Looks pretty sweet! The only things I find are as already mention the silencer is too large and for sights the rear sight has two pegs the front sight will have one as you have it... (just a tip, dont know how realistic you are trying to get it) Keep up the good work
I noticed that you have another file on your work area minimized in the bottom left corner... If you clicked on the file and it thinks its primary (highlighted, being worked on) even if the other one is open it will give you the regular mouse cursor (I tried it on mine to verify). So I suggest you always click on the picture that you are going to work on just to be sure it is active. Hope that helps. If not good luck.
It has a "old style" comic book effect... Sort of like the old [bleep] Tracey Comics things of that era. I think its nice, certainly a different style from what I have seen here.
This is just hypocracy. uh, the area under the magazine pad, i just realised it could be used as a way to pull it out easier? i dont know much about guns but apparently you do, whateva  As a matter of fact I do know a bit about guns, what i dont know about is the statments you made
Magazine? Its not an old revolver lol :P Not sure why you quoted me and then made that comment... but if you are saying revolvers have magazines you are mistaken. Revolvers have cylinders... As for the information I provided for keiphus it was meant as general advise if you wanted it more accurate (from seeing previous works you tend to want to be right on target with what you do). Also I indicated that I did not know if it was based on an actual firearm or just something imaginative...if you cant stand the advise dont post sheesh
I am assuming its meant to be a handgun firing actual bullets rather than a futuristic lazer pistol? In that case the barrel should be round not squared as you have it in the front. Same would go for the squared area below it which would be the recoil spring rod. Someone mentioned that the area under the magazine should not be there, but I see nothing wrong with that as it could be a magazine extender of sorts or just a magazine pad. The trigger area (trigger guard and trigger itself) appear to be a bit small, try to make it larger think of a larger finger or a gloved finger handling it. It appears that the full slide would not move back which is the general blow back design on higher caliber handguns. The type of design it appears you have pictured is more something you see on a .22 caliber walther or its copy .22 or .25 caliber phoenix arms small firearm. I would round off the grip portion a bit more as it would be a bit uncomfortable to hold as it appears now. The overal design from memory is not bad. I would be curious to see the finished product.
Thx for the comments everyone. I did use harry potter as a refrence for my sketch, but its not supposed to be meant to be harry potter so I do not intend to make any changes to the character. It is merely meant to be a young wizard in training, hence the levitation 101 on the paper and the young appearance of the wizard. *quer skulll... peter was refering to the original image i posted I clearly made changes on the reworked piece ;). I dont think that the left arm is off you must keep in mind that it is not pointing out to the side it is going more toward the back so the perspective changes. The bat is behind the paper as the bat is toward the wall and the paper is floating closer to the viewer with the practicing of the levitation ;).
Finally had some time to get back to this... Thanks everyone for the C/C I made a few changes based on the recommendations and a few changes on things i was not quite happy with.
Thanks for all the info! I tried out a few different ones (freeware or trial downloads) and found camtasia to be closest to what i was after for image capturing in a video (streaming) format. I then used one of the other screen capture programs to make individual frames of the video so that I could put it into a gif format... Here is what I made so far...
What is the name of the screen capture program that will capture multi frames with a single click or setting? (I don't mean the screen print button on the keyboard) Also is it free and where can i get it? Thanks for your help
Sorry, not sure what you mean this is my first attempt at this style of art. However since you feel it is not good do you have any suggestions on how it can be improved?
Working on this pixel image... I know there are flaws and am looking for some feedback on correcting them. Also if you might be interested in purchasing the final piece pm me, thanks.
I think it looks amazing. Since you were going by a reference I don't see any reason to talk about water swirls or bare trees :) I just think the piece looks amazing the way it was painted with the tablet. Great Job, keep it up.
If you have photoshop 5 it should have come with adobe image ready 5... that is the animation program for photoshop. Then try looking up image ready animation on google to get some tuts on how it works. Good Luck
Actually, Bryce is a lot harder for photorealistic landscapes...Terragens images have always been superior in that aspect. It is quite apparent that this image took a bit of work and I would say it was well worth it, for such a wonderful result.
