I do have to agree with Maka about speaking openly about a goal that's big. It annoys me when I see threads on RSOF about goals. 99 WC isn't a big deal, please don't make a thread about it. Only ones I don't mind are the F2P guys. Nice to see their threads. Other ones that are annoying.... 200M in X skill... hang on mate.. you're level 82, why would you want 200M? etc. Point is, not to set it as a goal until you're at least over halfway. It's like what David Hume said about miracles, anyone who sees a miracle is lying. They've either taken some substances or are really tired, extreme temperature or are religious and are more likely to believe it. I would only believe someone if they are intelligent and skeptical. As well as there being many of them. It's far more convincing from a million people than from one person. But if they were intelligent enough they would no the miracle didn't happen. Therefore, miracles do not exist. I'm not saying that 200M wont happen but I do see the point in setting it as a goal until you're nearly there. The people who make the threads and gather a huge supporters list I don't understand, but maybe it is about motivation. The need to feel important, perhaps famous which is what drives these people to make a goal like this. I saw a thread on the RSOF of a guy who set 200M all skills. He started with 82M exp, now has about 360M exp and 200M cook. 7.2% there wooo. I know you guys don't consider 200M cook to be perticularly great but that was a big deal for me. I never set it as a goal until 120M exp because I just couldn't bare the idea of not being able to complete the goal, just drove me mad - ended up switching to wines at 130M exp because I just wanted it over and done with sooner. I learnt to just enjoy the game afterwards. That's what it's all about - enjoyment. I know some people enjoy the pressure and I'm sure there's a personality type for that. But that's only me sometimes. Unless you're SUOMI of course because no matter watch you'll reach it.

Don't think that's true to be honest. Ask a random person if they've heard of Gemeos2 and I doubt they'll turn around a say "He's the new Zarfot" they'll probably say "Who's that?" so it probably isn't an issue.

I guess suomi would get 200M rc before he maxed melee. I guess he would max melee crawlering to get some wc exp (that being the second slowest after RC) 200M farm only represents like 12 days of RS :o

I get you. I could invisibly have 203M xp while you have 202M, but we both appear to have 200M xp on highscores, with me having a rank higher than yours. Isn't this what they had before? I remember there were a few people who were maxed cooking (like 5) and the ranks were always interchanging. If they could have the invisible exp + removal of the obvious bots to clean up the highscore we may more competition. Or alternatively every 12 hours there will be a new rank 1 in each skill, giving everyone the chance to be rank one in a skill if they're 200M.

Yeah :/ the HS update has really been off-putting. I'm currently on ~1 hour a week... which is like 4 farm runs :P but with multiple exams in the next 3 weeks it's understandable. Pick up gameplay after the exams.

There's more cyclists in cambridge (jagex HQ town) that in the whole of the USA! and that's a fact. Cycling leads to creativity, such creativity lead to runescape. We must all thank the wonderful bike for the fun with enjoyed in game and on our goals. The best thing about a bike is the handlebars are laptop shape... so you can cycling and play at the same time. excercise the efffffesssiaaaant way ;)

gratz suomi on 3.6Billion exp... if he gained 1 exp a second, 3600 an hour, it'd had taken him 1million hours!

Why people think about quitting? I thought skilling is MUCH more than show-off (highscores). There is kind of a shower off element to it. Might not be the main thing but it is to some extent. Pride and what not... and beating you in cooking ;)

I wouldn't critacise him really. He was the first player to reach 3 200m skills (I think). He also has a 200M on another account. Matt258 was a former rank 1 in WC, Fletch and Firemake at the same time. By todays standards he is far off but by the standards of the day when achieved he wasn't. Sharks was most popular for Cook, Mages were far too expensive and fletching was done by stringing bows. A Partyhat set was like 800M back then. All the best of luck to Matt258 on you're goal.

I swear I walked past Andrew on a recent trip to Cambridge or someone that looks like him. I've been to the jagex HQ (as pointed by google maps) and I didn't even see the tank! or the Tower... It was a shared office complex with 2 other organisations opposite the science park at the east side of Cambridge. I wasn't brave enough to knock the on the door. I'm sure they would had told me to go away if I did knock on the door. Also after like 7 years playing I still down no how to prounce JAGEX.... is it JAG-EX or JAY-JEX or what?

Maybe he wants the titles of buyable God and 200M God at the same time? Correct me if I'm wrong but his only buyables left on HS order are Range; Firemake; Crafting; Farming, and Summoning (if that counts). With Range and Summoning not really counting as they're byproducts. That leaves 2 or 3 he can get to 200M by 2012. I also have a question S O U M I that you're probably tired of explaining :/ is there special days e.g. birthday/Christmas/new years eve etc that you wont play RS on or do you no longer celebrate those?

Ye she's badclap. I never realized Barty and Drowns were in the 1bil range, makes me wonder if there are any other sub 138s- with 1b xp. All I can think of atm is Simon(134), Water(126), El popo1(126), Drowns(81), and Barty(109). There's me I guess 102 cb p2p, 95 f2p and 430M total exp. I know it's not even halfway but still.

Yeah I might do that on my next update since I used up all my funny jokes at the start hoping I would only have to cover Langer for a week or two. Also if Green was as good at Plunder as she was at Dungeoneering then that statement doesn't really say much. The few update I read were great, it's a shame that my hide button only unhides them sometimes. So I'm unable to read all of them :P when I was thieving properly (many years ago) I was averaging 210k exp/hour and I'm inefficient, like I can only achieve a max of 650k exp/hour doing wines :D ahhh well.

Also Runetracker started in November 2007 and the table was over a year before that. I do remember 2007 being a change for many players and the top 21 soon became exclusively maxed total and more competitive. Well soon after the release of skill capes in late '06 that started to happen, people became more competitive. The V is when Dungeoneering was released. It would be interesting to the the same graph for all of the top 15 highest exp players. I have a friend that done some PP with green and I think he said that he was faster than her back then.

Minerman64 comes on every now and then, but definitely doesn't play as seriously as he used to. He was third to get 99 slayer back in the day, but like most real life has intervened. Thanks for bringing up that list though ^^ Brings back memories :) No problem! and thanks for that reaction :D it's a shame I didn't do one for the top 21 of each skill for that day :/ would be awesome to have done a comparison like that.
