak so the effects only reach the temple. Azzandra made the beacons to absorb power in the temple and radiate it back out wherever they were placed; thus giving him Zaros' power to use agaisnt Lucien as seen in the cutscene. Our boosted stats can't be attributed to this as we don't get boosted stats in the temple, so it doesn't logically follow that the beacons give us power. A far more logical route is that we once again touched the stone of jas and thus got a booster. This is further backed up by the fact if you die, tele out or use brews etc your stats do not raise again when you return to the area. Returning to the area (even if you tele out of Khazard fight) skips 1 thing: you touching the stone. Therefore stone gave us booster.[/hide]

14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat
[hide]Because he never takes it back literally; just by bringing him close enough to it you break Zemergouls spell over him allowing him to follow his own free will and thus aid you in the battle; equally as the spell has been severed he deteriorates (essentially being a zombie and all) until he crumbles into dust and is finally free from being trapped half-alive.[/hide]

Lol you want an 1m xp reward? I think those big xp rewards are big enough. You have 11m xp, I have over 275m. For you, 1m xp is a lot. For me, not so much. Its all in perspective. I'll wait for a guide. Homework then a game of LoL before class. Sounds epic though! Yeah but the quest doesn't require you to have 200m+ xp does it? So it is a lot for the quest reqs. Totally illogical attempt at an argument. Quest rewards are not tied directly to what is needed for the quest. And half a million xp is around 2-3 hours of skilling, if that. Lol, you are now saying that it doesn't matter if it is a GM quest or not for the rewards. So a novice quest could get 500k xp. Also try to get 500k runecrafting xp in 3 hours, maybe it would work with effigies but only if you are maxed. I think you're totally misunderstanding what Stonewall is trying to say. Stonewalls point in baby steps: 1m xp may not be alot to you as you have 275m total xp; but the quest DOES NOT require you to be anywhere near that high level wise. The reward IS massive if you are just on the requirement levels or a little over; you can't judge it against your current place. Its the same way when a new low end quest comes out you can't expect it to be give you millions of xp just cause you happen to have 200m+ total xp; the rewards are appropriate to the content level.
