Given my combat style and how I rarely fight, I don't even need a fire cape. I can easily afford a few attempts, but I don't really need to unless I actually wanted a comp cape, which I doubt would ever come to fruition.

Yeah, I dislike it as well. I've tried watching it again, but I couldn't sit through 2 1/2 hours of bland characters. It was only legendary because 1) Sorta kicked off the 3D thing for real and 2) 2 1/2 hours of scenery porn. Otherwise, the characters and story were terrible and it didn't help the behavior of the military actually got me angry at some times. As for story, it was basically Pocahontas gone Sci-Fi. I completely agree. My whole family kept telling how it was amazing. I tried explaining to them that the story has been told plenty of times before, it's nothing new. In my case, it was more irksome. My brother tried to dismiss my points as meaningless by saying "it's just a movie" and he prides himself as one of those "movie buffs" (who, in reality, just loves to gossip about celebrities' lifestyles which I couldn't give two [bleep]s for).No, it's more than that. Films are one of the staples of what society considers art and should have some degree of originality and quality. A movie like Avatar should at least make the effort to be groundbreaking in story style as well as its graphics. Otherwise, it basically proved a movie only has to look really good with only a semi-decent plot that is attractive enough. I could keep going if I wanted to, but I am ending it here. I am not dissing a movie by its graphics (in fact, I encourage it), but they should put the effort into the creativity and have some dignity too. Oh, I didn't see the 3D version because I kept hearing reports of people feeling dizzy after seeing it in that format.

Reading another astrology book. It is unfortunate my other pair of ear phones died again because I cannot listne to music and Avatar (blue aliens) is being watched in the living room. No way to tune out noise and I will be reminded why I disliked humanity. Fun fact: I've only seen the movie once, and it was back in 2009, if that implies my disliking of the film.
