I don't use dreadnips on tormented demons anymore because they trigger the demon's Melee prayer now.

Whilst trying Storm of Armadyl on tormented demons...

Why don't you mage/melee them?

I'm interested in the Dark Magic aura. Can anyone purchase any of the tier 4 auras yet?

Hell no, that would make mage PvM so much more expensive. It's finally as cost efficient as Melee. Save for the polypore staff, all level 90+ spells cost well over 1 - 2k each.

So how do you recharge the staff? What materials do you need?

Polypore staff has a base max of 350, 542 on players in the Wilderness, 672 on a Slayer monster in Kuradal's dungeon.

Assuming you're wearing full mage gear (chaotic staff, arcane stream necklace, arcane spirit shield, ragefire boots, "Barrows" gloves, seers ring (i), a God cape and full Ganodermic you have the following bonuses: 142 in mage attack, 100 in stab defence, 355 slash defence, 286 crush defence, 226 mage defence and 79 range defence. On top of that you get 24% melee damage soaking and 53% mage damage soaking.

That's the stick, not the staff.

Hey, I got my first hybrid helm from Castle Wars yesterday after around 50-60 games. Now I'm trying to get the other two helms as well, but so far I've won another 15 games and no second hybrid helm yet :( 15 games is worth 5 hours of time, so I'm a bit annoyed that it's taking so long to get my second helm. To anyone that has gotten multiple helms from Castle Wars, how long did it take for you on average to get them? Am I having bad luck?

Congrats mate :thumbup: I do still have 300K tokens I've saved... But dunno what to buy... Hardly any use for CKS, EEKS for when I Arma (which is hardly ever), Farseer is perhaps the most useless shield there, CSB might come in useful for Ice Stryke tasks but I have a Mages Book, CS - outclassed by Armadyl Battlestaff... :( I so dunno. I would go with the CSB and the chaotic staff. CSB is useful for killing ice strykewyrms, glacors and for other Slayer monsters if you like to mage slay with Fire Surge. The chaotic staff is still the best staff for every other combat spell, other than Storm of Armadyl. So it definitely still has a use. Farseer kiteshield is a great shield for mage tanking meleers 1 on 1 due to the high damage soaking. CKS is useless in my opinion, I can't find a use for it anywhere. I have one and I don't think I've ever used one. EKS... outclassed by spectral spirit shield for Armadyl in my opinion.

Is it true that leech curses, for example Leech Ranged, boosts your Ranged by 15% instead of 10% even though the game description claims otherwise?

Any info on the special effect of the gloves? How much of a boost do goliath gloves and spellcaster gloves give?

Why does the dominion staff have lower Magic Strength than a chaotic staff? :mellow:
