I am stuck at 5 - 6 FPS now. Lucky to get 11 FPS in a very quiet area w/o any NPCs in sight. Before the last system update I could still get around 22 FPS in quiet areas and around 16 in busier places. I can't play RS right now.

I hope a fix to the FPS lag comes with the update. I'm tired of being stuck at 6 FPS whereas I usually had around 15 - 20 FPS before the last update, and 35 before Bot Nuke Day... still waiting on the promised fix for it.

That's with the Armadyl battlestaff, right? Yeah. I automatically assume you're using an ABS, because I don't see the point of using the spell without the staff :P Anyway, to compare Storm of Armadyl against Fire Surge... Min hit of SoA at 106 Magic and a +30% damage boost is 227. Max hit is 478. An average hit of 352 or 146,66 DPS at an attack speed of 2.4 ticks per attack. Max hit of Fire Surge at 106 Magic and a 35% damage boost is 457. An average hit of 228,5 which is 76,16 DPS at an attack speed of 3 ticks per attack.

Bit more than 80% better.

Zzz, still waiting on a fix for leech curses not working with mage spells. I guess they're never going to fix it.

Why would you use a skill cape... use a God cape instead. Magic attack bonus important. Prayer bonus is more important-- he's only 52 prayer. It's all about finding a balance between defense, prayer, and offense in the caves. Prayer > offense > defense in his case. 10 magic attack is more important than 4 prayer bonus.

There's a thread on the RSOF with a formula that has a 99,1% accuracy rate. I've used it a couple of times and all the results I got were correct. QFC: 154-155-606-60798052 You can calculate it yourself :)

I'm pretty sure that's updated iron / steel armor.

Most Slayer monsters have low mage defence if you have a decent mage attack. I would just go with Water Surge for the best xp/h.

Chaotic maul at 99 Strength, overloaded, using Turmoil, at a 200 Strength bonus, maxes at 718. At an attack speed of 6 game ticks, that's 199 DPS max. Chaotic rapier at 99 Strength, overloaded, using Turmoil, at a 152 Strength bonus, maxes at 588. At an attack speed of 4 game ticks, that's 245 DPS max. How can the maul be better than the rapier at tormented demons?

Neither the chaotic maul or the chaotic longsword does more DPS than the chaotic rapier at tormented demons. Not at his level.

:blink: Eh... I average no more than 9 herbs per patch, and I'm basing that on 200 seeds. Even with farming juju potions.

I recommend you use dreadnips at tormented demons again. I'm getting 69 KPH with them.

Use overloads with a yak if you can use it. The drops from the dragons cover up most of the cost you use on armadyl runes.

Storm of Armadyl if you've done ROTM quest. Polypore staff otherwise. Use the best mage offensive gear you can get your hands on.

If you can make more than 1.9m/h you should definitely fletch broad arrows.
