  1. I knew this was gonna happen when they switched all their webhosting over to Herp Derp International.
  2. Or it works similar to tool shed in Lumby swamp to Zanaris?
  3. >every bot banned >it's empty Makes sense Ooooooh yeah! Dig it!
  4. That's because all the cool posters would be there.
  5. The only things Jagex flasks contain is delusions and PR talk. And the tears of their loyal players. Also alcohol. You know, so you won't care as much about the delusions and PR talk. Everybody wins! Well, the tears are 18% alcohol because Jagex's screwing up of Runescape pushes us to drink.
  6. The only things Jagex flasks contain is delusions and PR talk. And the tears of their loyal players. Jagex Condoms: For even when everything goes right, you still get screwed.
  7. Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpouse of 2.5% bonus exp? Sense when has Jagex ever cared about something making sense?
  8. This is all I've ever gotten. As for contributing, are not my witticisms and shining personality in every post not contribution enough? Although, I have been thinking of late that a Tip.It coffee mug would be real nice in the mornings. Yeah, but then you'd also need a Jagex flask filled with liquor to put in your coffee before playing Runescape.
  9. Better companies than Jagex have gone broke for forsaking their long held principles.
  10. Yes, the pop ups I get aren't that bad and tend to be the same thing every time and don't try to leave any malware or anything. If that's all there is, I'll happily donate many bags of sour Skittles to keep it that way.
  11.     Thank you. That made me laugh and I needed this today. =D>
  12. While me and others were critical of Jagex, we still thought them above such activites to drive up their membership. We are upset over them using such ploys that should be, frankly, beneath them. Perhaps I am naive for thinking they are better than they really are, but it still pains me to watch it.
  13. BXPW won't get my membership, only ROTM will. After that, I doubt I'll ever get members again.
  14. Does that mean I can't flash my boobs for gp anymore?    It's funny though. They removed Romeo and Juliet because they didn't want to send the wrong message to new players. What kind of message 80% of the avatars on any given world using some type of bot send? <_<
  15. Runescape is dead. It's just too dumb to realize that and keeps going.
  16. Exactly Ginger and I think that is the crucial mistake they are making. They are going to kill off their main source of revenue and run this thing into the ground.
  17. I have no problem with money grubbing. I do have a problem with poor business. The people in control of Jagex are running it very poorly. And let's be honest with ourselves, does anyone think Jagex won't or isn't blatantly lying to us nowadays?
  18. As Krusty the Clown once said: "They drove a dump truck full of money up to my house! I'm not made of stone!" Because history told us that Andrew wouldn't give up control of his product because 1) He already has a lot of money and 2) he made you think his goal wasn't only about money.
  19. Actually it's what happens if you eat 3 Curries in a row.
  20. Lold. How can this possibly be true? I doubt it costs more than $5 per bot to get rid of or explain. If they are expensing legal fees as part of their anti-bot budget, I could see the corporate POV... maybe. Maybe the botmakers actually own Insight and bought out Jagex?
  21. Let's all go to Farmville where at least the people in charge there are honest about being in it only for the money.
  22. But how much faith would people have in Microsoft if Bill Gates sold off all (not some, all) of his shares? None. The company would fold like a cheap lawn chair. Diversification of your portfolio is one thing, completely bailing out is another. I wouldn't be surprised if Andrew's current position at Jagex was in name only, just to keep faith with the players that at least someone there still knows what the heck he's doing. I think he just has a job and works there now. Maybe gets a consulting fee too, but he's not anything anymore other than another employee.
  23. Least then I would've been out of it sooner and saved myself some time.
  24. I'd gladly have back Iddison and his Gnomecopters over Gerhard and his Refer a Friend program.
  25. Okay. Main point, as pointed out by Smellysocks in the Kknowledge Base is that Jib was punished for doing what Jagex said in their own KB they want them to do. The icing on the cake is that he was punished for doing it on a site not directly related to Runescape or Jagex.
