Time Lapse Photography
I agree, but this is just shot from my window, nothing too interesting to frame in foreground. I could of took in just some tree tops I did trial one like that, but they twitch about so much it kinda looks bad. It is the trouble of time lapse photography vs time lapse video.

Various photos - 19th july HDR take 2 and some randoms
Yes I have a tripod and only the garden with blue sky are HDR, all photos in top post were done with tripod; other than the last 3. Though moon I rushed so no remote just shutter button and shivering and last 3 of ornaments n keys were random snapshots while bored done free hand.

How is asking a question not taking criticism? Also how is it not taking criticism to want comments made on the second attempt, which no-one did they just kept banging on about the first attempt? Especially given the 2nd attempts are quite clearly less sharpened and less contrasted than the originals.

Diskette Drive 0 seek failure, unable to load computer..?
diskette seek failure = harddrive is dead No two ways about it really if it can't be read its dead; only other option is a corrupted boot file but you'd need to plug the drive into a different system and boot that to see if it can find it

The 4 pictures are from the god letters which is hinted at by the gods play things phrase. Within the god letters all 4 pictures have an extra item. Top left the air rune has been obsured Top right an iron pick is removed Beer glasses vanished from runelink board and a knife and fork from the skull. This gives air rune, iron pick, beer glass, knife (since we have knives but not forks in game) The numbers are hemmed in with skill symbols, but they don;t match up. You re-arrange the 4 quarters of the image til the skill logos match, when you do this you end up with: 14 2 3 7 Then you match the grid results up 14 air rune 2 iron pick 3 beer glass 7 knife

Time Lapse Photography
I wanna try and get a moon rising and a sunset in timelapse; just need right conditions to crop up. Trying to think of some other subjects it might work well with, I thought perhaps getting on a cliff top at coast and doing a timelapse of a busy-ish beach. Its interesting trying to find subjects that are workable due to the limitations on timing etc; that timelapse filled my memory card with 650 shots (granted I left it on photo + raw and raw file is useless for this) taken over 2 3/4 hours roughly.

Hints if you so wish Pictures: [hide] Gods play things is important. [hide] The graphics are all old, whats something old and linked to the gods? [hide] Check the god letters under submissions [hide] All 4 pictures feature in a god letter but they all have had an item obscured/removed... [/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide] Numbers: [hide] Look at the edges, those skill logos don;t match up... [hide] Can the 4 quarters be swapped to make things match? [/hide][/hide]

Time Lapse Photography
Been experimenting with it lately, quite pleased with this pieces outcome, lucked out on unusual bi direction cloud movements. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with the timing, but not enough frames to slow it down further. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=US69Qj0b-NY

Future Update Discussions
But there is a bit of exp to be had, I know they said it won't be comparable to the best activities on the main world but hopefully it's decent. Plus it charges tht ring tht gives 1.5x on base world according to what they have said. So could be worthwhile just to charge the ring to help elsewhere

I think it's just you. Everythings been f2p in some respect. Sure membership and knowing shattered heart made this particular location more obvious and the clue did include some members skill icons; but even f2p players can freely see all that in-game. @wormy If people want subtle clues sure, but there's a difference between posting "I took this, don't see where I went wrong" or "I thought it was x y z,, totally stumped now!" which invites nudges and posting "x, y and z is wrong" which is jsut a report back of wrong combos which help re-direct our efforts.

That's not wrong to do, just pointless to continue posting wrong setup after wrong setup once the right answer is posted. @Kaida Varrock museum. Thought that was kinda blatently obvious from the picture and reference to shattered heart; though tbf I spose f2p means no need to know that.

Saphira you do realise the answer has BEEN POSTED? Posting what you tried and failed is kinda pointless now; its been solved. We don't need more input on what doesn't work, even if you do wish to try it yourself without reading the answer.

So the numbers go: [hide] 14 2 3 7 Based on the skill icons at their edges, in this arrangement you get no broken icons [/hide] I guess the images are [hide] Wool, gold bar, eye of newt and air runes [/hide] so: [hide] 14 wool 2 gold bar 3 air rune 7 eye of newt [/hide]

Yeah, the only "difficult" bit of the maps is figuring where the map is for, which given f2pness makes the search much easier. Took me all of 5 minutes to find all the spots and even that was delayed by like 3 minutes of irl distractions and scrolling around not twigging draynor one straight away. (for some reason the lack of manor or bank or prison threw me)

Kind of a shame since I was hoping today would be nice and tricky, but I like the way the clues worked anyway :) It'd have been nicer if the maps covered p2p areas but ofc they cant down to it being f2p, just made it a bit easy really. Your too fast! lol I'd sussed dice in maps = number and each mapped showed an item spawn. Hadn't sussed locations yet thou. For anyone who is interested: [hide=Map locations] First is general store in Musa Point for rope spawm Second is Edgeville, glove spawn jsut below bank Third is Draynor log spawn in house north of Betty and west of Morgan Fourth is Lumbridge mind rune spawn by stairs[/hide]

Dude, those notes are right, you did it just fine... You probably solved wrong the clues given in the forum post... [hide=Answer]A8, E2 and G6[/hide] [hide] He did A9 not A8. So miss solved: L - (X+X) - XXII to 9 instead of 8 50 - (10 + 10) - 22 50 - 20 - 22 30 - 22 8 My guess is mis reading XXII as XXI [/hide]

Various photos - 19th july HDR take 2 and some randoms
I have no idea what you're on about here. Top post some random attempted moon shots then 3 HDR attempts. Then further down the thread I re-did 2 of the HDRs and posted 2 random photos. Then ElkNight & Tripisis & Nadril commented on the original 3 HDRs - my point being why keep banging on about them three when they have been redone and clearly attempt 2 is better, if not perfect. It's no help to me to just have the comments on the first three repeated and repeated when I've re-attempted the compiling and want feedback on the new ones. Yes I asked a question that disagreed with part of what was said, but that's because I genuinely fail to see how to a shot with extreme dark and extreme light that cannot be capture with standard means is not suitable conditions for HDR. Since HDR's whole point is such compositions. And yes I moaned about parts of feedback about boring composition, but that's because the very first thing I said when posting them was they aren't that interesting as I was just trying out HDR so it's not like I'm taking boring shots of the garden and claiming they are amazing and need to be told they are boring; I acknowledged tht off tht bat.
