Damnit. Friends getting all excited about this stupid drinking game they created. They created beer-ice, too, which is the most [bleep]ing stupid idea ever, and they're all thinking it's the best thing in the world.

Well, I consider them pretty good friends. So telling them to piss off would've been uncalled for. Though, I would expect my roommate, who is one of my best friends, to respect that I was going to bed. Just didn't want to be 'the party pooper'. If the girl was a girl I liked, I wouldn't have minded. :P

Yah, me neither until I died like four times in a row in 4 seconds, heh. :P Was full shields, had a guy down to two shots, was lining up my final headshot and by then, he had whipped out his pistol and unloaded on me to kill me before I could finish him. I was quite annoyed. :s In Halo 2 and Halo 3, you couldn't fire the pistol as fast as in Reach, right?

I'm hoping that if I start playing enough, I'll get better. But it doesn't seem like that's happening. As for the beta, it's okay. I actually don't really like zero bloom, tbh. Pistols are so overpowered when they have no bloom. And it's kinda annoying for me (since I never played Halo 2 or Halo 3 live) to have shield left and get killed by a dmr shot to the head because of shield bleed or whatever it's called.

Last night two girls from my high school drove down to hang out with my two other friends and me. Everyone was drunk, and I was planning on going to bed early. So they left for a party, and I went to bed. They came back 40 minutes later, turned on the lights, and hung out in the room while I just laid there in my bed, semi-annoyed. Then, one of the girls, who I consider a friend (not attracted to at all) decided to get all flirty with me. She asked if she could lay down next to me (she was really drunk) and so I said okay, just because she was drunk and I didn't want to be mean. It was so uncomfortable, just laying there with her next to me. Didn't help that I only had shorts on. Made sure I was under the covers and she was above. :s I was so happy when they left. That was my night. Didn't go to bed until 12:30am, though I should've been sleeping since 10:00pm when they first left.

Master your desires. Tons of people do it. People should never act solely on their appetites, especially when doing so could, as many pro-choice people in this thread hint at, ruin your life. A woman is not always fertile. You can have sex without creating a child. The problem (that seems like it will never be solved, unfortunately) is that people feel they must have sex, even before they're ready to raise a child. People survive fine without having sex. And the act of sex has a purpose: to make a child. There is no primary 'need' to have sex. It's a desire, most likely inherent in us so that we don't fall off the face of this planet. People use birth control to separate the responsibilities and consequences that come from sex (it's whole purpose being the creation of a child) from the pleasure one gets from it. And that, I find, is selfish when coupled with the fact that you will not die solely because you don't have sex. Maslow's hierarchy of needs Also, see that food and shelter is at the bottom with sex. You can also enjoy those without needing to fulfill them to keep living. I can eat something right now, and enjoy it just for the taste rather than to fill my stomach, and it would still be a primary need. Sexual desire is not a part of our nature as animals that we need to suppress, and now that we can minimize the risks of sexual contact. I look at that hierarchy (knew it'd be brought up) and I see those primary needs. Each one, if ignored for a lifetime, would result in death; each one except sex. Why do you think sex is a primary need? Is it because of the pleasure we get from it, or because we need it to keep the human race alive? Your food example does not apply, because food, regardless if you're hungry or not, still gives your body nutrients. You do not separate the act of gaining nutrients from the pleasure of eating something by eating it with the mindset that, "Hey, I'm not hungry, but this tastes good, so I'll eat it." The pleasure of eating it is still coupled with some sort of nutrient gain. It should be the same with sex: you can have sex for the pleasure, but you shouldn't separate this pleasure wholly from what sex is for in the first place. @Randox, I agree with you. I just find abortion and birth control, even though their damage control 'things', as giving more people a reason to have sex without being ready for a child. They have a 'way out', so to speak. I see them as doing more damage then help at this point. I know it won't change anytime soon. And that sucks. :\

After days of crappy games (so many high ranks D:), it's always nice to have a good game once in a while. Granted, any of you could've done better than I during this game, but I found it fun. I backed down when I needed to and played relatively smart. EDIT: Got my first extermination today. Was really stupid.

Friday. Phew. Only two classes today. :thumbup: I dunno how much rest I'll get this weekend, since one of my high school friends who is a year younger is coming up, and he loves to party. I'm not much of a party-person (depends on who I'm with), so I'm hoping my roommate and a few other friends will take him out so I can maybe go to bed early.

I've said it a thousand times, but kids who get so excited over alcohol. My roommate and I picked up 30 beers last night and he was literally acting like a kid who just found out he was going to get a new toy. All annoying and talking about how funny it was that we were hiding all the alcohol. I just wasn't in the mood. And he's planning on getting [cabbage]-faced tonight. I said: "Dude, you're taking care of yourself. I'm not dealing with that [cabbage]." >.>

Today morning classes were cancelled, so I got to sleep in for once. Played a bit of Halo, which didn't go too well. Now I'm working on my computer science assignment (enjoying it, too). I have a chemistry 'lab test' tonight; dunno what the hell that's gonna be like. Not going to study, since it's open lab notebook, and I've written every thing in our lab manual in there just in case. Probably will have to go get help on physics today, too. :\ Dread that class so much. And, in regards to weather, it's starting to rain and get cold and misty outside now. I bought a nice rain jacket yesterday, so I'm all set for that. :thumbup:
