  1. It's adventurous. What's more badass in high school than making out with a girl in front of all the other students. Though it never happened at my school, I'd find it super [bleep]ing annoying, too. I'd probably make fun of people who did that. Assuming you meant making out in the hallways.
  2. I love this one. Also, , especially after you say something weird (like a joke about incest). And :-D .

    Nostalgia

And you just reminded me about how exciting school supply shopping was when I was a kid.

    Today...

My roommate today said in one of the most smartass voices ever, "This weekend, we should dress up in our Sunday best, hit the town, and find us some girlfriends!" I laughed pretty hard.

^ Yup. Apostrophes are fine when used to signify possession.
  6. She's been posted, I think. But, doesn't hurt. Blake Lively.

    Nostalgia

When on long RV trips, my family would pop in the cassette tape of Billy Joel's Storm Front album. Just remembered today how good it was, so I just downloaded it. Major nostalgia. You all should give it a listen (at least "Downeaster Alexa"). :D

    Abortion

You said that it had psychological benefits. And while later in the child's life, it might, just after birth it tends to be quite the opposite. Well psh. I wasn't saying there weren't any psychological deterrents. :\ I was talking only about benefits.

    Today...

First philosophy exam today. I think it'll go well. I'm tired as hell, though. My roommate and I stayed up late last night laughing really hard about people in our classes that are just idiots.
  10. Yah. I've kinda lost interest in TIF cause of this. It isn't much fun anymore. :\

    I can't find where I said raising a child didn't have psychological effects. D: I don't think I said that. If I did, I must have mis-typed, cause I'd never claim that. :s

Geez... Of course there will be hardships in raising a child, but seeing your child grow into a person and all that seems to outweigh it by a lot... I just can't really see how you can talk about a child as just a financial drain, a stressful 'thing' that's around all the time, etc. Seeing something you raised become successful, learn, all that - the joy from that should be more important to you than money and stress/loss of sleep. But hey, I guess some people just don't like kids.

I demand to know of this research!

    Abortion

Not all births are going to produce 'massive detriments'. I just get this vibe that your assuming women aren't supposed to feel pain when they give birth. It just catches me off guard, because more abortions are had not due to the threat to the mother's life, but because the parents aren't ready to handle the responsibility. Few are the cases in which giving birth would prove fatal to the woman. Just something I noticed. EDIT: All birth, no matter what the situation is, presents a potential threat to the physical well being of the mother. Birth is painful, and potentially harmful, regardless of the situation.

You're automatically assuming the woman does not benefit from having a child. I guess the woman benefits maybe not physically, but psychologically (again, maybe not in all cases). And sorry, I was considering the benefits the woman will experience in the future. Actually, just forget I ever posted anything. :P

Well, technically raising a child isn't a parasitic relationship. :P EDIT: At least not in all cases. :s So many women out there find having a child one of the greatest pleasures ever (not physically giving birth, lol; actually who knows, some women might find joy in that actual act, too).
  17. Dude, your right. :shades: My roommate thinks one of our girl friends is super hot, and he keeps trying to get me to go out with her. Thing is, I don't find her that attractive. She's pretty, but just not my style, I guess. She's been saying hi more often to me (we were friends last year and I rarely talked to her), and is talking to me more. I'm really hoping she's not into me, because that'd be the worst thing for me right now: the opportunity to display affection, but not wanting to. What is your style then? His style is Emma Watson. Only...Emma Watson Har har. If you really want to know, I like thinner girls. This girl is relatively thin, and would obviously be described as hot by many guys. I'm just not attracted enough to her to consider a long relationship with her. I'm just not crazy about some of her features. Nothing wrong with that. :P
  18. Played my first Arena game today. Doesn't help that my friend, who is super competitive, was playing with me, complaining about how everyone sucked. Sticking to non-arena. Just not good enough yet. Plus, I'm never confident when I go into games with him, so I just suck. :\
  19. Eh, playing regular slayer on Kingdom is annoying cause I can never get a needle rifle or a dmr. So I play hasty and run in with an assault rifle. :P That game was kinda messy. But Halo is definitely more fun with friends. I never really played with friends before now; it makes it so much better. EDIT: haha, that was the match after which i sent 'my god' to you
  20. I'm just not a big fan of Big Team objective games. :\ In other news, I hate not having a keyboard for my controller. Makes sending messages such a hassle. :s
  21. Yeh. But the other matches were pretty fun, I'd say. :P They really are something. :P Taking my shields down and all that. Psh, no invasion for me.

    Today...

My roommate just asked me to go donate bone marrow with him. Apparently it's one of the most painful things in the world. And I told him I didn't want to, and he gave me this look like I was an awful person... He can't just ask that of me. It pissed me off.
  23. ^ Haha! Because I have nothing better to do. :s Definition of putting the team on your back
