  1. But he didn't. He simply said he thought they didn't deserve to win this year. He never encouraged anyone to do anything, just gave his opinion.
  2. No, I didn't. I was hoping to find another use for said dead horse.
  3. Problem is with them always being quiet and never opening up, it's hard to believe that their staying silent is a temporary thing. I don't think it is.
  4. Can I borrow the head of that horse? I need one to stick in MMG's bed.
  5. Since he has a job here, could you guys start paying Will H then? He still can't support me and our love child.
  6. That's not how it works my friend, If he acts the same way here he did on there, he'd be very popular. Popularity =/= modship. He'd be popular in a number of ways for a number of reasons. This would lead to him being offered a mod position. Add to that a good repuatation as well as some good old fashion name recognition value and TIF would benefit from his presence here. That is how he'd get modship. Like along the lines of how quickly Racheya or Ezkaton got theirs.

  8. Jiblix, tell them they can't fire you, you quit! Then come to TIF. You could probably get modship here quickly. You have a good reputation.
  9. How do you work together when one side thinks something is important and something needs to be done about it, so he does it, and the other side disagrees and does nothing about it, but does something because the other side actually did something?
  10. Fair enough. Any chance maybe you could say that you can *not* support their bid for the award? :geek:
  11. I don't think it's good business routinely alienating your core fan base. The problem is that more and more of thier 'core fan base' are robots playing 24/7. The shifts that Jagex have made have undoubtedly made some players angry and quit, but the shifts also made way for hundreds of thousands more 'players' (bots) to give their money to Jagex. It's good business* to tick off 10 loyal customers if doing so leads to 100 more mindless customers coming to fill their shoes. *Good in financial terms, which is all they investers care about, not PR. Until there just arn't enough real players left for the bots to be profitable. In which case there will then be a mass exodus and jagex loses alot of cash all at once and company fails. Eggggggggggg-xactly!
  12. I dunno, I don't speak for the entirety of the staff. O_o That would be something to ask the administrators. But I can't imagine, personally, there being much point in it--we're a RuneScape fansite. Because maybe the majority of the staff is upset with Runescape and Jagex and might want to send a message. I was mostly curious if you guys would get payback for doing so.
  13. Kim, could Tip.it as a whole recommend another game for the award much in the same way a newspaper may endorse a certain candidate in a political race without any fear of retribution? I'm not saying will you, but could you? Again, without retribution by Jagex, such as losing Platinum status?
  14. No, but with so many options to pick from if you get right into a game and see autotypers everywhere selling gold you'll bail quickly.
  15. His point was that he's being punished acting exactly how in the KB they say they want their mods to act. But Moe, we all know the KB is rarely accurate. Clearly the website team got wrong what Jagex wants their forum mods to do, aka help silence the dissenters. -edit- Golv, it's because the Golden Joystick awards he's talking about is in the catergory of f2p.
  16. I don't think it's good business routinely alienating your core fan base.
  17. Oh look, it's that guy being sarcastic again.
  18. Once again. It wasn't on their site nor even a fan site! It was on Youtube dangit. And he didn't say anything contrary to what they've said.
  19. And I'd say he didn't not cross any reasonable line. That video isn't critical really. It's just things as they are. Not only that, but he didn't even do it on their forums. He did it on a third party site.
  20. We do. We just think it's a poorly run business.
  21. Well, the Knowledge Base will have tips for cheating, but people will come here for the accurate tips on cheating. Heck, the name even fits. Maybe cheats.tip.it?
  22. Yes it does. Freedom of speech, least in US technically only applies to the government. Private enterprise can stifle speech in any way they see fit. The fact that Jagex did this over that video shows how sad they are.
  23. I'm sure you can manage to criticize Jagex without posting pictures of [bleep]s, like those who've posted the other 239 posts in this thread. lol Hey, that was a take off of a classic Bugs Bunny joke. And it was a picture of a candy rooster on a stick. Any recommendations? I'm open to suggestions.
  24. If you're happy playing old content that has no bots at it, then yeah, you can stay. If you want to play any new content or walk through the GE, then no. I was taken aback when I saw that even frost dragons were being heavily botted. Even with skill reqs as high as 85 DG and decent CB stats, people are zealous enough to 'risk' their accounts for afk money. But when I think about it more, I guess what it really comes down to is that 'risk' is just about non-existent. Bummer. I really liked this game too. I was going to rip into you for the notion that there is a "risk" in botting now, but I remembered you have not been here so I will let it slide.
