I fail to see how this will make fixed prices on items. If they are buying mass quanities of high end equipment to raise prices. People will just stop buying and then they will be stuck with all of those high end equipment with nobody buying it and they will be the ones losing out.

For you new people... I remember when there was 2 servers with about 350 people on each of them....Now look at runescape. It is about the only MMO that has really increased their customers year per year....

I just recently came back after a longg break. First im wanting to get my att,def,str to these levels. 80att 70def 85str Im currently training at experimentals and was wondering how long I should stay here and where are better places? Im also wanting to get my fishing up to 80, should I just stick with lobs in catherby? its currently 65. Also I have the quest to get to experimentals,and biohazard members quest done and thats it. What quest should I start working on? Also I have about 14k nature runes, should I just use them for high alch? Also I have tons of bronze/iron arrows and 60 range. Where should I use them at?

Well I just came back after about a 4 year break...(played every now and then between) i have 71att,63def,81str,42 slayer. Im wanting to level up my slayer to 85. How should I do that? Also i have 60 range and im wanting to get it to 90. how should i do that? And what quest are must haves?

I havent played in a while, thought id check new graphics and this is what it looks like everytime it loads.... I have a computer that should run this no problem. Any ideas?

Where exactly did they say they screwed up? I got the exact oppisite from the post. They put words in our mouth saying how much the RTW'RS and bots effected us, when I have not once been effected by them. They tell us that they are going to take good ideas and come up with ones of their own to tweak their updates. But there really isnt any tweaking you can do for what they did. They are going to keep adding dangerous mini games...? Yeah because bounty hunter was a huge success right..? There is no way to bring back actual pking as we knew it with these lame updates, there is no way to bring back stake dueling where players that are good at it can actually make money. It just isnt possible, and I guess jagex doesnt realize that. What are they going to do add a bunch of [wagon] mini games that no one likes and then tell us the game is back to normal? cmon...

Im on there!!! nightsword2,w00t, man I still remember exactly where I was that day. What sucked about that day was, it was only people who had logged in the recent 24 hours that got wiped. Me and my friend were very competive and he used it just like me, but he hadnt been on it in the past 24 hours and wasnt wiped. And yes it was a full state wipe/bank clearance. I did not have anything on me when I logged in or in my bank, and my hp was wiped to 1 instead of 10 also.

I will still be playing. People are over reacting right now and forget that this will probably be the last bad update for a long time. Jagex now has more resources to use for better updates as well. People like you dont realize how bad this update is. Its basically a single player game now with a interactive chat room,which is moderated to bones and teeth just like everything else in this game now. They have destoyed trading, the wild, dueling, basically everything that made runescape, well runescape.

They mentioned nothing about that, you join the mini game and get selected a random player in there to kill to try and get their loot, i think thats it and thats pretty simple. And where do you get killing in the wilderness= no reward now..?

Where do you guys keep getting that since you will leave a gravestone when you die that you no longer drop loot? They mentioned nothing about not dropping loot anymore, yet you guys are jumping all over it... I highly doubt they would make the wild(that was the whole point behind the wild when they introduced it) to where you dont drop any loot.. You guys need some better common sense =/

Server costs are probably more than that, and don't forget that Andrew isn't the only one behind this, Paul is also involved and probably gets quite a large share of it. Their employees make way less than 40$ an hour. They make about 10 pounds an hour (20K a year), on average, which translates to a bit less than 20 bucks an hour. ya if all their employees made 40$ an hour....i would be moving to england and signing up for a job there :D. thats almost 80k a year

CSS has tons of recoil. More then 1.6. No, it has more spread but less recoil. If you don't know the difference between spread and recoil then you are too new to the game to have an opinion : Don't wanna come off like a jerk, but i've played 1.6 for 7 years and have played competitively with the best in the world (fRoD, sunman etc. etc.) so I know what i'm talking about My bad. Get them mixed up. I only play Scoutzknivez, anyways. no prob, its understandable :D gotta love scoutz... I haven't played scoutz in around 3 years!!! I used to only play scoutz for about 4 months straight and was nasty at it, it is very very fun! Lol you have played with frod and sunman? If you had you would be making money playing games besides runscape. And do you even know what team sunman is on now he left col?

Well i play every now and then, and last night was the first time i got to test the GE out. Im an oldschool player and not up to stuff with things put in 2 years or so ago up until now. well i was wanting to buy a full set of rune, and there was this thing called a box set of rune(t) or something for like 180k. I bought that, then had to log off pretty quick. But i couldnt figure out how to get it open, is that a full set of rune like i thought it was, and how do i open it? Thanks :D

At work everytime when i try and place runescape it will get to connecting to update server and then not go any further and give me things about firewalls. I work at a lab and we have a system firewall on all the computers, and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to play? Error_game_js5connect - Unable to connect to update server. Runescape was unable to connect to the update server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection. To resolve this: If you have firewall or security software installed please ensure RuneScape/Java is allowed to open outgoing network connections on ports 43594. Note Windows XP Service Pack 2 has built in firewall software. If when loading RuneScape this asks if you want to allow the connection, you need to say 'yes'. If that doesn't help then an external firewall may be causing the problem. Please ask your network adminstrator/ISP to open port 43594 for TCP traffic. If problems persist then please refer to our technical FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website.

well my stats are 70att 60def 81str. I was wondering what would be the best items to train in(plate/legs/etc) and where? I dont care to to click train although its eaiser not to. but just give me some tips :D
