Gemeos, not that I will have max cape by Tuesday but out of curiosity how many hours would I have left to all 99. Skills left being; 98 Strength (12.3M) 96 Range (10.2M) & 91 Defence (6.1M). Or anyone else who could answer this thanks!

Can't get on website without laptop freezing. [bleep]ing shite update

I did slayer again the other day after a few months of not doing it. Never did it hard but I noticed in my whole fire giant task I lost 0lp. They were aggressive and extremely afkable. Has anyone else noticed this? I wasn't paying attention to any exp rates though.

It's only been mentioned three times in two pages, so it's pretty clear to see why you'd have missed it. :-| I know. Which is why he should have been fined for the theft of her commodities in addition to that. I didn't 'miss' anything, you just misinterpreted what I said. I know he didn't actually receive any penalty for the theft of her RS stuff. I am saying that the sum total of his fine should have at least matched the value of what he stole. I disagree with the court not fining the guy for the theft of virtual goods as I view them in exactly the same way as physical commodities, as my previous post explains. Which is why a £100 fine seems low to me. By this logic, should the 'commodities' we earn in-game not be subject to taxation, since they allegedly have a real value and therefore qualify as a source of income? Or... we could just accept that all in-game items remain owned by Jagex and avoid a lot of complications. Baring in mind that RS gold only has a value when you sell it, which involves breaching the terms and conditions of playing the game. RS Gold has a real cash value whether you are interested in selling it or not. For the sake of argument let's say the price of eoc gold is £0.15/M. If you have 500M then it is worth approximately £75 whether you intend to sell it or not. If I have no intentions of selling my Sony stocks or my gold bullion (I wish I actually owned these things), those things still have a value. Virtual currency is no different. You don't pay tax on commodities you own, you only pay tax on your income from those commodities. If I had a pile of gold bars sitting in my room, I wouldn't pay tax on them as I derive no income from them. Same with a pile of RSGP. It is only when you sell those items - real or virtual - that you obtain a taxable income from them, although that does not stop those items from having a value. Whilst I don't dispute that all in game items are owned by Jagex, Jagex has shown a remarkably small interest in preventing the sale of those items. Less than 100 people have been banned for RWT in the past 12 months; and at a conservative estimate, of the order of tens of thousands of unique accounts have bought or sold virtual items for real currency in the last year using the most popular black market site alone. More likely that number is far higher. Until Jagex show more interest in taking action against people selling items they own, the fact that they own them is effectively irrelevant in the same way that a law enforced in fewer than 1% of cases would be irrelevant. You would have to sell a substantial amount of gp in order for it to become taxable. That's providing you declare it of course - I think you can store £20,000 in a paypal account. We're talking over 120B gp of gold at the price you said. If you bought and sold you would have to sell even more for it to become taxable. I think a bigger issue would be if you were able to sell over £75,000 of it. You would legally have to charge VAT on all UK sales. But I think that if you could even get to that point would only be applicable to the difference of price bought/sold. Example if you bought £100 worth and sold for £105. Then £5 would be vatable making £6 the gross amount.

Is that not the same Makaveli who used to post on this thread a year back or so?

It is to be hoped that it is for fun as well, like gaining cosmetic items. Internet respect seems to be bigger now. And just as absurd as taking oneself seriously in all respects. How is taking oneself too seriously absurd? Surely if you can't appreciate yourself how can you expect others too?

I personally would just read ImDustinHoffmanIRL's posts.

I think that it will be a sad day when SUOMI finishes the last skill. No more wondering if it's possible, but hey I planned on quiting permenantly when 5B was met and to be honest.... I'm not read to quit... :P Can you wait a year? :o
-
Thank you, I did not know this. How can you disable certain skills? (I think I have 17 99s) Dont worry, found it thank you.

How would you be able to get the dung exp reward everyday? without the luck of getting it chosen everday?
-
3.7M exp a day average... jeeeez... that's an average of over 100M exp/month... I might be 'lucky' to get 100M exp in a year.
-
Is Toony buying summoning exp via SOF?
-
Next update and Dragonseance could be 11th in the top 15. More likely 12th though, anyone know if he is going for a monthly exp record?
-
This is why you bank off shore.

I guess you just answered yourself... If I just missed something and you didn't answer yourself: your question might be considered offtopic so I would use the private message system. I worked it out now. My Dung Door exp has got about 50% faster using Demon Butler now. Sorry for off-topicness. Back to topic. Anyone think SUOMI could grab the top wc record?

