Hopefully they don't have something like a one-time item giveaway at that time. Speaking from experience about Jagex events, you won't be missing much otherwise. Since I usually get up before 8 am est, I might just check out anyway out of boredom. Hopefully, there isn't some item giveaway at it.

A performance-type thing in Death's citadel theater, I think. 2PM BST/GMT/whichever is in effect at the time. Better [bleep]ing not be. I go clubing the night before for my 21st and the event would be 5AM next morning. It's bad enough I can never goto TET events and TETAU has died during and since my time, but I'll be damned if Jagex pulls this on Aussies. Unfortunately for Australia players, the performance *is* at that time. To be honest, I wish they had a second event at Death's citadel for players who aren't American or European, but they seem to forget or not bother. :|

I also had the same thoughts about this Halloween event. The last 4-5 were awesome (of course, I liked 08 out of bias) with the items and the way the event was done. Honestly, this will be the first time that Halloween isn't my favorite of the 3 main holiday events since 05. It somewhat sucked I forgot to bring Eek along since she is amusing when it comes to comments. :(

The release of the royal crown and its comparison to the party hats is another good example. I remember seeing all the irritated comments about how all you needed to do was get 91 hunter to get a party hat now... I lol'ed at those people. I wonder what they have in mind for the Christmas event... :rolleyes: Although, I guess we'll have to wait till the end of this month if golden scythe is GJ related. This should be interesting.

Joined Runescape a few weeks after the scythe was dropped (and rubber chicken, but that is a trivial matter) and it still slightly annoys me to this day. What is interesting to me is Kaida's theory that the golden scythe is actually a Golden Joystick appreciation item. If they were to lose the GJ after a two winnings in a row, would they scrap the scythe, and possibly the sock mask if it's related, or release it anyway? As for veterans feeling betrayed about the new scythe stealing the value of their own scythe, this wouldn't be the first time they undermined that part of the community. In fact, I wonder if they're going to keep doing things that, to the veterans, feel like its undermining because they're essentially a minority compared to the new generations that help Jagex profit.

Especially the last one since it looks more deliberately done to look that way. Wtf are you obsessed with Racheya? Someone mentioned about creepy signatures and it spiraled from there.