Gemeos, do you mind quickly explaining the ticks with construction? So far I got Butler = 20 ticks Demon = 10 ticks With Normal Butler I do two Dungeon Doors in 11 ticks (5.5 each), leaving 9 ticks waiting around. I do 3 Mahogany Tables in 17-19 ticks (~6 each), leaving 1-3 ticks waiting around. With Demon butler, I can only do one of each because I can't do a full motion in time. How am I supposed to utilise Demon Butler (More so for Dungeon Doors as using Demon could get me upto 500k exp/hour) I'm getting between 288-320K exp/hour on Dungeon Doors with normal butler. I'm getting 550-610k exp/hour with Mahogany Tables with normal butler. I'd like to improve. Thanks you. In short, I'm getting more exp/hour with normal butler than demon because I'm not fast enough.

Are you seriously comparing Farming XP rate and Runecrafting XP rate? :/ Is it not comparable? Actually thinking about the maths, no it's not. Farm run taking no more than 10 minutes. 70 minutes per week. = approx 120k RC exp? He's not losing much

I always though it looked like a Warhammer 40K Rhino. Both companies are headquartered in the UK. Nottingham can't be that far from Cambridge, can it? It's miles apart! 100 miles or so perhaps.

Depending on when exactly the release is, it may or may not delay SUOMI from getting 200M in all skills. At his current pace, he's looking likely to get 200M all skills around March next year. If the new skill is released before then, it'll take longer, obviously. But somehow, knowing Jagex, I don't think it'll come out that soon. They already said end of 2013/start of 2014, and that's just a rough guess, they haven't even started working on it yet. So yeah, Suomi should definitely get 200M all skills before that. Who? What? Where? When? Link please. I expect Suomi to get 5b around New Years tbh. He would have to play around 96 hours per week... But he plays more then 96 hours a week atm he has 9.5m rc xp gained before friday is over he should hit 11.5m which is 96 hours of runespan. Idk why people think he plays less. he claims 10 hours a day and its a lie Lol, another one who thinks SUOMI has claimed that he always plays 10 hours, SUOMI has said that he plays 10 hours average, so sometimes he plays more and sometimes he plays less, Idk how many times he has clerified this :P We all know he plays 36 hours per day/10 days a week/75 weeks of the year.

I remember that day... I was sat in french class talking about the movie Omen... that had just came out in the cinema... with no intention of watching it.... I heard about it like a few days after (fally massacre)

It would be nearly as inefficient as leaving barb outpost, for example. So, no. It can't be considered as a bad idea to leave runespan considering his situation. Even just leave to do daily jack of trades is worth it. Can he even do jack of trades or this a joke I misunderstood?

To above poster, Rune def is in for 2006 and 2007... Also wasn't dragon hatchet initially the same as rune? I know this was the reason I didn't buy one for years I was told by jagex they were the same (just easier to see the head when it falls off)

Except splitting at arctics doesn't require nearly as much effort as pyrelord fming or even conventional fming and yet most people that train wcing still do ivy... Most people will jump at the chance for an afkable method that gives decent Xp/hr and won't bother with more click-intensive ones. The reward gap either isn't large enough or the afkable one is simply way too high to begin with. Ivy is what 80k exp/hour and pines are what 120k exp/hour? I think that is a big enough difference (1/3rd) Pines are 120k if not splitting, 130k if splitting with adze and 140k if splitting with dragon hatchet. The fact is that pines are almost as afk as ivy (or even equally afk), the only big deal for some people is the dropping. If you split with dragon hatchet for some more efficient woodcutting experience, you will just get extra 20k xp/hr which is ridicolous low. Yup, it's ridiculously low effort if you dont split. Safe to say between C2 wc and pines ivy is never neccesary anymore, esp as soulwraiths are as afk as ivy [more predictable (10 successes per spawn.)] As for the bonfires, I doubt they'll beat jad lair as that is pretty afk to begin with.. As a side note, there is a much [read 25% better] method of training def (or even all melees) than monkeys, so idk why you use that as a standard. So splitting is a reward of 18% increase in exp? I wasn't overlly pleased when they made Ivy either btw, I did over 100k yews, over 30k mages, over 80k oaks about 2 years before ivy came out. But hey [garden tool] methods get better and so does other ways to make gp. As with life technology gets better so I guess deal with it.

INTJ too I don't really talk, I prefer to just get on with it. If I do talk it's about some complex theory I just created. I am no overly efficient, but I'm not underefficient (probably above average) I don't troll too often, but I may from time to time. If I think of one at the right moment do so.
